I'm Not That Perfect

"It's so nice for Austin to finally be bringing a girl home again. I don't think he's had any girl to meet us since Gielle, but she was awful." Aunt Lisa shuddered.
I smiled. "I am very happy to be here. I would have gone home to Venice but that just couldn't be arranged."
"Let me make sure I've got this straight. You're French but you've lived in Italy?" Sarah asked.
"Yeah. I was born in Lyons, France." I replied.
"That's so cool. And you're a model!" Addie sighed.
"How old are you two?" I asked curiously.
"Sixteen." They said at the same time.
"I remember being sixteen." I smiled gently. "Good old days. Enjoy it while it lasts."
"Are you and Austin dating?" Addie asked.
I laughed. "We're friends."
"No way! You act like you are." Sarah said.
"Avery acts like she's what?" Austin interjected, running inside and sitting on top of me.
Addie smiled at me. "We were talking about you and Avery dating."
"Oh. Why the hell are you talking about my love life?" He blushed.
"Hey Avery, do you do naked photoshoots?" Austin's cousin Jay asked, walking in the door.
Now I blushed. "Um, not where you can like, see everything."
"So if I got naked, could you take pictures of me?" He asked.
Austin smacked him. "Stop hitting on her! You're seventeen!"
I laughed. "You're cute."
Jay's skin blushed. "Y-You think I'm cute?"
"Absolutely adorable." I nodded.
Austin turned around and looked at me. "Don't you think I'm cute?"
"You know what I think about you." I grinned.
"Come on, lady. You know, I'm like Jake and you're Lady Rainicorn." Austin said, grabbing my hand and towing me to his room.
"From Adventure Time?"
"Yeah. They have, like, six pups and Jake Jr. is the best and- Oh my god. I've been hanging out with Jack too much." He said.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked, biting my lip.
"Of course you can." Austin replied.
"What. . . What are we?" I asked.
"Whatever you want to be." He said sincerely. "Personally I would love to be able to kiss you in public and let everyone know how much I feel about you and not hide. But I get it if that's not what you want."
I smiled, walking over and kissing him. "You make me happy."
