Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*

I quickly ran upstairs and picked an outfit out before doing my makeup and hair as quickly as I could because I knew how uncomfortable Karen could make someone, after spending about 5 minutes on my appearance I was finally ready, I quietly ran downstairs to see Mike and Karen sitting staring at each other, "So Mike, are you and Cassidy an item now?" She asked with a fake smile on her face, I knew Mike could read her like a book, "Not yet" he smiled, I saw her face fade before she saw me, "Oh is that you off dear?" She asked standing up, I smiled and nodded, I saw Mike watching me like a hawk to make sure she didn't make any sneaky moves on me, "We should really get going Mike, before it gets busy" I said looking at him, he smiled and nodded, "It was nice to meet you" Karen said before we left, "Hmm I wish I could say the same" Mike murmured as we walked out, "You look beautiful" Mike said as we were getting in the car, I blushed a little before buckling my seat belt, "So mall?" I asked, he nodded and started driving, "Hey I was thinking" Mike started, "Uh oh, that's unsafe" I laughed he just rolled his eyes before continuing, "I want you to meet my friends" he smiled before indicating, I looked at him with genuine fear on my face, "You what now?" I asked, he nodded, "Yeah, I mean we're going to be spending more time with each other, hopefully and you already met my Mom so what's the big deal?" He asked as we pulled up to the mall, "Oh I dunno, they are you're friends, what if they don't like me?" I asked turning and looking at him, "Well their opinion doesn't matter" he said, "Exactly, so why do I have to meet them?" I said smiling weakly, "Please just think about it?" He asked, I sighed and rolled my eyes, "Fine" I said before we jumped out and made our way into the mall, he quickly put his sunglasses and snapback on, "Why?" I asked laughing at him, he just shrugged before we started walking to the decoration shop, we walked past a small group of teenage girls who were murmuring and pointing, I felt my heart rate start to go up as I started getting paranoid, "Excuse me" one of the shouted, I stopped before Mike turned and walked over to them leaving me on my own, I saw them giggling and laughing before they pulled out a pen and he signed a couple of phone cases and took a couple of pictures, "Okay girls, take care" he said before hugging them each individually and walking back over leaving them in awe, "What was that about?" I asked laughing a little, he just shrugged and laughed weakly before we started to walk again, "I just don't get it" I said, he looked at me as I stopped once again, "What?" He asked, "Why would anyone want to take a picture with you?" I asked as it still bugged me a little, "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked, I shrugged, "You're smelly" I said, I saw him look at me before he muttered something about being dead and started walking towards me, I turned and started to run as far and fast as I could, dodging through people.

"Mike, I'm sorry" I shouted and laughed loudly as I was still ducking and diving through people, eventually he caught up with me and grabbed me, swinging me around and tickling me, 2Mike stop, I said I was sorry" I laughed as he started tickling me more, "Say, 'Mike I'm sorry and I will never insult your smell again, I love you so very much" he said, "Mike, I'm sorry I will never insult your smell again and I love you so very much" I choked out as I was laughing too hard, "Nope still not satisfied" he smirked, "Stop I'm gonna pee" I said and suddenly he stopped and stepped back holding his hands up, as soon as I caught my breath I saw people were laughing and looking at us, my face started going bright red before I turned and punched him in the chest, "I hate you so much" I huffed, "Aww pretty lady, here let me make it up to you" he smiled cheekily before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder, "Now you don't have to walk anywhere" he said as we ran through the mall, "Mike put me down, now" I said as we walked into a shop, he put me down and I slapped his chest as I fell into him trying to regain my balance, I looked up and saw he was looking down at me admirably, as he slowly started bending down our kiss was interrupted by an older couple, "Ah remember when we used to be like that Harry?" The old lady smiled to her husband, "It feels like yesterday that we were that young and in love" the older man replied, I looked at Mike and started giggling, "Oh we don't go out ma'am" Mike said politely as I buried my red face into Mike's chest, "Not yet" she said before walking away, I looked back up at Mike and smiled, "Not yet Mikey, not yet" I said before running off and looking at different decorations, I heard him sigh with dissatisfaction before he joined me beside the spray on snow. By the time we were finished I had cost Mike $43.65 in Christmas decorations, "Ready to go?" He asked, I smiled and nodded before we made our way back to the car, when we got outside I heard people shouting and screaming behind us, "Mike!! Mike!! MIKE FUENTES!!" They shouted running towards us, Mike stopped and turned to see 4 teenage girls running towards us, "Why don't you go back to the car?" He said quietly before handing me the keys, I smiled and went to walk away but he pulled me back and kissed my lips quickly, I heard the girls squeal which made them run even quicker, I raced back to the car and watched as Mike hugged and spoke to every single one of them, taking pictures and signing things again, I sneakily rolled down my window and listened in on their conversation, "So when is Pierce The Veil doing their next tour?" One of them asked, Mike just laughed and shrugged, "You'll just have to wait and see" he smiled before hugging them goodbye and walking to the car, I rolled my window up and googled Pierce The Veil, I couldn't believe what had came up.
