*Austin's POV*
I was in the middle of band practice when my phone rang. But i answered it because it was Aubrey.
Me ; Hello.
Her ; I love you.
The line went dead before i could say it back, though. That was strange. I tried calling back to see if maybe her phone dropped the call. I wouldn't doubt it. But when i called back, there was no answer. After about twelve calls, i started to get a little bit panicked. I ran through the house to grab my keys. Alan ran after me freaking out just as much as i was.
'What's going on, bro?'
Alan asked as we came to a stop in the kitchen.
'I think Aubrey is gonna commit suicide.'
I said blankly. He just looked at me. But soon after, he began packing his bags & we were out of the door in no time. On the way to the airport, i listened to Welcome to my Life by Simple Plan. Was Aubrey feeling all of the things listed in the song?

A tear escaped my eyes after i finally listened to all of the words. We were finally at the airport.
'Two one way, emergency tickets to West Virginia, please.'
I said in a rushed tone. She nodded & handed Alan & I each a ticket & led us to a plane.
*Skipping the fly.*
A barged into the house & started screaming.
'Aubrey! AUBREY AMYTHEST!'
I yelled. I panicked when i heard no answer. I was searching the house quickly hoping that i wouldn't see a dead body on the floor anywhere. I got 911 ready on my phone, just in case.
'Aub!'
I yelled again. Still receiving no answer. I walked up the steps, hearing nothing in the house but the slapping of my feet on the hard- wood stairs, & the unsteady breathing coming from Alan & I. We approached her bedroom door, afraid of what we'd see on the other side. We saw exactly what we were fearing once we opened the door. There she was, my baby sister, laying in a pool of self caused blood. I pressed call on the number that was already dialed.
