I Still Think You're Beautiful
Ten
We only have just over two weeks of tour left. That means three weeks before I move to England. I think Vic and Mike are starting to realise that now, I just don’t know if they care or not.
I looked down through my hair at my phone. Oli has been texting me a lot and no matter how many times I ignore him he doesn’t get it. We haven’t slept together since Jaime and I had that talk. I didn’t want to sleep with anyone unless it was Jaime.
A text flashed on the screen and I clicked it up. It was from Oli. ‘When am I going to have you again, babe?’. I closed it and threw my phone down onto the sofa. I felt someone sit down and looked up. It was Jaime. He grinned at me and I moved my legs so he had more room.
“What’s up?” he asked lightly.
“Need a drink,” I smiled and got up. I went over to the fridge and got out a bottle of water. I walked back and saw Jaime holding my phone. “Hey,” I frowned.
“You got a text,” he said. I took my phone from him as I sat down. I looked at the text, from Oli again. ‘I want you now.’
“Did you read it?” I asked anxiously.
“Yeah,” he sighed. “Is he sending you those a lot?”
“Well, I don’t know,”
“You don’t know,” Jaime echoed.
“Sort of. But it doesn’t matter,” I shrugged.
“Lyssa, you can’t let them send you stuff like this,”
“It's not like I’m meeting him. You know I’m not,”
“Promise me,” he urged.
“I promise,” I smiled. Jaime took my hand and I squeezed it.
“You want me to sort some things?” he asked slowly. I looked at him and laughed.
“No, but thanks,” I smirked. I rested my head on his shoulder and saw him smile again. “Where is everyone, anyway?” I asked and pulled away from him.
“They went to catering,"
“And you didn’t go?!" I gasped.
“No Mexican,” he shrugged and grinned.
“Such a shame,” I mocked. Then I walked over to the radio and turned it up. It was tuned into a pop station and I groaned.
“Leave it on,” Jaime said before I could turn over.
“What? It’s rubbish!” I exclaimed.
“I know you love it,” he grinned. I rolled my eyes and Jaime walked over to me. He took my hands and put one of them on his back. He put his hand on my back and forced me to twirl around. I laughed into his shoulder and he dipped me down. I clung onto him and he lifted me into the air. Jaime set me down and I looked up at him. He leant in to kiss me and I wrapped my arm around his neck. I felt our lips press together and my lips turned into a smile. He pulled away a little and went to rest his forehead on mine. I kissed him again and we twirled around again, causing me to giggle.
