Left For Dead

Vanna-
I jump out if my bunk, landing on my feet, luckily not breaking any bones and walked to front. I scroll down on my phone and decided to Google some the actual time i need to wait for the divorce to go through, we already knew we had to wait to even start the process.
Time for divorce to go through :Six months.
I put my phone at the side and groan.
Six plus three equals nine.
I have to be his wife for nine fucking months, maybe up to a year. Earth, I've littered so much, punish me by swallowing me into your crust so I don't have to live through this. I was dead bored, and we were almost to San Francisco, Shannon was most likely texting Mike, Ally was probably sleeping. But first I needed to text the one who I'm married too.
Me: Have you talked to the lawyer?
He texted back, immediately, as if he was just looking at his phone as well.
Jaime P: Haven't gotten contact with him, why?
Oh here comes the big bomb, Jaime.
Me: it takes six months to have the divorce completed.
Jaime: Six months?! Well this sucks. I have some good news as well, press knows.
I groan and sigh. It was going to happen eventually, but never did I think of it happening so quick. Looks like I will have to be faking my happiness with this guy.
Me:How?
I was curious.
Jaime: I hope you remember that we had a public wedding… very public.
Me: Great. Well I'm going to stop talking to you now. We can talk more about it in San Fran.
I put my phone on silent and make my way to get some ice cream, the comfort food for any woman.
“You okay?” I look behind me to see Echo in her pajamas rubbing her eyes.
“I'm peachy. I was just going to watch a movie.. Wanna join me?” She nods and she sits on the table and I join her after I had put on Tangled. I give her a silver spoon and we open the delicious frozen treat.
“Princess movies?” Echo asks, as Flynn Rider’s voice fills my ears.
“I'm a sucker for Flynn Rider, don't laugh.” and she does the complete opposite. She giggles and I couldn't help to laugh either. I was in love with a fictional character. I'm doomed. As the movie played, I kept on repeating the lines I memorized, and that only seemed to make Echo laugh. I shoot her a glare and she stopped, just to start it again.
“They are so cute.” I whisper as my favorite scene plays and Echo just nods, grabbing another spoonful of ice cream. As the movie credits roll in, my phone lit up.
“It's Jaime.” Echo says, peeking at my phone. I shrug and take the empty ice cream carton along with our spoons. “How is that going?” I sigh.
“well… AltPress brought out the news and I'm not getting a divorce anytime soon.” I said sadly. In all honestly, the thing that hurt me the most wasn't the fact that I married Jaime, OR the fact that I can't even remember my own wedding… but because I didn't have family there plus I didn't do it out of love. I did it out of many drinks and stolen kisses. I sat in front of Echo and I told her everything. This was eating me alive, and she understood, so she listened. I ranted like there was no tomorrow, my heart heavier and my voice cracked, she squeezed my hands and I smiled at her.
My phone rings again and I sigh, answering.
“Hello?”
“It's Holden..” I wipe my face and Echo smiles. She gives me a side hug and walks to the back.
“Hey.”
“So is it really true? Did you really get married?” He asked with a hint of worry and curiosity.
“unfortunately.” He sighs. “Why? You sound pretty hurt.”
“it's nothing. I'm sorry.” and he hangs up. I shrug it off.

I tie my blue head in a ponytail and put on my shoes as the girl waited in the front.
“it's a girls day okay? No husband and no Crushes allowed.” Shannon said. We all agreed today was going to only focus on us. Another family day slash night, just with no boys included.
“Feeling better, V?” Kevin asked. I nod and he smiles. “Atta girl. Now go ladies, I'll meet you in the stage.” we nod and began walking as a group to the stage. I linked my arms with Echo on my right and Ally on my left. We were in this together. After telling them what I had talked with Jaime and we saying everything that has been bothering us, we felt like we actually had each other back on track. We walk by some bands and we wave hi as they do.
I might be married, and we might be drifting away from each other, everything had changed, and so should we, in a good way of course. We were Left For Dead, and nothing got in our way
Ally's POV
The girls and I had decided to have the rest of the day to ourselves, with no boys and no interruptions. After everything that's been going on with Vivi and Jaime, the press, and just dumb rumors, I think we all needed it. As the girls and I walked around, I felt great having them by my side I had come to realize that I didn't need anything else but them. Yes, we might've lost someone really important to us and the band but we had Echo now and I'm sure she wouldn't leave like Lauren did. After walking around for an hour or so we decided to have a mini picnic by a park nearby.
“Hey Echo can you pass me the soda please ?” Vivi asked as she took a bite of her sandwich.
“and the chips” “and the cookies” She added, and all we started laughing.
As we continued to sit there, we talked about everything and anything. From the first pets we ever owned to all the bad things we had done in our school days. I honestly felt happy with them. As I was telling them about my ‘kindergarten love’ Shannon got a call from Kevin saying it was time for us to go back.
“Let's go ladies.” Shannon said with a long sigh while standing up and giving us a hand up. “We shall continue this next time.”
We then began walking back. When we got back to the venue, Kevin instructed us to go change real quick and meet him back at the our tent because we were about to have an interview with the whole band.
**30 minutes later**
“Shannon put your phone away, Echo take that piece of cookie off your hair please, Vanna you have a chocolate stain on the side of your cheek, and Ally will you please tie your shoe, you're going to fall down” Kevin said to us while pacing around the room, taking on the phone. “Where's the interviewer ?” He asked the other person on the phone while walking out of the room.
“Echo don't move.” Vanna instructed her while trying to remove the piece of cookie from her hair. “Vanna don't move.” I said mocking her, earning a laugh from Echo and Shannon while trying to wipe the chocolate off her face. How did she even get it there ?
“Who's Shannon cannon texting ?” I asked while leaning towards her her shoulder.
“Someone.” She said giggling. “Does his or her name rhyme with ‘bike’ ?” I asked obviously bringing up Mike. “Maybe” she said smiling at me and looking back down at her phone.
“Mike and Shannon sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-” I said prancing around her like a child before getting interrupted by a loud cough. “I believe we're ready now.” A girl who I believe was our interviewer said standing by the door.
**few minutes later**
We haven't even been here for more than ten minutes and I already wanted to slap this girl in the face. Besides her being a complete stuck-up she was the most rude person we've had to deal with since high school.
“So Hannah, how does it feel to be married at the young age of 18 ? Was it a forced marriage ?” She asked with a fake smile on her face while practically stuffing the microphone in Vanna’s face. Vanna quickly took it from her hand giving her glare.
“It's Vanna and sorry I'm 21 not 18 and no it's wasn't and it's really none of your business” Vanna said as politely as possible trying to contain herself from not saying anything bad. I quickly held on to her hand and mouth to her to calm down. “Someone didn't do their research.” Shannon said from beside me sarcastically in a sing-song voice. The girl who I believe her name was ‘Molly’ took the microphone back.
“Anyways it doesn't matter, so you Echo first time touring right ? How do you feel to not have known the other girls as much as they know each other, do you think they've accepted you by now?” She asked Echo, I could feel her tense up, I knew she was shy around new people and I knew it was getting awkward for her.
“Excuse me m’am, we came here to talk about our music not our personal lives.” I interrupted smiling at Molly and giving her back her microphone. “Oh my bad, I just want my viewers to get to know this band better. They should know things like this, like who are you taking back to your bus tonight ? Isn't that how you guys became buddy buddies with the rest of the bands at warped ? That's really how everyone sees it” She asked looking at me straight in the eye. Wow. So that's what everyone thought of us, of me. That's how they saw us. I'm usually not the type of person to cry in public, because I try and stay strong for us but right now I couldn't hold it in, my eyes then started getting teary.
“YOU BIT-” Shannon yelled while standing up. “Okay interview is over. Girls come with me now!” Kevin said running from the side and stepping in front of us blocking the view from Molly. I then wiped a small tear from my cheek, stood up quickly and grabbed Shannon's hand, trying to get her to walk off with me. Echo did the same with Vanna, since Vi looked like she would jump on the girl anytime by now. A security guard then escorted us out of there before things got out of control.
After getting out of there we went back into our bus. “I'm sorry girls, that's not how the interview was supposed to go down, I don't even know why she interviewed you all. It was supposed to be BryanStars.” He said while taking his phone out of his pocket. My inner fangirl begin to come out as he mentioned Bryan, I was a really big fan of his work, well that could've gotten a whole lot better then what just happened if he had interviewed us.
“What's going on ? You guys look like you're about to fight someone ” Leon asked out of nowhere, I hadn't realized he was standing behind me which made me get scared and run off which resulted in me falling. “Didn't you tie your shoes when I told you Ally ?” Kevin said laughing while helping me up. “Well we'll be leaving soon, so if you guys need to use the bathroom for number two, I advise you go now.” He said.
*30 minutes later*
“Wow, she's such a bitch.” Leon said. “Hey boy watch your mouth.” Shannon said while hitting the side of his head. “But yeah she's a bitch.”
We were all laying down in the back lounge telling Leon about the event that happened earlier.
I then began yawning, and so with that I told them goodnight, gave them each small hugs and went inside my bunk. I sat there thinking back to what had happened and shut those thoughts off as I grabbed my stuffed animal that a fan had given to me, put in my headphones with my music on and went to sleep.
