After I paid we began our walk to the fair I was taking her to.
"Please tell me where we're going." She begged giving me puppy dog eyes.
"Nope!" I said sneaking a look at her adorable face.
"Why?" She asked, still giving me puppy dog eyes.
"Because that would ruin the surprise!" I explained.
Suddenly she plopped down onto the concrete.
"What are you doing?" I asked, startled.
"I'm not getting up until you tell me where we're going." She declared.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
She can't be serious. I looked at her. She had a persistent look on her face. Oh, my god, she was serious. I walked over and sat beside her.
"Please get up so I can take to my surprise destination?" I asked her sweetly, giving her some puppy eyes of my own. She looked at me and let out a sigh.
"Fine!" She yelled dramatically.
I jumped up and held out my hand for her to take. She grabbed my hand and I pulled her up. We continued our walk. When we got to a point where the place was around the corner I put my hands over her eyes.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Keeping the surprise, a surprise." I explained.
I guided her around the corner and until we were standing right in front of it. I slowly took my hands off her eyes.
"Surprise!" I yelled.
The most beautiful smile I've ever seen spread across her lips. In front of us was the county fair. I had read about it online and thought it would be fun. I pulled the tickets out of my pockets and took Ellis's hand in mine.
"Thank you, Alan!" She turned to me and smiled.
I smiled back. we walked to the ticket booth and I handed over our tickets. We were let in.
"What do you want to do first?" I asked.
"Hmmm, A roller coaster." She answered.
****Later****
We had stayed till about 8.
"What do you want to do?" I asked.
"The ferris wheel."
We walked over to the the ferris wheel and waited in line. It was finally our turn and we sat down. It started to slowly turn and Ellis turned to me.
"Thank you so much Alan. Today was amazing." she told me.
"It was no problem. I'm just happy I got to spend today with you." I said, blushing.
We looked at each other silently as we both began to lean in. Our lips finally met in the middle. We kissed. Her lips were so soft and I wanted more. This is what I have been waiting for since the first day I met her. I cupped her face and pulled her in. We finally separated for air.
"That was amazing." She told me.
A dazzling smile appeared on her lips. I smiled back. We watched the sunset until the ferris wheel stopped. Then we walked back to the bus; hand in hand.
