Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Mike's POV*

I quickly jumped out of her car and ran to my house, I went to unlock my door but it was already opened, I knew Vic was in there, I took a deep breath and walked in and sure enough sitting on my couch was Vic, Tony and Jaime, I opened my mouth to say something but Vic cut me off, "What the fuck was that?" He asked angrily, I shrugged, "What was what?" I asked looking at all three of them, "That, ditching us and running off with a girl, not even telling us where you were?" Vic said, Jaime and Tony just sat in silence, "That is exactly what that was, thanks for explaining for me, but I have something important to do" I said before going to go upstairs but Vic shouted me back, "No Mike, I'm serious, that was a dick move, you didn't even text us, we were worried shitless about you!" He said looking at the guys, they kind of just sighed and nodded along, "Okay well I'm safe so worry over" I said rolling my eyes and running upstairs, slamming my door closed, I jumped on my bed and pulled my phone out, quickly texting Cassidy and saving her number;

Hello, it's Mike

I understood why she didn't reply I mean we just met and she probably didn't know what to say, when I went back downstairs I saw Jaime and Tony had left, leaving Vic on the couch watching TV, "Yeah sure, make yourself at home" I said rolling my eyes as I walked to the kitchen and flicking the switch on the kettle, suddenly my phone started ringing, "Hello" I answered as I poured hot water into my already set up cup, "Hi son" replied a familiar voice, it was my Dad, "Hey Dad, what's up?" I asked as I stirred my cup, "Oh nothing I just wanted to know what you're getting your Mom for her birthday?" He asked, I laughed a little, "I was going to get her a new watch and perfume, why?" I asked knowing what was coming, "Oh no reason, do you think that because you know her so well that you could pick me up something for her?" He asked, I rolled my eyes, "You're the one that's supposed to be married to her" I laughed, "I know but she's so hard to buy for, please Michael" he pleaded, I sighed, "Fine but only because I love you" I said before saying my goodbyes and hanging up, "Let me guess, Mom's birthday?" Vic shouted through, "What's new, wanna a coffee?" I asked, "Yeah, thanks" he said, I switched the kettle back on and started making his coffee, "Hey Mike, I have a date tomorrow and I need your help with what to wear" Vic said, I looked at him, "Really?" I asked, he smiled and nodded, "Yeah I mean you're good at style and I tho-" He started but I cut him off, "No I mean, you have a date and I don't"? I laughed, he punched me in the arm, "What about that girl you were with, didn't you ask her on a date?" He asked, I shrugged, "Oh my god, she said no" he said laughing at me, I rolled my eyes, "Yeah so what?" I shrugged, just as Vic was about to say something his phone started ringing, "Hello" he answered, "Oh hey man what's up?" he said looking at me and sniggering a little, "No no, sorry I can't i have a date, but Mike's free?" He said before handing the phone to me, "Oli" he mouthed, I nodded before taking the phone off him, after talking for about 20 minutes straight I finally hung up, "What did he want?" Vic asked putting his mug on the table, "Oh he wants me to go to the mall with him tomorrow for some new shoes" I said rolling my eyes, "Okay lets head to yours and see what you're gonna wear for this date" I said turning the TV off and walking out with Vic.
