Left For Dead

Vanna-
“Has anyone seen my phone?” I ask around as I search anxiously in my bunk. There's a small knock and I look up to see Kevin holding my phone in his hand. I smile and he hands to me.
“You left it in the front last night, Vanna. Don't be so forgetful.” I roll my eyes and walk to the main lounge where the girls were sitting. San Antonio, Texas greeted us with a lot of heat. All our of hair was in a ponytail or bun, summer clothes on and a water bottle in a hand reach. Never did it get this hot back home, I feel like I'm going to melt.
“Alright, let's go.” Kevin said as he grabbed a water bottle from the cooler. We follow him out the bus and he went his own way and we went ours. The heat waves were visible as the sand covered place was empty except for the tents and crew members walking around. I'm glad I packed some sun screen, I don't want a big bad tan after this, though I doubt it I will escape it. We passed by many buses and Shannon ended up in one in particular. We wait for her and stand under the shade that was extended from their bus. Shannon smiled brightly and knocked.
“Coming!” Their footsteps were heard from the outside and the door opens. Shannon attacks the tall figure and Mike comes out.
“Hello ladies.” We wave at him and the rest come out of the cool inside. They all had similar outfits, except for Mike, who was shirtless. I giggle and Ally does too, I guess we were thinking the same.
“Hey.” Jaime says and I wave. We’ve been cool about this whole thing, we figured if we were gonna be married for an entire year, according the lawyer, then we might as well get along. Damn you Echo for being right. “You look nice.” I look down at my shorts and vans, as I fixed my crop top. This was very awkward, it wasn't the first time we said something to nice but it wasn't getting any easier. We walked towards the others as we already had created a small group with some of the bands that we got along with a lot more than others.
“Eric!” I yell and smile as he looks at me, the ginger waves and smiles, before getting back to conversation with Beau.
“You lost?” I laugh as I recall the first voice I heard in the beginning of this adventure.
“Hey Tino.” I give him a hug and look at him. “Long time no talk.”
“no kidding, I missed you little one, you seem to be more with the others.”
“I'm trying to get along with Jaime.”
“I can totally see that, how's that going?” I stare at him and he let's out a loud laugh. “I guessed. So it's true?” I nod and I tell him what's been going on. It felt nice to talk to him again, besides he was the first person I actually talked to in this thing.
“When you set?” I asked him.
“3. Yours?”
“1. I need to catch your set. I've been dying to catch it, but I always end up missing it or getting lost in a crowd full of fan.” He nods and pretends to be hurt emotionally, I smack his arm and he laughs.
“VIVI!” Ally yells and I groan.
“That's my call.” I give him another hug before running towards Ally. We walked around the place a bit before we were called to do a bit of sound check and be ready to perform. I look at the wedding to ring around my neck and sigh. Jaime wears it still, even after all the fights we had about the rings and press, but maybe that's why, cause of press, I know he doesn't really want me to have his last name, but it's for the press. I cringe at the thought of Molly and how that interview went. I slip off the ring from the necklace and I place it on my finger.
“Good luck.” I turn around to see Mike, Jaime, Tino, Alex, Kellin and Chris standing there. Our supporters since the start. We gave them a small smile and turn our back to them
“You're playing with it on?” Echo asked, whispering, surprised about my action.
“I don't see why not. We kind of agreed to it.” She nods and gives me a side hug before we ran into the stage.

I grab my acoustic guitar from the case and walk outside the bus, sitting right under the shade and in a camping chair, getting away from the busy environment for a few minutes. I cross my legs, and strum to see if it was tuned. I wince at the sound of disgrace and tuned my beautiful black Gibson. I place my earbuds in my ears and close my eyes as I played a couple of songs. I open them again and look at people as they walked by me. I hum along the song as I felt someone tap my shoulder. I look up and smile at Kevin.
“You have an interview. Let's go.” I nod, place my guitar back inside the bus and follow Kevin to the interview place. Ally,Echo and Shannon stand there, fixing their hair or shirt. We were sweaty and nasty, but we didn't care. My phone rings and I look at the lighted screen
Damien: I'm off for duty, Vivi. I love you and hope to see you soon. Take care.

Ally's POV
“That went well girls, good job. I'll meet you back in the bus later.” Kevin said to us as we walked out of the room we had been interviewed on. Afterwards we walked back to our tent.
“Well I'll see you all later, Mike and I have planned to go see Motionless In White’s set in a bit.” Shannon said while pulling out her phone, probably to text Mike and walked away. Vanna, Echo and I then stayed behind fooling around the tent like the little children we were from the heart. We stayed there for a couple of minutes talking before Vic and Kellin came up to us.
“You guys did great earlier!” Kellin said while giving each of us a hug, making mine a little bit longer. “I would say the same to Shannon but I'm sure Mike already did that.” Vic said smiling and did the same. I could tell he was happy for Mike and Shannon, after all that was his little brother. We talked for a bit until I received a text from Alex.
Alex G.: Hey Al, I was wondering if I could talk to you ?
Me: Yeah sure :) wanna meet by the food stand ?
Alex G.: Be there in five!
Vanna and Echo then continued on the conversation with Kellin and Vic as I excused myself to the bathroom. As I was walking there I noticed Alex sitting down by himself on the hot concrete floor near the food tent.
“Alex what are you doing sitting here it's too hot! They have chairs over there you know.” I told him while stretching out my hand towards him to help him up. “I don't know Ally, I haven't really been thinking straight lately.” He said looking like he was in a real deep thought while holding onto my hand and standing up. “Is it about the whole kissing Echo thing ?” I asked. “Yes actually. Can I tell you something but promise you'll keep it a secret?” He asked. Dang it I'm bad when it comes down to secrets. “I can try, yeah.” I answered.
“Well look I never meant to hurt Echo and if I did last night then I'm sorry, but I couldn't hold it in anymore, I love her. She's the one Ally, she's the one for me. And it hurts that she doesn't want anything to do with me in that way, she clearly only wants to be friends. I’m sorry, I really needed to get that out.” He said in frustration. “Don't apologize! And Woah what ? I knew it!!” I exclaimed while jumping up making Alex laugh. “Then why don't you just tell her Alex ?” I asked him. “I was, I was going to last night, I had finally plucked up the courage after all this time to do it but I kissed her instead and it messed everything up afterwards.” He said sitting back down while running his hand through his hair. “If you want to, I could talk to her about it.” I suggested. “No, I think she's had enough of that already.” He said. “But you just can't hold everything you feel about her and hurt yourself like that Alex. It's not fair. You love her, she needs to know that.” I said sitting down beside him. “It's not that easy, I wish it was. I'll just tell her when the time is right.” He responded. “Pinky promise ?” I said sticking my pinky out to him. “Pinky promise” he said, chuckling while intertwining his pinky with mine.

I walked back inside our bus, putting my headphones on and my music, thinking about what had happened earlier. I didn't understand why Alex wouldn't tell her soon. They obviously like each other, well I think. They could be happy with each other. Thoughts fluttered my head until I got a text.
Kellin <3: Where are you, Ally ? I miss yew!! :( Can you meet me by the SWS bus ?
Me: Sorry, Alex wanted me for a moment. But I'll meet you later!
Kellin <3: Can't wait! <3 I have to ask you something important about the party for this weekend coming up!! :D I'll give you a hint, it has to do with us!
“What's he gonna ask you ?” I heard Shannon’s voice from behind me, making me jump up from my seat. “Holy crap Shannon! How long have you been standing there ?” I asked sitting back down. “Not long actually. But I think we've made a discovery from here, Kellin likes you, well he talks about you all the time so I'm one hundred percent sure he does. He's probably going to ask you to be his date and then he's gonna ask you out.” Mike answered while standing beside her and putting his arm around her. I'm pretty sure my face into a deep shade of red, Kellin talks about me ? And was he really going to ask me out ? “How do you know this ? No he doesn't. And no he won't” I giggled.”I'm a guy, I know how other guys are.” He answered quite proudly. “And plus even if he did what am I supposed to do ? How do I answer to that ? I've never had an association link with another boy.” I said frustrated while sinking back into my seat. “Huh ?” Mike asked confused, taking a seat next to me. “She's never had a boyfriend or been on a date is what she means.” Shannon answered him, taking a seat to my other side. “Oh right.” He answered while moving his head up and down.
“Look just go meet him, we'll be close by in case something goes wrong.” Mike said standing up. Shannon then did the same and they both stuck out their hands to help me up. “Let's go!”
After walking around the venue for a while looking for the SWS bus I realized I couldn't go. Yes, I did like Kellin but I knew it would be hard for me to keep a relationship going. I've never had one, I didn't know how to handle it, I was scared.
“I don't know about this guys!” I exclaimed again while getting out their grip, they were holding my hand as if I was child who was trying running away from their parents. “Ugh Ally, come on, you can do it!” Shannon said taking my hand back again. “Wait Look go ask them for advice, I'm sure they'll know what to tell you.” Mike said pointing towards Vanna and Jaime from across the parking lot. They had gotten along just well lately, making me happy for them. Maybe they might have a chance after all. Shannon then pushed me towards them, making me walk to them. Obviously they wanted some time alone so I left.
“They told me to come talk to you guys.” I said while interrupting their conversation and pointing back towards where they were standing. Vanna and Jaime then looked towards Mike and Shannon who smiled widely and innocently waved. Great I'm annoying them now, I thought.
“What's up ?” Vanna asked. “Okay I'll get this over with. You know about the party they're throwing for the Fourth of July celebration ?” I asked. “Yeah it's this weekend right ?” Jaime asked. “Yes, well Kellin texted me saying he wants to ask me something and I think I know he's going to ask me to be his date.” I answered while nervously picking on my hair. “Gross!” Jaime answered while laughing. “Don't say gross, I like Kellin!” I said to him back. “Then go with him.” Vanna said. “No!” I responded quickly. “But you just said you liked hi-” “Look Kellin is basically one of my best friends now, and I really like him but I'm not ready for all of that yet.” I said while interrupting Vanna. “I don't know what to tell you Ally, just do what you think is best.” Vanna said while patting my head and walking off with Jaime. I needed time to think through it. I walked back to our bus and sat outside. I then pulled out my phone and texted Kellin.
Me: Hey can we meet up another time ? I'm not feeling too well and I really need some sleep right now :(
Kellin <3: Yeah of course! We can talk tomorrow :) and if you need anything, I'm here <3 is there anything you need ?
Me: Thank you! And yes, you could please come take Shannon and Mike somewhere private please, they're practically having sex right now. EWWWW :-/
“GET A ROOM!” I heard Echo and Jack Barakat scream at them while laughing their heads off. Mike and Shannon then flipped them off, and began laughing.
Kellin <3: LMAO!! I'll try! :D I'll let you rest now, see you tomorrow <3
I then went inside and into my bunk and fell asleep.
