The Last Snow: A Mother's Love

A Christmas Surprise Like No Other

Christmas Eve
7 pm -

“Hey, are you sure you don’t want to come to Pennsylvania with us? There’s plenty of room for one more.” Kuza asked me.

“I promise you I’m fine being alone for Christmas, but thanks for the offer.” I assured him.

“Alright, alright. You have a good couple of days, and we’ll just stop by then late on the 28th to come and pick you up on our way to Colorado.” Kuza told me.

“Sounds great, you guys have fun in PA.” I said.

“Thanks. Oh, and before I forget the mail is on the conference room table.” Kuza informed me.

I thanked him, and then watched as he got into the last car that was waiting and drove away from the house.

Now I had this whole house to myself for the next 3 and a half days.

It would be nice now and far more relaxing now that we were able to finish all of the training with the other bands.

We had a solid plan for, well...everything I guess.

Of course I wasn’t getting my hopes up to high, because I knew Bella was the wild card in the deck, whatever she did could always change our direct plan.

Perhaps that was one of the many reasons that I loved her, you could never predict what she was going to do next.

That made me think of the very first time I met her face to face.

I was so excited, yet in a funny way I was also extremely scared.

All I had really heard about her was that she was quite the little firecracker. She wasn’t even slightly trying to follow the rules, but they made sure to let me know that it only made her more dazzling.

I hadn’t seen a single picture of her, I just was given descriptions of her beautiful blue eyes, and luscious long and thick brown hair.

In all honesty I drove up to the house with Max that first day and expected to not really like Bella a lot, all I could imagine was the stereotypical irritating girl in her late teens.

When I first saw her though face to face, I somehow could just sense that this wasn’t going to be as black and grey as I imagined. She just didn’t fit my image of the irritating and bitchy type that I had prepared myself for.

She looked extremely shy on the outside, but once I was by myself with her I could easily tell that she was very smart, intuitive, charismatic, and of course beautiful.

All of that stuff made it impossible to still think that I could ever not like this girl, especially with that wit and passion.

As time went on, I was amazed at how much I found her surprising me.

The first time she really surprised me was when I was driving Escape the Fate’s bus after their crazy overnight party. Chris had let her onto our bus, and she made her way up into the passenger’s seat next to me.

I had very few experiences with her up till that point, and was a little confused as to why she seemed to take a liking to me. I wasn’t any more special than any of the other guys, and I hadn’t treated her any differently than they had.

That night now meant a lot to me, and I cherished it on a daily basis.

That was the night where I asked her such a simple question, a question that would turn into our favorite little game.

Who knew asking questions about each other could become such a meaningful and fun little game between two people.

Everyday that passed after that night we somehow continued to grow closer, even by the smallest means.

She was by far the purest human being I had and have ever met, she was my perfect example of an angel on Earth, an angel I frankly didn’t deserve in the slightest. None of us deserved her, but for some unknown reason she found me worthy of her trust and compassion.

“Fuck.” I grumbled, putting my hands in my head.

“I need you too Bella, I need you too.” I groaned, hopping out of the chair I was sitting in, now not being able to get her out of my head.

The last time I spoke to her was almost two and a half months ago when she called me on my cellphone to ask me to assure her that Bianca would be safe. Which I of course then told her the truth and promised her that we had a safe plan for Bianca, and that she’d be perfectly fine.

That’s when she also ended the call by telling me she needed me, crying, and then hanging up.

Talk about getting your heart ripped out, that would do it.

I decided to not call her since for two reasons. One, I didn’t want to further upset her, and secondly, I wasn’t sure that would go over so swell with the others.

However, while I didn’t talk to her, I felt compelled to do something for her.

That’s when I got the idea to do something for Bianca, in order to prove to Bella that I’m just as worried about keeping her daughter safe as I’m worried about keeping her safe and happy.

So I went out to tons of baby stores, and scavenged to find the most meaningful Christmas gifts that I could send to Bella for Bianca.

I sent them, and the second I did I wished I could take them back.

The last thing I wanted was for Bella to get upset with me for interfering with her and her daughter.

I walked into the kitchen, poured myself a drink, and proceed to head upstairs to my room. At this point I would just go to sleep super early and then deal with tomorrow when it comes.

On my way up to my room I made my way past the conference room. I might as well make sure there was nothing important I needed to worry about.

There was of course the usual bout of fan mail, and random catalogs, but there was one letter on the bottom that caught my attention.

It was a bright blue envelope with my name hand written on it, there was no postage, no return address, but I still knew who it was from. That handwriting was beyond recognizable.

I ripped it open in anticipation and read it as fast as I could - excited yet nervous to find out whatever it had written inside.

It read ~

Dear Tyler,

I just wanted to thank you for everything you sent to Bianca and I. You in no way, shape, or form had to do something like that, it’s beyond thoughtful, and I really mean that. She’s absolutely obsessed with her Nemo activity gym, and at night her cloud mobile gets her to sleep faster than I ever could. Just saying thank you doesn’t do you enough justice, but for now that’s all I can really do. I hope you’re doing well, and have a Merry Christmas.

Warm Regards,
Bella

And just like that I knew I couldn’t just go up and go to bed.

I had to reach out to her.

I needed to.

Making my way back to the kitchen I grabbed my phone and dialed Bella’s number.

It rang, and rang for a good minute until it finally gave me her voicemail.

“Hi this is Bella, I’m currently away from the phone right now. Please leave a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.” The voicemail said.

I ended the call, and redialed once more.

This time it rang 3 times and then the call ended, she had hung up.

I told myself to give it one last try, and this time, for some reason it answered right away.

“Oh thank goodness you answered.” I sighed.

I was so excited to hear her voice, but I was puzzled as to when I got no response.

“Bella?” I asked.

Nothing.

I pulled my phone away from my ear to make sure the call was actually connected and it was.

Was this her pulling a joke on me?

“Bells, are you there?” I questioned.

All of a sudden I heard one of the cutest noises in the world.

A simple little high pitched giggle.

That wasn’t Bella’s laugh...that was the laugh of a little innocent baby.

“Did you answer your mama's phone?” I chuckled.

Suddenly there was another voice in the room.

“What do you have little monkey?” Bella asked, her voice becoming louder and clearer with every word.

As cliche as it might be, just hearing that sweet voice gave me butterflies in my stomach.

“Oh no, no, no.” She groaned.

“Hello?” Bella answered, no obviously using the phone herself.

“It’s just me, Bella.” I assured her.

“Tyler! Sorry that she got to the phone before me.” Bella giggled.

“What in the world were you doing that let her answer it first?” I wondered.

“Making coffee to drink so that I’d be able to be awake enough to stop her from doing things like answering my phone.” She chuckled.

“Ahhh, that makes much more sense.” I laughed with her.

“So not to cut to the chase or anything, but why are you calling?” Bella questioned me.

“I got your card, and to be honest I hated how our last conversation ended….and I miss you to be painfully honest.” I admitted.

Silence hushed over the line for a good two minutes.

“I miss you too.” She sighed, obviously pained.

“I’m nothing special, there’s no need to cry over me.” I cooed to her.

“Don’t say that. You know what you mean to me.” She grumbled back.

She was right, I did.

I still couldn’t understand why she dare I say actually loved me, but I wasn’t complaining.

Her connection to me was the most precious thing I had.

I wanted to change the subject to something a little bit happier.

“So what is Santa bringing the two Noel girls tomorrow?” I asked.

“Nothing, actually. I haven’t been able to go shopping lately, and I won’t even have company tomorrow as the people I’m staying with are out of town.” She told me.

“What? You and Bianca are going to be alone on Christmas?” I exclaimed.

“Yeah, but aren’t you too?” She wondered.

“Why would you say that?” I questioned her right back.

“Because you’re talking to me like we talk face to face. When the others are around you, you’re far more serious.” She told me.

“Ok, I understand. It’s different though, I’m a grown man. You out of all people should know as well that it’s nice to get a little peace and quiet from everyone around here.” I chuckled.

“Yeah, that’s very true.” She agreed with me.

“What are you thinking about?” I asked her, knowing there must be something of interest going on in her mind.

“Promise you won’t laugh?” She said.

“You have my word.” I assured her.

“I was just thinking how nice it would be if I could just run away with you and Bianca. I know that could never happen though, but it’s still a nice thought.” She admitted to me.

“It absolutely is.” I told her, a light bulb going off in my head.

“Hey Bella, I just realized that I forgot to send you your gift. Let me go and get that set up and shipped out to you. I’ll give you a call when it’s there, ok?” I said to her.

“No, no, no, it’s okay. I needed this, I needed to talk to you. Please don’t go.” She cried.

“Do you trust me, Bella?” I asked.

“Yeah.” She sighed.

“I promise you it’ll be worth it. I’ll call you when it gets there, ok?” I told her.

“Alright, if I don’t answer I’m either putting Bianca down or sleeping.” She grumbled, and then hung up the phone.

I hated kind of ruining her super happy mood, but I had the best idea to make it up to her.

I just had to make one little phone call.

Thankfully this person answered right away.

“Hey, what’s up?” Chris asked, answering his phone.

“I have a bit of a favor to ask you…..”

Bella’s POV -
(3 Hours Later)

It was now approaching 10 pm, and there had been no other calls or even texts back from Tyler.

That fucking sucked to say the least.

There was no way to describe just how overjoyed I had been when he called, and how crushed I was when he hung up.

He should no that the only true gift I needed was him, not whatever he was planning to ship out to me.

About an hour ago Bianca had gone down in her crib, which left me waiting for a call on the couch with a mug full of hot cocoa.

To say that I was shocked when I got those presents to Bianca from him was an understatement, and I was floored when he called.

What was throwing me for a loop though was how suddenly he shut off the phone.

Who knows, though. I couldn’t give myself an anxiety attack trying to figure out what he was doing.

I managed to make a few more hours pass by as I watched reruns of old Christmas movies. The classics that my mom raised me to watch every Christmas, and the ones that I could only hope and dream Bianca would learn to love one day as well.

I finally reached that time of night where I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open. I needed sleep, even though I was still awaiting some sort of response back from Tyler.

As soon as I put my mug in the dishwasher I went to my bedroom, and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was completely out.

[6 Hours Later - 8 am]

‘Beep, Beep, Beep’

“Oh fuck,” I groaned, waking up to the irritating sound of my alarm clock.

Six hours of sleep was simply not enough to help me fully function.

Today would be interesting.

I went to check on Bianca, and saw that she was still peacefully sleeping.

Great, now I could really start my Christmas day all by myself.

When I walked past my room; I suddenly remembered last night and talking to Tyler.

I had to check my phone, which I had left on the kitchen counter.

As I got closer to the kitchen, I realized something was very off.

The smell of coffee was beyond noticeable, and there was a low light coming from the living room which was directly next to the kitchen.

Kylie and Gaia were going to be gone until the 27th…..who the hell was in the house with Bianca and I.

Slowly I took baby step by baby step so that I was quiet enough that I could go unnoticed.

TiI finally got to the end of the wall.

Taking one last deep breath in to calm myself, I carefully peeked around the corner to see who I was up against.

My heart stopped the second I saw him.

Holy shit, he was here.

“Tyler!” I screamed, running full speed ahead to get to him.

“Well hey there, it’s funny seeing you here.” He chuckled, as jumped into his arms and wrapped my arms around him tight.

“You...you’re here.” I cried, having a really hard time believing that this was happening.

There was so many emotions going on in my head at the moment, I just started bawling my eyes out as we both held each other close.

“Shhh, you’re okay, Bella, you’re okay.” He cooed, rubbing my back.

Time just seemed to stop as I continued to just cry into his shirt.

There were tears of joy, relief, disbelief, and even a few of sadness from the unknown events that were in the future for Bianca and I.

Seeing Tyler right there in front of me , pushed all of those emotions to center stage.

“Sorry.” I whispered, finally taking a tiny step back.

“Don’t apologize, you did nothing wrong.” He assured me, smiling down at me.

Looking into those deep blue eyes helped me calm myself down.

“This is the only gift I needed.” I told him.

“I’m so glad to hear that.” He cheered.

“I do have a question though...how the hell did you convince everyone else to let you come here?” I wondered.

“That’s a long story, I’ll save it for later tonight after we’ve had a glass or two of wine.” He chuckled.

“Deal.” I agreed.

Suddenly Bianca decided to join our conversation as she started crying from her room.

I quickly made my way to her room.

“Good morning, precious.” I cooed.

Her crying ceased and she smiled back up at me as she saw my face peek over the crib.

I got her out of her crib and made our way back into the living room.

“Someone else wanted to say hello.” I told him, coming back into the room with her in my arms.

“Well hello there, little elf.” Tyler cooed.

He walked over to me and gently rubbed Bianca’s back.

“Yeah, that’s Tyler. Do you remember him?” I whispered to her.

She cooed and let out a happy high pitched cry.

Bianca stretched her cute little arms out to Tyler.

“Are you ok if I hold her?” He asked me.

“Of course, just be careful of your hair, she likes to pull it.” I warned him.

She just about jumped into his hands as soon as I got close enough to hand her off.

“Can you handle her while I go get her breakfast ready?” I asked.

“Absolutely.” He said.

“Thanks.” I thanked him, and went to the kitchen to get her a bottle, and get her actual breakfast ready for in an hour or so.

I couldn’t help but periodically peek over at Tyler to see how they were doing.

Amazing was an understatement.

“You were much smaller 7 and a half months ago, little one.” He cooed.

“She’s growing big and strong. She should be with how much she eats and plays.” I chuckled.

“That’s good! I don’t know how you do it Bells, I really don’t.” He said, shaking his head.

“Do what?” I wondered, stopping in my tracks.

“Everything to begin with, but I mainly meant how good of a job you’ve done with her so far, all things considered. She’s clearly a very healthy and happy baby.” He told me.

“I’m glad someone thinks I’m doing a good job.” I sighed.

“Are you kidding me Bella, you really don’t agree with me on that? Why not?” He asked, perplexed.

“I think it’s pretty obvious.” I said.

“Bella….” Tyler started to say.

“Please just stop. If we keep talking about that I’m going to really cry and I won’t be able to stop this time. So just drop it.” I pleaded.

“Ok.” He sighed.

I finished shaking her bottle all up, then got Bianca from him and got her strapped in.

She was now strong enough to hold her own bottle and be able to drink it all on her own, so I held it out for her to grab. Of course, I had to still watch her closely to make sure she was still alright with it.

With no problem at all she finished her bottle, and just as a surprise finale, she chucked the bottle to the floor.

“Alright, Miss Sassy.” I giggled, picking it up and giving her cute little feet a tickle.

She giggled loudly and squirmed.

“Hmm, you know what I’ve always wondered?” Tyler asked me, coming and walking up directly behind me.

“What?” I wondered.

“If you’re ticklish.” He said, grabbing onto my waist and tickling me.

“No, no, no!” I squealed, trying to worm my way out of his grip.

“Is that a yes?” He chuckled.

“Stop!” I giggled, dropping down to the floor in both a laughing fit, and the fact that I was trying to get his hands away from my waist.

I was what most would say really damn ticklish.

“I guess that’s a yes.” He laughed.

I looked up and Bianca was just in a complete and total fit of laughter. I’ve never to this day seen her laugh that hard.

“Was that silly or what, little one?” I giggled, taking Tyler’s hand to help get me back on my two feet.

One big giggle, I’d take that as a yes.

Tyler came up behind me, wrapped his arms around me and then leaned down so his lips were right next to my ear.

“See? You’re doing perfect.” He whispered.

“Ok.” I said, letting him just have that one.

“Hey, do you mind going into my bedroom which is the last one down that hallway and bringing me her little jumparoo?” I asked him.

He nodded his head and went to go fetch that for us.

As soon as he was out of ear shot, I leaned down and picked her up from the high chair.

“Listen little one, Tyler’s a good guy, ok? He’s always helped mama , and he’ll do the same for you. Be nice to him when he’s here, and hopefully one day we’ll all be able to he together again.” I whispered to her.

A girl could dream, couldn’t she.

“One jumparoo.” Tyler stated, carrying it back into the room and setting it down in between the living room and kitchen.

I thanked him, and then got her situated in it.

Instantly she started bouncing like the little monkey that she was.

Grabbing Tyler’s hand, I pulled him with me so that we were both sitting on the couch next to each other.

“Please tell me that you’re going to stay the whole day.” I begged him.

“I don’t have technically have to leave until the morning of the 27th. In case I overstay my welcome though, I can always leave earlier.” He answered.

“Oh no, you’re staying with me.” I playfully growled, interlacing my fingers into his.

“You’re not being shy with me at all, are you?” He stated.

“No. When I first got out with her I tried to convince myself that I hated all of you. Then I realized that I had true feelings for you, so I tried to convince myself that it was stockholm syndrome. Then I realized that I was bullshitting myself, and that I truly liked you.” I explained.

“Like me, or like like me?” He asked, resting his head on my shoulder.

“You’re something else, Burgess.” I giggled.

“You love me.” He cooed, in a taunting voice.

I rolled my eyes, he was something else, in a good way of course.

“You love me too.” I told him.

“Abso-fucking-lutely.” He whispered.

“You’re going to help me really descent into madness.” I groaned.

“Come down the rabbit hole with me.” He chuckled.

“I will, right after you help me in the kitchen.” I told him.

I got up and he was quick to follow me into the kitchen. I got out the ingredients for her breakfast, blueberries, apples, and peaches.

“If you don’t mind by helping with her meal, there’s a blender underneath the sink, and if you could just cut those up and blend them together. I’ll try to see what I can make for our Christmas meal with what little food we’ve got in the fridge and pantry.” I said.

He agreed and we both set out for our little tasks, however I instantly knew something was off.

Our fridge was stocked full with fresh ingredients to make the perfect 2 person Christmas dinner, and there just so happened to be my favorite bottle of wine as well on the bottom shelf.

“You’re the best, thank you.” I said, giving him one more quick hug.

“It’s not Christmas without a nice a nice dinner.” He told me.

Once he got Bianca’s fruit pureed up, I showed him a little glass container, and he helped me get it all stored up in the fridge.

I managed to get a pretty good idea of what I was going to make for our dinner, but Tyler stopped me as I went to start preparing it.

“Don’t do that yet, come and relax. We can worry about that later, when she’s down for the night.” Tyler told me.

I sighed, he was right.

We each got ourselves a mug of peppermint hot cocoa, went back over to Bianca, turned on even more Christmas movies that were playing and just basked in all of us being together on Christmas.

Intense rounds of peek-a-boo were played, and we let Bianca jump, crawl, and bounce her way to one nice long nap around 1 pm.

Tyler and I took that time to get the main parts of our dinner set up, and ready to throw in the oven when I would go and put Bianca down at 6:30, Tyler would start getting our meal in the oven.

When I woke her up, I saw that Tyler was fast asleep on the couch. I was amazed he made it this long, considering that he must have drove almost all night long to get here this morning.

The last hours of the afternoon quickly faded, and before I knew it Tyler was once a gain up and putting everything in the oven, and I was putting Bianca in her pajamas.

“Time to go to bed, love.” I whispered, gently rocking her in my arms as we sat in the rocking chair.

Her beautiful eyes slowly started to close as she was rocked to sleep.

Only when I was fully sure that she was asleep did I lay her down in her crib, slip her small stuffed bear next to her, and then turned on her mobile, and slowly made my way out of her room, back to Tyler in the kitchen.

“Oh my gosh.” I gasped, seeing the beautiful set up he had ready for me.

The lights were dimmed, and the table was lined with lit candles. He had my favorite bottle of wine opened on the table with two wine glasses on the table, that plates were set, and it just looked perfect.

“Come sit, love.” He cooed, pulling out the chair closest to me.

I silently sat down, and he pushed me up to the table, and then sat down across from me.

“This is beautiful and perfect.” I said.

“It’s seriously the least I could do.” He told me, pouring me some wine.

I smiled and raised my glass.

“Cheers.”

“Cheers.”

I took a sip of the wine, and a smile lit up on my face.

This was nice.

Not only was he great at setting up a room, but he could cook like a pro, dinner was fabulous.

“So, I’ve got a question.” I stated.

“Shoot.” He replied.

“What’s your favorite movie?” I giggled.

A huge smile stretched across his face, as he took a sip of the wine.

“Why don’t you tell me?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

“The Lost Boys.” I answered.

“What’s my favorite beer?” He tested me.

“That’s a trick question, you believe all beers are created equal.” I said.

“You’re good, Noel. You’re good.” He replied, shaking his head playfully.

I chuckled along with him, and went to pour myself another glass of wine.

Shoot- it was empty.

“Are you still up for a few more drinks?” I wondered.

“Of course. Do you know any good ones?” He asked.

“Do I ever.” I exclaimed.

“Ok, you work on that and I’ll get the dishes.” He said.

I let him start on that, and I thought about some of the more fun drinks I knew how to make.

Then it came to me.

I jumped up onto the counter to reach the liquor cabinet and pulled out blue curacao, citrus vodka, and peach schnapps.

I topped the drink off with some sprite, and threw in a few slices of lemon.

Tyler anxiously grabbed his and took a sip.

“Do you like it?” I asked, sitting back down on the counter.

“It’s amazing Bells, strong, but still good.” He told me.

“Sex in the driveway isn’t sex in the driveway if it isn’t strong.” I giggled.

“Excuse me?” He choked.

“Calm down, it’s just the name of the drink.” I explained.

“Ohhh, that makes so much more sense.” He said.

We laughed about it as we finished our drinks.

This was already marking drink number 3, as we each had two glasses of the wine.

“You’re turn to make the drink.” I said.

“I don’t think I can stack up to yours.” He muttered, browsing through the liquor cabinet.

He took his time, pulling down almost all of the bottles to weight his options….and then his phone rang.

It was sitting right next to me, so before he could grab it, I got it and ran to the other side of the kitchen with it.

I looked at the screen, it was Danny calling.

My stomach twisted and I felt sick. There was that kick back to reality. Took much longer to occur than I expected.

“It’s ok, Bells.” He whispered, seeing my reaction.

I slid the phone over to him.

“Hey, do you have some time to talk?” Danny answered, and I could clearly hear him as Tyler had put it on speaker.

“Sort of. I don’t know if Chris told you or not, but I’m spending today with Bella and she’s right here, just so you know.” Tyler answered.

“No I didn’t hear that, but hello love.” Danny cooed.

I rolled my eyes.

“Easy.” Tyler warned him, knowing that I wasn’t exactly team Danny.

“Alright, alright. Anyways, I was just calling to let you know what we were able to accomplish in the new place, and what you guys should start off with when you get there. Also, Ronnie told me that you have all of the important documents, so if you could email me those.” Danny requested.

“That sounds fine.” Tyler said.

“Great, you two love birds have fun.” Danny cooed, hanging up.

“New place?” I questioned him.

“Let’s not talk about that tonight, we can deal with it tomorrow.” He suggested, not wanting to ruin the mood of the night.

“Deal.” I agreed.

I tried to shake it off as Tyler got back to making a drink.

He pulled out some mango and pineapple rum as well as pineapple juice.

“Here’s your beachside bonfire.” He cooed, handing me the drink that was incredibly beautiful.

Tyler had actually garnished the glasses and rolled the rim in brown sugar.

“This is absolutely delicious, Tyler.” I said.

“Thank you. Enjoy though, because it’s your last one of the night.” He chuckled.

“We’ll see.” I taunted him.

“No, you will.” He playfully growled.

Tyler joined me up on the counter and we finished our drinks in a comforting silence. One where we were just enjoying each other’s company.

All of a sudden the alcohol caught up with me. My head was spinning and I felt like I was going to faint.

“Oh fuck!” He exclaimed, quickly jumping down and grabbing me by the waist before I fell forwards and down onto the floor.

“I think I need to go to bed and sleep this off.” I whispered.

“I’m going to agree with you on this one, Ms. lightweight.” He laughed, throwing me up over his shoulder and taking me to my room.

When we got there he gently slid me under my covers, and respectfully helped me dispose of my shirt and pants so that I was in just my bra and underwear, also known as my pajamas.

He gave me a gentle kiss on the forehead, made one more quick joke about how quickly the liquor got to me, and went to exit the room.

“Where are you going?” I asked.

“To sleep on the couch.” He said.

I shook my head.

“Come here.” I whispered, patting the space next to me.

“No Bella, it’s ok. I promise.” He replied.

“Tyler, we’ve had sex many times before. Just get your butt in here already.” She softly snickered.

“Yes ma’am.” He laughed, walking back towards the bed, tossing his pants and shirt on top of mine.

Now he was simply in a black pair of boxer briefs.

Tyler snuck under the covers next to me, and considering that I was in a full bed we were already very close to each other.

We both were facing each other, and I couldn’t look away from his smiling face, and those dazzling blue eyes.

“Tyler.” I whispered.

“Yes?” He asked, gently running the backside of his hand across my cheek.

“Please still be here when I wake up.”

“You have my word.” He promised me.

Hearing that I was able to relax, and focus on actually getting to sleep. I turned around so that my back was pressed against his chest, and was pleasantly surprised as he snuck his arms around me and pulled me even closer to him in a very protective manner.

I smiled into the darkness.

This was the Christmas gift of my dreams.

Notes

I hope you guys enjoy this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it!

It took a little bit longer, but considering it's the longest chapter I've ever written, it makes sense.

I decided to have it so long because honestly I adore writing scenes between Tyler and Bella.

Do you think that Tyler and Bella will be able to keep a relationship up like this, if the guys' plan actually works?
