Selfish Machines

The date, my date with Vic is tonight. Im so nervous and excited, the butterflies fluttering in my stomach won't stop. I have no idea what to wear, it's times like this I wish I had friends that were girls so I can call them and ask them what to wear. Jaime will have to do I guess, surprisingly he has a good fashion sense for a dude... Even better than me.

I picked up my phone and quickly dialled Jaime's number, I waited for him to pick up. After a few rings I gave up and sighed of course the one time I need him he's busy.

Just as I was about to try him again my phone started ringing and a picture me and Jaime popped up. That was the day we all went to the beach and had a water gun fight, me, Jaime, Vic and Mike it was one of the best days of my life. I sighed thinking back to that day, I missed days like those.

"Hey did you call?" Jaime answer groggily

"Hey Hime-time! Yeah I did, did you just wake up?" I asked confused because it was 5:30 pm

"Yeah I did"

"Haha why? It's like 5:30" I said laughing

"I had a rough night all right?"

"Those two were a handful huh?" I laughed then stopped when the image of a naked Jaime and two girls popped into my head

"How did you know?!" Jaime asked sounding freaked out

"I accidentally walked in on the three of you sleeping in the morning... Hash tag scarred for life"

"No scarred for life is hearing you and Mike all night!" Jaime said

"Were we really that loud?" I asked embarrassed

"I was downstairs and everyone could hear you two! Oh Mike oh Spencer harder faster!" Jaime laughed mimicking us

"Fuck!" I said

"Yeah you said that too!" Jaime laughed harder

"Fuck you!"

"Anyway what did you want" Jaime asked once he stopped laughing

"I need your help I have a date tonight and I have no idea what to wear" I sighed

"Ooo is Mr. Fuentes taking you out on a date?"

"Yeah he is" I said because technically Vic is a Mr. Fuentes

"I didn't think Mike was a date type of guy"

"He isn't, I'm going with Vic" I said

"Oh shit"

"Yeah" I said awkwardly

"Why don't you wear your white legging tights type things and your black and flower print dress"

"Thanks jaime!" I said before getting dressed, I knew exactly what he was talking about. I only had two dresses because they weren't exactly my style but I liked this one and it fit perfectly.

After getting dressed, doing my make up and doing my hair (which I slightly curled doing beach waves) I was finally ready. Vic told me to be ready my 6:30 and it was already 6:25. I quickly sprayed some of my vanilla body mist then grabbed a beanie (because I had to ass my own personal touch to this outfit) then ran down stairs.

"Ooo your 2 minutes early" Vic said leaning against the door to go out side of the house. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a white shirt and cute suspenders.

"Well don't you look spiffy" I said looking him up and down one more time trying to memorize every detail.

"And you look beautiful" he said grabbing my hand and leading me out the door. He opened the car door for me then ran around to his side and hopped in. He turned the car on and pulled out of the drive way.

"So where are we going?" I asked as we drove down the road hand in hand.

"It's a surprise" Vic said quickly turning towards me to smile then looking back at the road.
