I got up out of bed and groaned. If you sleep better on the top bunk what was it like on the bottom? I peeked out of the curtain and saw someone pass my bunk. The tour manager. He walked into the back room with Vic and the door closed behind him. I jumped down from the bunk and found my suitcase. I grabbed some clothes and hurried to the bathroom.
The bathroom was tiny. It had a shower, toilet and sink. Then room for a few steps in between each. I washed and then got changed. I decided on denim shorts and a low cut tank top. Then I back combed my hair and did my make-up. I slipped on my vans and walked out. I slung my clothes onto my bunk then went through to the front of the bus.
Mike had his feet up on the sofa watching TV and Tony was on his phone, sitting next to him. I stopped in front of them and waited. “Mike?”
“Yeah?” he teased.
“Move your feet,”
“Don’t think I will,”
“Move for her,” Tony urged.
“No,”
“Thanks for trying,” I told Tony. Then I fell back and sat on Mike’s lap.
“Jesus, you’re fat,” he groaned.
“Good job at boosting my self-esteem,” I said dryly. Mike saluted me and flicked the channel over. I leaned back until my mouth was by his ear. “Do you have any smokes?” I asked quietly.
“I always have smokes,” he responded.
“Well, can I have one?”
“Vic doesn’t like you smoking,” he stated.
“I don’t like the fact I've seen Vic's dick but I have,”
“Anyway, no smoking on the bus,”
“Why?”
“Bus rules,” he shrugged.
“That sucks,”
“We stop soon,” Tony explained.
“First venue?” I asked and they nodded.
“So, what do you do?”
“On the first day nothing. We just meet everyone and get ready for tomorrow. After that its non stop,”
“Cool,” I nodded. Then I saw someone walk towards us. He had almost black hair that was spiked and I saw a sleeve on one of his arms. I got up and walked across to the table, sitting up on it. I saw him watch me and I crossed my arms over my chest.
“Please tell me that I have never met you, because I have this thing about being rude to people,” he said and I smiled.
“I think you’d remember me,” I said lightly. He looked at me curiously and I raised an eyebrow. I widened my eyes a little and he stepped forward.
“I’m Jaime,”
“The missing band member,” I commented. “I’m Alyssa,”
“What part are you on? I thought I’d met everyone,” he said and leant back against the side.
“I’m on no part,” I explained. “I’m Vic and Mike’s sister,”
“Oh,” he muttered and titled his head to the side. “I see it now,”
“She’s here for the tour,” Tony added.
“You met Jaime,” Vic said. I looked and him and saw him pull his vans on. “Go change,” he said flatly.
“What?”
“You heard me, Lyssa,”
“There’s nothing wrong with what I’m wearing,” I snapped. “Everyone at Warped wears the same,”
“All of 'those' fans wear the same. And all the bands say the same about those girls. I’m not having my sister getting a rep as a Warped Whore,” Vic retorted.
“Warped Whore?” I echoed.
“Leave her be, let her wear what the fuck she wants,” Mike said.
“Parked up PTV!” the driver called from the front.
“Jaime, can you show me round Warped? I wanna meet some cool people,” I said.
“Sure,” he grinned. I walked over to the door and waited. “That okay, Vic?”
“No, I’ll come,” he replied quickly.
“I’m not going to lose your sister, Dude,”
“I don’t trust her without adult supervision,”
“Like you can pass for an adult,” I teased. Vic rolled his eyes and pushed past me to open the door. He grabbed some passes and I followed him out.
