Unwanted

The Dancing Barista

*Chris’ POV*
I looked around the venue we were playing in as we played our final song of the entire tour. Time had passed by so quickly, it’s crazy to think that this is tour is almost completely over. We ran off stage after we played Reincarnate, it’s always a great song to end on, fans seem to love it. I passed my mic to the crew and pulled a bottle of water from the new twelve pack beside me. I unscrewed the cap and took a sip but not long after I started laughing. Ricky looked up at me from where he was sitting.

“What’s so funny?”

“I’m just laughing because I remembered the fans reactions to my throwing a watter bottle into the crowd, I’m pretty sure I saw one girl bite someone’s hand in order to get to the bottle I had drank from.”

“Some of them are a bit crazy I swear, the way some of them scream when you hold their hand whilst performing is just amusing.”

When Rick said this I flicked my hair and spoke

“Well, it’s not every day they get touched by someone as sassy as me.”

“You’re so full of yourself sometimes Chris.” he laughed

I screwed the cap on the bottle of water before letting out a sigh. I should probably help sort out all of the kit and help pack it away. I mean, there is a tech crew but I can’t expect them to do everything.

After about an hour or so, the venue was quiet. We walked out of the venue to see a girl leaning against the side of our tourbus.

“Could you...Could you guys sign this for me?”
I smiled at her, she was a shy blonde girl. She was pretty cute in all honesty, just not my type.
I took the poster from her hands and quickly signed it before passing it onto Ghost. When Ryan had signed the poster, he handed it back to the blonde girl. She said a quick thank you before walking around the corner.

The guys piled onto the tourbus and I took my place in the drivers seat, it was only a short drive back to PA but I’d have to stop off at a coffee shop when we got back if I was going to stay awake long enough to take the bus back to it’s destination.

I soon reached the outskirts of PA and I was desperately searching for a coffee shop. The guys had all fallen asleep about an hour ago and I didn’t want to wake them by using the coffee machine that we had.

Fucking finally!

I saw lights on in a Starbucks just across the road. I parked the bus on the side of the road and did not hesitate to run into the coffee shop.

The shop was dead but it was four am. Why was this place even open at such an early hour?
I saw a girl wiping over a table in the corner, gently swaying her hips to the beat of a song. I stood there in the doorway just staring at her ass. The pencil skirt she wore hugged her hips and was so short I could nearly see her ass as she bent over to wipe the far edge of the table. Oh the things I could do to that perfect ass of hers...

I was zoning out, the way her hips swayed was absolutely mesmerising.
The girl turned round and screamed. Welp, that brought me back to reality.

“Oh shit , sorry to scare you miss. I was just wondering if I could order a drink?”

Her gaze dropped to the floor and she began making her way behind the counter. She shuffled around silently. As she passed the machine she flicked the switch turning it on.
I approached the counter and she spoke in a voice so quiet, it was barely audible

“What can I get you, sir?”

Not once did she make eye contact

“Just a large cappuccino to take out please, miss.”

She nodded and I laid the money on the counter. Not once did she speak. Instead she turned around and began to make the drink. She moved around the small kitchen are so fluidly and gracefully that it was almost like a dance.

“So, why are you still up running this place at such early hours of the morning?” I asked, curious .

No response.

I sighed and walked over to the window ledge, she seemed too shy to answer.
I sat watching as she danced around the kitchen. This girl, the dancing barista, was beautiful yet so shy and mysterious. I wish she would look at me, her eyes are probably as beautiful as she is.
Are they a deep blue resembling the sea?
Are they brown orbs that I could get lost in?
Are they green like the grass?

Her hair was grey and waist-length.
She was almost my height.
She was thin but curvy, she had an hourglass shape to her body.

She was simply... extraordinary.

Without me noticing, she had walked over to where I was sitting and was holding my large cappuccino. I smiled at her and took the cup from her hands. I stood up ready to leave but first, I took a twenty dollar bill and handed it to her.

Before she could object, not that she would, I had walked to the door and held it.

“I will see you around, my beautiful dancing barista.”
