This Town

Saint Riesling was an unhappy woman. She had a family who cared for her, but her own demons got the better of her. She tried to kill herself four times before her family decided that it was time for Saint to get help. She of course wasn't going to go willingly. Her aunt pulled a few strings and was able to get Saint admitted into one of the top mental hospitals in California. She was a patient at the mental hospital for six years before she was deemed stable enough to be discharged.

Austin Carlile was a happy man. He had a successful career that gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world, best friends he got to share those experiences with, a beautiful wife whom he had been married to for five years, and a daughter who was the center of his world. While Austin was on tour in Europe his house was broken into and his wife and daughter ended up being collateral damage. Cancelling the last half of tour, Austin and his friends flew home but there was nothing he could do. They were long gone by the time he even got on the plane.

Saint is a spitting image of Austin's late wife. When he runs into her at the store he mistakes her for his wife but immediately finds that Saint is an entirely different person. But Austin is determined to have Saint in his life even if it's for all the wrong reasons. He's also determined to keep his intentions a secret from Saint. Saint, however, is determined to keep Austin at arms length.
