Left For Dead

Vanna-
Letting out a sigh, I lay down on the grass away from everybody else and look at the cloudless sky, my hands on my stomach. I think about today. America’s Independence Day. I smile and think that maybe my brother is looking at the sky right now, thinking I was. I silently thank all those who have fought and are fighting for this country. Makes me a proud army sister.
“This spot taken?” Jaime asks as he points next to me. I look at him, his white shirt buttoned up, his khaki jeans, he looked nice. I shake my head and he lays right next to me, our hands slightly touching. Everybody was either talking or kind of dancing closer to the small fire we made for s'mores later on in the night. “Why aren't you with the rest?” he finally asked, breaking the small yet awkwardly comfortable silence.
“I wanted to walk, I got so full, and I need a small time away from everybody.” I explain and turning my head to face him. He was already looking at me, and our hands intertwine, his ring sends a shiver up my arm. He chuckles and looks at the goosebumps on my arm.
“Cold?” He teased. Asshole.
“No.” we stay silent, just looking at each other, our hands not moving from each other.
“VANNA! JAIME?!” someone yells, making our intense eye contact to break cause me to chuckle and he does as well, we both stand up and walk towards the place again, still hand in hand. “Stop the cuddling. We’re gonna play musical Chairs” Alex exclaimed, getting chairs in a giant circle. I roll my eyes and Jaime slowly wraps his arms around my waist, and lowering his head onto my shoulder. I look at Ally and she smiles so widely, I think her face could possibly break in half. I wink at her and she gives me the fave in which meant I had loads to tell her… again. I stare at her for a few seconds and chuckle.
“What?” Jaime asks and I nod towards Ally. I call at her again and then put my hands up on my head, mocking her bunny ears. she flips me off and I laugh, and so does Jaime.
“EASTER IS OVER ALLY!” I yell at her and she flips me off again. She loves me. Jaime laughs again, making my insides flip and flop.
“Jaime! Come help with the barbeque!” He let's me go and walks towards the handful of managers at the multiple grills to feed all of us, again. I skip towards Echo and slightly push her to a chair, Alex was close to. She gives me a glare and I smile sweetly at her
“You seem happy” Holden says, handing me a beer.
“We’re working on it” He nods and we begin to talk, my eyes wander to land on Jaime from time to time, as they try to avoid on how cute my best friend and her boyfriend was. Those two can not live without each other. Shannon looks at me and flips me off, in which I pretend it's a kiss and put it in my pocket. Mike laughs and they go back to their bubble. Loud music starts to play and we all see the variety of band members sit on the chairs. Jaime grabs a beer, and sits on one as well.
“WAIT!” Holden yells and walks towards the giant circle. Shannon and Ally sit down, making me stay with Jess and Mitchie, two merch girls I've gotten close too in the past hours. We all cheer them on and laughed as they struggled to find an empty chair. I sit back down on the bench, carefully not staining my white shorts and look clap, to get them motivated

“Here.” Kevin hands me a small little sparkle stick and lights it up. The small stick sparks to life, little sizzling sounds coming from it. I smile widely at it and take out my phone, taking a picture of it.
Happy Fourth Of July, America.
I post it on my facebook and walk towards the girls who were taking pictures. This was just the beginning to this party.


Ally's POV
“Give them back Vivi!!” I yelled desperately while chasing through the crowd and going after Vanna. I had decided to wear my bunny ears for the day and she had the bright idea to not only make fun of them but take them away from me. “Okay I'll stop…I'm tired of running.” She said out of breath while stopping near where Jaime was who at the moment was trying to get some ice from a little cooler nearby. “Hey Ally. And hello to you.” He said waving at me and then giving her a small kiss on the side of her cheek, making her blush slightly. I smiled at them happily, wiggling my eyes at Vanna while Jaime wasn't looking.
“Can I have them back now ?” I asked, trying to catch my breath and pouting like a little kid. “Here.” She handed them back laughing. I rolled my eyes and gave a death glare, while stomping away to let them two by themselves. “I love you!!” She half yelled from behind me, laughing and beginning to speak with Jaime.
I walked back to our table where most of the girls were sitting while most of the guys were either helping with the food or helping set up the fireworks for later. I looked down at my outfit and tried to fix it to make it look better from all that running. “You look like you just came from the gym, what were you doing ?” Shannon asked making the girls around the table laugh. “Vanna did it.” I said, trying to fix my hair. “Ohh.” She said chuckling and looking behind me, where Mike was standing. I laughed, she couldn't stay without looking at him for more than five minutes. Shortly afterwards I began to speak with Jenna from Tonight Alive who I had gotten along with very well in a matter of just a couple of minutes.

“Food is ready!!” Those were the magic words, boom. I then stood up and ran towards the food table trying to get something good. “BOO!” I heard people say from behind me while poking my back, making me jump up and spill my drink and some of my food on them. “Shit!” I heard and turned to see Kellin along with Justin. “Oh c’mon!”
“Sorry it's a natural reflex thing.” I said giggling while trying to help them clean up the mess. “Do we always have to meet up in a weird way ?” Kellin asked laughing. “Here.” Echo said while passing by, chuckling and giving them a couple of napkins while walking away with Alex and Jack. “Thanks!” They both said in unison while trying to dry their shirts from my drink. “I'm really sorry guys.” I said to them as they finished. “It's okay..well that was very fun. I'll see you guys later.” Justin said while walking away towards the bathroom nearby. “Alright.” I giggled and looked at Kellin who at the moment was trying to clean to yellow stain on his white shirt. I put my hand over his, “I don't think that will help, it'll only make it worse.” I said looking at him, chuckling. “Well I tried.” He said shrugging.
Afterwards he and I got another plate of food and walked back to the table to eat. We sat down next to Mike and was later joined by Shannon who sat in his lap. After a few minutes of sitting there they began trying to tell us a funny story about something that had happened earlier to them but they couldn't since they kept laughing every two seconds. “They're drunk.” I said to Kellin. “Yup”
“I would like to give a toast!” I heard one of the managers say. Everyone then stood up along with him, and held up their cups/drinks. “Here goes to an amazing warped tour, it's been the best one yet.” He said, drinking. We all nodded in agreement, and took a sip of our drinks.
**after feast**
“All the food I ate makes me want to go run a mile.” I said while sitting back in my chair. I had finished two big plates full of food and drank at least four cups of lemonade. “I'm turning into Vanna!” I exclaimed while rubbing my hands in my stomach. Vanna looked at me and stuck her tongue out at me earning a few laughs from the people around us. After a few minutes people were beginning to stand up and walking towards the more secluded area around us where the fireworks were being held.
I stood up and walked towards Echo. “Yay It's time for the fireworks!” I said jumping up and down in front of her, grabbing her hand and taking her away from Alex and the rest of ATL for her to come with me. “Heyyyy come back!!” I heard Alex and the rest say. We ignored them and ran through the crowd of people like children making them look at us weirdly while others just laughed.
As we arrived to the little spot we all sat down in some blankets they had on the ground. Alex catched up to us and sat next to Echo while Kellin came and sat next to me. “Hey again.” I smiled at him and laid down, this is what I needed for now. He did the same and we began talking and looking up at the sky which was filled with countless stars. We stood back up again as people began giving away those sparkle sizzlers sticks again, and we began waving them around. We heard the fireworks go off making people around start cheering, laughing and start drinking again. I looked up to see the beautiful view of fireworks in the sky, all different colors, making out different designs.
“HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!” Everyone yelled while hugging each other. We stood up and gave the people around us hugs. I looked to my right and saw Mike smile and put his hands around Shannon’s waist, giving her a kiss. Jaime and Vanna hugged each other and I could've sworn did the same. Alex and Echo hugged as well, I was kinda hoping for another kiss to happen but oh well, it'll happen soon I thought. Kellin then snaked his arms around my waist, hugging me and making me blush into his shirt. He smelled like a mixture of cologne and hair products with a hint of lemonade from earlier…not to be a weird person sniffer. I pulled away and smiled at him. “Nothing can get better than this.”
