Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*

"Okay deary, are you ready?" The older woman that done my hair asked, I smiled and nodded as my eyes were shut, I felt my chair slowly spin around before it stopped, "Open your eyes" she said with an excited tone, I slowly opened them and saw myself in the mirror, "From blushing blonde, to beautiful brunette" she said putting her hands on my shoulders and ducking down to the side of my face as we both stared in the mirror, "Well?" She asked, I smiled and nodded as I felt tears coming to my eyes, "I love it, thank you" I said swirling around and giving her a hug, "No problem, just come to the desk when you're ready" she said before walking off, I stared in the mirror and awed at her amazing work, as I started to ruffle and brush it through my fingers I heard a familiar voice at the front desk, "Hi, I was wondering if Cassidy Harrold was in here?" Katelynne asked, "Sure, if you want to come this way" a different woman said as she led here through to the backroom, "There's my bri- Cass! You're hair!" She said gasping as she got a proper look at me, "Do you like it?" I asked standing up and worrying that she hated it, "Yes, I love it!" She smiled engulfing me in a hug, "Anyway babe, Lynn and Tamara are in the car, are you ready to go dress shopping?" She asked, I smiled and nodded, before walking up to the counter, "That will be $24, please" the hairdresser smiled, I handed her $25 and told her to keep the change before exiting, when I got to the car, Tamara and Lynn were in the back, "Hey guys" I smiled as I got in, "Woaah, what did you do to your hair?" Lynn asked grabbing a lock of it, "I got it dyed, do you like it?" I asked, she smiled and nodded, "It really suits you" Tamara chimed in, I thanked them both before Katelynne got in and we started driving towards the bridal shop, thankfully it stocked bride and bridesmaid dresses, I was so nervous as I had never actually been dress shopping for myself let alone for 3 other people. When we arrived it was a tall building with glass windows and hardly any brick detail, "Are you ready Miss Bride?" Katelynne asked smiling, I nodded and jumped out, when we went inside Katelynne checked us in as I admired the high attention in detail that they used as decor, "Miss Harrold? If you would come this way" an older lady with a southern accent smiled and led us down a corridor into a small room.

When we got in the room there was a blonde women sitting at a desk, she turned around on he swivel chair and looked at me smiling, "Hi you must be Cassidy, I'm Rebecca, but you can call me Becca" she smiled shaking my hand, "So who did you bring with you?" She asked peering behind me, "My two bridesmaids and best friends, Katelynne and Lynn" I said pointing at them before she shook their hand, "And my maid of honor and sister, Tamara" I said finally pointing to her too as Rebecca greeted her with a warm hearted smile and hand shake, "Now who's dress are we doing first?" She asked, I shrugged, "Bridesmaids it is then" she said before pulling in a rack from the corridor, "On the phone you said you were having a fall wedding and would like to co-ordinate the dresses with that, yeah?" She asked, I nodded as I took a seat, "And you wanted long, chiffon, you didn't really care about straps or not, correct?" She asked again, I nodded and smiled for the second time, "Great lets get started, I will put each of them in a different gown, and we'll see which one you like best" she smiled clapping her hands and leading them off to the dressing rooms, I looked around the room and saw 4 glasses of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries, I was trying to think of an excuse as to why I couldn't drink the champagne next to me, other than I was pregnant, but before I could Rachael burst back through the door, "They're going to come through when they are ready, champagne and strawberries?" She asked, I shook my head no to the champagne, "I just got my hair dyed and I think it's having a wheezy affect on me" I laughed, "It looks lovely, is brown your natural color?" She asked, I shook my head, "No I got it dyed from blonde to brown, here" I said unlocking my phone and showing her a selfie of Mike and I, "Wow, you suit brown more than blonde" she laughed, I widened my eyes and nodded, "Is that your fiancee?" She asked, I nodded, "Mike, yeah" I smiled dazed as I started staring at his smile, "Awwhh young love!" She smiled, before I could reply, Lynn, Tamara and Katelynne walked in with the first dresses and I was breath taken, this was going to be hard...
