Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*
-3 Weeks Later- (7 Weeks Pregnant)

Today was the day of the scan, as I was starting to get ready I heard the guys downstairs discussing the wedding, "No dude we need to make it fall theme" Mike said sighing, they have been arguing about themes since 10am this morning, it is now 12:30pm, after I was ready I walked downstairs to see the living room scattered with pictures, folders, binders and sheets of paper with writing on them, "Woah guys, it looks like a Sarah Haywood bomb went off in here" I laughed as I reached the bottom of the stairs, "Well I don't see you helping any" Jaime said bitterly, "Don't mind him, he hasn't had his coffee yet" Vic said pushing him away as he tried to cuddle into him, "I'll make y'all some coffee then I'm going to run some errands, Mike can I see you in the kitchen a minute?" I asked as I walked past them and all their busy work, Mike immediately jumped up and followed me through to the kitchen, "What's up?" He asked, I took a deep breath before switching the kettle on and turning to face him, "The scan is today and I don't want to go on my own but you can't leave because it would look suspicious" I explained, he nodded and bit his lip as he though for a second, "What if we have a 'fight' and you storm out and I come after you?" He asked, air quoting fight, "Why do I have to be the one to storm out?" I asked,"Fine, then I'll storm out" he sighed, I smiled and nodded before making the guys their coffee, "Vic! Jaime! Tone! You're coffee is out!" I shouted as I stood staring at Mike and smiled, "Whatever I say, I'm sorry and I love you" I giggled a little, "I love you too" he said ducking down and kissing me quickly and then pulling away, "But I want Austin to be there Mike!" I said raising my voice as the others appeared at the door, it was the first thing I could think of that would get him riled up and sure enough he started to get angry, "What the fuck are you talking about, no! I won't have him at my wedding!" He said louder than me, "It's my wedding too, Michael!" I shouted, I watched as he stared at me for a second before barging past the guys and slamming the front door, "Should I go-" Vic started, "No, it's fine, I'll go" I said taking the tone down and racing out, I saw Mike was already in the car, I quickly jumped in and we started to drive off down the road and towards the doctors, "You don't actually want him there, do you?" He asked, I shrugged, "I don't know" I said unsure, "What do you mean, 'you don't know'? He practically tried to rape you!" Mike said clearly getting annoyed with me, "Well we are inviting the others from Of Mice so it would be kind of rude not to.." I said, he just sighed and rolled his eyes before parking up.

"Okay Miss Harrold, are you ready?" The doctor asked, I smiled and nodded as I held my dress up and she put the cold gel on my stomach, I flinched a little to start with but soon settled when I saw her fidgeting with the buttons on the screen, I felt Mike's grip on my hand tighten as we were anxiously waiting for a picture to appear, eventually a picture in the shape of a baby appeared on the screen I felt Mike's hand go weak in my hold and when I turned I saw the awe and excitement on his face, "That's our baby" he said quietly, with tears forming in his eyes, I turned back to look at the screen and felt this overwhelming happiness feeling just hit me as I realized that this is happening, this is real, Mike and I are having a baby together, "So would you guys like some pictures?" She asked after cleaning everything up, I smiled and nodded before she left, "Mike" I whispered, he took his eyes off the screen and looked it me with a wide grin on his face, "We're having a baby" I smiled, I saw the excitement in his eyes as he was ready to cry, "I know, just think, in 7 and a bit months, we're gonna have a small girl around the house" he said placing a cold hand on my stomach, "Girl? No, it's a boy" I said knowingly, "What makes you say that?" He asked, I shrugged, "Mothers intuition" I laughed, "That's not a real thing" he said shaking his head, I just cocked an eyebrow as the doctor walked back in with a green folder in her hand, "Now, when you come back for your next scan, if you would like we can tell you the gender" she said, I looked at Mike and he nodded a little, "We would love to" I said nodding and putting my dress down, for being 7 weeks pregnant thankfully I wasn't showing, Mike and I planned to tell everyone at our reception, which I thought was a pretty good idea. On our way home we both got a text from Vic asking if we were okay and where were we, "Will we just tell them we went for a coffee and spoke it out?" Mike asked as we pulled in the drive, I smiled and nodded before jumping out, when we walked in everyone was staring, "Where were you?" Vic asked, "Uhh we went for a coffee and spoke things out" I smiled, he nodded and sighed, "Did you come to an agreement about Austin?" Tony asked, I nodded and smiled, "Yeah, put him on the guest list" I said walking down and sitting next to him, I saw Mike looking at me with a disapproving look but I didn't care, I wasn't being ignorant and rude.

I'm back, believe it or not, it took me since 2:30pm till now which is 10:43pm to write, I get distracted by lots of things.
