Left For Dead

Vanna-
Alex Gee: I'll bring the cake. You got everything else set?
Me: Sleeping is bringing stuff, I think Pierce got food, and I have presents.
Alex Gee: sounds perfect, smurf. See you at your set.
I slide on my outfit(link) and smile at my reflection as I put my hair in a ponytail.
“Where's Echo?” Kevin asks, peeking in the open bathroom. I point to the bunks and we walk back, where the birthday girl was asleep. I look at Kevin and count to three before we blew the horn and yelled.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ECHO!” she groaned, throwing me a pillow. I caught it and laugh
“Baby! Come on! It's your birthday., and we have a set to play in a few hours, so get your butt ready!” I smack her legs and she jolts up, and gives me a death glare. I shove a present at her and she looks at it with wide eyes.
“Well it isn't going to open itself.” Ally said, entering the bunk area. Echo sits up and slowly tears the white gift-wrapping paper. It was a little box, and she opened it.
“What's this?” She asks, holding out a small bracelet. I show her my arm and then Ally shows her necklace.
“We all have the same charm, the knot, it's like a promise to each other to never give up, a reminder that we’re here for you.” I explained and she smiled widely. “and since it's this band’s charm, and you're technically not leaving anywhere, it was time we gave you one.” Echo jumps from her bunk to the floor, where she gave Ally the bracelet and let her put it on her wrist. Echo hugs the both of us and smiles, wiping her eyes.
“Thanks.” I give her one last hug before demanding her to get ready. I walk outside to be greeted by nice weather for July.
“representing!” Tony yelled at he saw me, taking away my deep thoughts away. I give him a thumbs up and then he looks back in his bus and back at me, like if he was putting two pieces of a puzzle together. “That's cute!” He commented as he put them together. Vic, Mike and Jaime come out of the bus, closing the door behind them. I wave at them, and see that Jaime was wearing Left for Dead merch, I was shocked. I would have thought that Mike would be the one wearing the merch. I walk up to him, and he wraps around me, placing a kiss on my head.
“Hello.”
“Hi.” He looks at my shirt and smirks. “Like my shirt?”
“Love it.” He kisses my forehead and laughs, shaking his head as he looks over my head. “I think Shannon is going to kill me for holding you like this.” I look behind me and she just has a smile glued to her face.
“no, I think she's waiting on me to kill you.” He laughs and he lets me go. “see you later? You owe me a date.” He nods, giving me a kiss on the cheek and walking away. I feel a force from behind and laugh, as the ocean bracelet is on my eyesight. “Jealous?” I asked, teasing her a bit.
“not at all. In fact, me and the girls were talking fucking ship names and we have one for you.” I look at her, waiting for the name. “Janna” I laugh and roll my eyes.
“what's yours?” she begins to shake her body and I laugh at her silliness. “I'm guessing.. Shake?” She nods and grins widely. “Come one Shannon, we have a set, we can talk about this shake later.”

I look over at Alex and give him a wide smile before Ally stops the music.
“we have a birthday girrrlll.” I said into the microphone and pointed at my little white haired friend. “Sing with us. 1-2-3. Happy Birthday to you!” The crowd sang as Alex came out of the side stage, holding a small cake with the numbers 21. Echo smiles, slightly turning red and hiding her face behind her instrument. Shannon had already stepped off her drum set as we finished the song.
“MAKE A WISH!” the fans yelled in unison and Echo blows her candles.
“THANK YOU!” Ally yells as we step off the stage to enjoy cake. I grab a bit of frosting and place it on her nose. She glares at me and I put my hands up in defense. It was something I did to everybody on their birthday, I was nice enough NOT to push her head to the cake.

“Come on! It's your party, feel hot!”
“Vanna.” Echo warned as I put on some last minute retouches to her face.
I let out a frustrated groan, and wiping the extra black liquid I put. “Don't move!” I place a thin eyeliner on the eyelids of my friend and close the makeup. “There.” I flip her around and she looks at herself in awe. “You look different, smoking hot and ready to drink.” Echo giggles and I smile, squeezing her shoulders. “Vamos.” I grab her hand and we made our way to the front lounge where the others were waiting.

Walking to the bar, and asking for a few more beers, I walk back and give a beer to Echo,as we walk towards the small group of friends we were celebrating her special day. Last minute, Pierce couldn't get the food, so we decided to go to a nearby club, very small, yet effective. Echo was finally 21, it was a good place for her to drink.
“To Echo!” Alex yelled, putting his drink up, we follow his motions. “on her birthday. We love you little one.” we all cheered and took a gulp of our drinks.

Jaime’s arm was wrapped around my shoulder, Kellin and Mike were doing the same to Ally and Shannon as we all walked back, drunkenly, to the buses. Alex and Echo were running around, enjoying their night very drunk.
“Echo!” Echo sprints by us and Alex classes right after her. As we enter the venue, Echo jumped on the small benches and back off just to continue running. She laughed loudly and I knew she was out of it. Our Echo wasn't the one to laugh loudly. Vic laughs as he looks at Tony, I guess remembering stuff.
“ECHO, GET DOWN!” We looked at a tired Alex, looking at the roof of a bus. We all paused, and the band members from that bus comes out.
“Hey! What the hell?” Chris Motionless comes out and looks up. “Who's that?” he asked as he stared at the glimpse of white hair.
“Echo.”
“WHY ARE YOU ON THE ROOF?!” He yelled. Echo laughs. And looks down. My heart jumped, this girl was going to kill herself.
“Why aren't you on the roof?” Pierce laughs and Tony shakes his head.
“We have another Tony.” Mike yelled and they started to laugh again.
“Echo get down!” Alex demanded, sounding way sober.
“Party poooopppeerrr” She exclaimed and I shake my head, not believing this. She finally touched safe ground and smiles like nothing had happened. I know Ally was mad, but we were one: drunk and second: super tired, so we said nothing and continues to walk to the buses. All time Low went to theirs first, before we had to promise to take care of Echo, and then Sleeping, and finally Pierce. I give a small kiss to Jaime and walk inside my bus, closing the door.
“Where's the girl?” I ask Ally as she took off her shoes.
“Crashed. It's like instead of getting drunk. She gets a sugar high, she's freaking hilarious but never in my mind was I thinking she would climb a bus.”
“those Ally. Are stories to bug her with. Come on, let's go to bed.” Shannon said, yawning. We all walked to the bunks, laid down and in matter of seconds I was out


Ally's POV
“BEEP BEEP BEEP-”
“Ugh nooo it's Echo’s turn to go turn it off!” Vanna whined while getting up to turn our alarm off- after nearly half an hour of waiting. Echo hadn't even been startled or awaken by the alarm given she was a heavy sleeper. “She still sleeping.” I said covering my face with my pillow. “Hey Ally your boyfriend is here!” I heard Shannon yell from the kitchen. I sat up in my bunk almost immediately causing me to hit my head hard. I uttered an “ouch!” Before hearing “Same.” from Echo’s bunk. “I thought you were asleep.” I said to her. “No I just didn't want to get up.” She replied laughing a little. “You made me get up for nothing, you fucker.” Vanna said causing us to laugh at her.
“Bathroom is open now!” I heard Mike yell as he walked out making Echo, Vanna and I to jolt up and run towards it. Getting a turn in the bathroom was almost impossible in this bus. “No! You guys owe me, it's my turn first!” Vanna said pushing us off as she tried to shut the door on us. As we kept pushing Kevin yelled “Kids!” Causing us to stop what we were doing and look at him, he always used his sterned ‘dad’ voice when he wanted to get our attention. “Vanna go on.” Vanna then stuck her tongue at us and went in. “They're literally toddlers.” Mike said laughing at us. “You have no idea.” Kevin said rolling his eyes.
“Morning Ally.” Kellin said from the side couch while standing up. I hadn't seen or heard him, I thought Shannon was playing with me to get me to wake up. I looked to see him holding a small bouquet of flowers oh his hands. “It's for you, I saw them and thought I should give them to you.” He said, smiling and giving them to me. I looked down as a deep red blush crept into my cheeks. “AWWW!” I heard Shannon and Echo say from behind me. “Thank you, they're beautiful.” I said taking them. He looked at me up and down and chuckled. “And sorry you have to see me like this, I just woke up as you can see.” I said chuckling. I was wearing my Spider-Man onesie and my penguin slippers with my hair up in a really messy bun. “You look just fine.” He said taking my hand. “I'm just here to ask if you wanted to go out later after our set ?” He asked. “Of course.” I said giving him a smile. “Alright I'll see you then.” He said giving me a hug. “Bye guys!” He yelled while walking off the bus. Multiple ‘goodbyes’ were heard when he left.
Afterwards the girls, Mike and sometimes even Kevin wouldn't stop teasing me about the whole Kellin bringing me flowers thing. “Anyways, what's the schedule for today boss ?” I asked, changing the subject while putting the flowers in a small vase with water. “Well you girls will have a small meet and greet later and will perform a small acoustic show maybe do some song covers in one of the tents, and that's it. I thought we should switch it up for today.” He said, taking a small sip from his coffee cup. “Great.”
***after show***
We had just finished our acoustic set and small meet and greet so we basically had the rest of the day to ourselves now. “What are you guys doing for the rest of the day ?” I asked the girls while trying to put my hair in a side braid. “We're going to Pierce's bus to see that one new movie later.” Vanna answered. “Do you want to come ?” Echo asked while helping me with my braid giving I was struggling with it. “Ye-” “No, she cannot come, she has a date with Kellin.” Shannon interrupted me, emphasizing Kellin’s name. Vanna and Echo then began teasing me about it. “It's not even a date.” I said rolling my eyes. “Yes it is. C’mon he came all the way to you to ask you and then the flowers, it's a date.” Echo said while finishing my braid. “Well it could be., most likely.” Shannon said shrugging. “Well Trust me. I'm an expert, kinda.” Echo said. “Now Go change!”
As I finished getting ready, we heard a knock at the door. “Is it him ?” I asked, quickly hiding behind Vanna. “No you dummy it's Jaime and Mike.” Shannon replied, laughing while opening the door. As they came in, Mike went towards Shannon and picked her more shorter body up to give a hug. Jamie then did the same with Vanna while giving her a small kiss, making her blush slightly. “Mrs. Future Quinn, Kellin is waiting for you over there.” Mike said while pointing me towards the venue’s entrance. “Guys stop we're not even together.” I said rolling my eyes and giggling while looking for my phone so I could leave. “Yet.” Vanna said from the side. “And don't worry Echo, we told Alex and Jack to come give you company so you wouldn't feel so lonely there.” Jaime said. “Why thank you.” She said chuckling. “Found it!” I said as I grabbed my phone from the couch, smiling in victory. “Have fun!” and with that I left.
After a few minutes of searching, I found Kellin sitting and looking down at his phone. “Hey.” I said walking up to him. “Hey there.” He said while hugging me. “I want to show this small park nearby the guys and I saw it last night when we came in.” He said taking my hand. “Lead the way captain.”
Finally we found the park Kellin was talking about. It was small and isolated, with a few children and families running around. Nothing like the public parks we had back home. The sight was truly unexplainable. In the middle of it there was a small pond with a bench right next to it. I clung onto Kellin’s arm and dragged him with me towards it, making me feel as if we were children again.
“Thanks for coming.” He whispered, barely audible. “Why wouldn't I have ?” I asked, smiling at him. “I didn't think you would want to honestly.” He said chuckling. “Why would you think that ?” I asked him. “Just some things.” He answered laughing a bit. “So how was your day ?” He asked changing the subject. Afterwards we continued with our weird conversations.
“We should leave now it's getting kinda dark out now.” I said, standing up while checking the time in my phone. “Or we could stay.” He said wiggling his eyebrows. “Oh stop.” I giggled, pushing him away lightly. He stumbled back a bit dramatically just in perfect timing making him fall on his butt in the pond. “Help me up please!” He begged like a little kid. I walked up to him, laughing trying to help him up only to be pulled into the water with him. “Kellin no!” I screamed, laughing as I fell practically right on top of him. “Sorry, I'm clumsy sometimes.” He said giving me a smile, making my stomach tie itself in knots. I couldn't help but look at his eyes. Some might argue and say they were blue while others say they're green. In my opinion, I think it was a mixture of both.. Kinda like sea foam. I didn't realize we had been staring at each other for some time now. He began staring at my lips while leaning in. “Kellin..” I breathed, my hands up against his chest. He then kissed me. Simple as that.

“You did what !?” Echo asked, half shouting. “Shhhhhhh. I'll tell you later in the bus.” I whispered, giggling at her reaction. I at the moment was in Pierce's bus, Kellin had dropped me off here since he had to go with his band somewhere. We were all kinda sprawled around the bus’ tiny living room. Mike and Shannon were cuddling with a giant blanket taking up the spot on one of the couches there while Jaime and Vanna were on the other, leaving the rest of us laying on the floor. We were watching the scary movie of ‘Insidious’ but I was too busy thinking about what had happened earlier to even pay attention to it.
After the movie was over, they called it a night and we went back to our bus. As soon as our goodbyes were said. Shannon closed the door of the back lounge with Vanna, Echo and I in it inside. “Tell us everything.” She said taking a seat next to me. This was going to be a long night, I thought.
