"Dont leave." James demanded after I got out of our bed.

"Austins surgery is monday, I'm going to spend the day with him" I said pulling myclothes on.

"Lilian don't you care leave. I swear to god if you walk out that door I'll-"

"My best friend is getting open heart surgery in two days! I'm fucking going to spend time with him!" I screamed before slamming the front door behind me.

I knew I was going to pay for that later, but there was no way I wasn't going to be there when Austin needed me most. As soon as I got to Austins house I parked in the driveway and walked into the house.

"Lil!" Austin beamed at me from the couch. "Guess what?"

"What?" I grinned, placing my bag down next to the doorway and jumped ontop of Austin.

"I love you" He smiledplacing his palm on my cheek. I leaned into his touch and closed my eyes.

"I love you too Austin." I grinned even wider then when I had walked into the house.

"Now guess what we're doing today." His other hand rubbed up and down my thigh.

"Sleeping? Watching movies and crying over them together?" I giggled.

"Nope. I'm taking you shopping." He smiled. I got off of his lap and sat beside him, cuddle up to his side.

"Austin nooooo" I whined.

" Lil I know you hate it when people spend money on you but what if I dont make it on Wednesday? I want you to have things that remind you-"

"Austin Robert Carlile!" I shouted standing up. "Don't you dare say that! You are going to come out of that operating room with a smile on your face and you are going to be perfectly healthy and you are going to recover wonderfully." I felt tears stinging the corners of my eyes. "And you and Alan are going to start that band together and you're going to tour the world..." I whispered the last part, wiping tears from my eyes slowly.

"Lilly I didn't mean to make you cry baby." He frowned and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me onto his lap.

"I'm sorry Austin. I just don't even want to think about losing you. It really isn't an option in my mind."

"C'mon Lilly, let's go shopping." He smiled and pressed his lips to my cheek. We hadn't really kissed since we started talking again, but it made sense to me. We knew we loved each other but he was married and I was with James. Just knowing was good enough for us right now.

"I can't believe you only picked out three things." Austin huffed as I got my nails done. "AND you're making me sit here and wait for you to get your claws done"

I laughed at the face he made as he wriggled his fingers around like an impatient child, which he pretty much was.

"You're ridiculous."

"I'm going to go for a walk okay? If I'm not back before you're done then just call me." Austin said before he leaned over and planted a kiss on my cheek. "Love you."

"Love you too Aust." I smiled down at my lap.

"Your boyfriend huh?" Kimberly asked as she filed my nails.

"Oh-uh-not exactly." I blushed wildly and turned to look out the window.

"Well, he should be. You ever noticed the way he looks at you? It's beautiful Lil, don't ever give that up."

Austin came and picked me up when I finished and we drove back to his house. The entire way home I couldn't stop thinking about what Kim had said. I knew Austin loved me, but was it really that obvious to other people? We couldn't let people know because if Gielle found out I don't know what I would do. It would probably destroy a lot of things that the threee of us had going for us. Austin and Gielle had a beautiful house out on Huntington Beach and I had a lot of modeling connections with her. Maybe Austin and I should have just left things the way they were before. Maybe we never should have started talking after that night at the beach. It probably would have been better for us both.

"Earth to Lillian!" Austin said waving his tattooed hand in front of my face. I stared at him wide-eyed. "We're back at the house."

"Oh" I mumbled before climbing out of the car. I got my two bags from the backseat of the car and went into the house after Austin. When I walked into the living room I dropped all the bags I had been previously carrying on the floor. There were shopping bags all over the living room. "Austin where-"

"I went and picked up a few things while you got your nails done." He smiled proudly from behind the mountain of things he had purchased.

"A-a few?"

"Well, a lot, but I knew you wouldn't let me buy you all the things you wanted to I just went back and got everything I saw you looking at." He shrugged.

"Austin I don't know what to say..." I whispered looking around at all the bags, then finnaly up at him.

"Lil, you don't have to say anything."

He grinned at me while he ran his hand over my cheek lightly. Austin leaned down and pressed his lips against mine while he snaked his arms around my waist. My body leaned into his and we stumbled towards the steps that led to his bedroom, our lips still connected. He picked my up by my waist and carried me up the stairs, shutting the bedoom door softly behind us. My back landed on the bed and Austin began biting behind my earlobe and sucking on the sensitive skin.

"Austin we shouldn't do this..."I said breathlessly.

"Lilly please..." He groaned and moved his hand under my shirt.

"What if Gielle-"

"She won't."

"But Austin-"

"Shhhh." He whispered against my lips before he slid his hand into my pants. I bit down on my lip as he rubbed over my panties.

I finally gave in and pulled his shirt off before attaching my lips to the skin just below his chin. Austin shimmied my jeans over my hips and down the sides of my legs, then pulled my top gently over my head. My hands fumbled with the buckle on his belt before I finally pulled his own jeans down while his hands tossed my bra and underwear across the room.

"Austin? What's all this stuff in the living room?" I heard Gielle's voice coming from downstairs. We both froze, our eyes going wide. Austin pulled his clothes on and started to throw mine at me while pushing me towards the bathroom door.

"Say you were trying something on!" He whispered.

I shut the door behind me and put my bra and top on. I looked for the next thing to put on, but I couldn't find it.

"Hey Gi." I heard Austin coo from their bedroom.

"Hey, where's Lil?" she answered happily.

"Bathroom. She's trying something on that she bought today."

"She did an awful lot of shopping." Gielle laughed. I heard the bed move and I could picture her laying across it facing the tv as she turned it on. "What is that?"

"What?" Austin questioned.

"Those fucking panties. Those aren't mine Austin."

"Of course they are! Whose would they be Gielle?" Austin raised his voice.

"Where the fuck is she?! Trying something on in the bathroom my ass!" She screamed. I pulled on my jeans as I heard her footsteps getting closer to the bathroom door. Well, here we go.
