*Cassidy's POV*

"Thank you" I said softly before unbuckling my seat belt, as I went to open the the car door Mike's hand was on my wrist, "Are you okay?" He asked, I sighed and nodded, "Are you sure?" He asked again, I nodded, "Yes I'm fine, Mike" I said as I was about to get out, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, yeah" he said, I sighed and nodded as I honestly just wanted to get to my bed, "Goodnight" he said before I smiled and closed the door, walking up to my house and entering to find Karen and her friends sitting around the living room laughing, they were very clearly drunk, "Oh look the sluts home!" Karen shouted as the room echoed with laughed from everyone, I rolled my eyes as I walked to the kitchen, "Oi fat fuck, bring us the vodka bottle and juice through!" One of them shouted, I grabbed a water, the glass bottle of vodka and then the bottle juice, carrying it through and placing them on the table, "I'm going to bed" I sighed before turning around, suddenly I found myself being dragged to the floor by my hair, "Stop!" I shouted as someone stood over me, I went to get up but Karen pushed me down again before she started kicking my side, I curled up into a ball like a spider does when it gets frightened, I felt hands move mine away from my face before they slapped me multiple times, "You fucking slut!" He shouted between slapping me, "Stop!!" I whined again, I felt the tears rushing down my face as more people joined in, they were all laughing and having fun as if this is what they had been waiting for since they got here, "TAMARA!!" I shouted hoping that she's appear at the stairs and stop this but she never, "TAMARA!!" I shouted again, "She's not in you dumb bitch" Karen said as she kicked me in the stomach, suddenly they all stopped and I was pulled up, I was thankful for a second, until an older guy, round about Karen's age pushed me against the wall, "You dirty fucking slut" he said looking me up in down, I was literally shaking in my boots as I watched him prey on my body, I felt his hand starting to slide up my leg as everyone else watched, I went to push him back but he grabbed both of my hands and stared deep into my eyes, "Don't try it" he said evilly, I suddenly froze as he reached the top of my leg, he started tracing the top of my tights before he starting pulling on it, I quickly plucked up 5 seconds of courage and pushed him back into everyone, running out of the house and as far down the street as possible, I heard people come out of my house shouting and screaming as they searched for me, I jumped into a bush and took my heels off, as I was looking around I felt a hot liquid dripping from my nose, I quickly checked it and it was bleeding heavily. After walking for a while I was cold but my nose had stopped bleeding, I felt myself slowly starting to find it hard to breath as I reached a bench near a park, I saw a car go down the road but it soon reversed again, "Cassidy?" Someone shouted as they got out, "Austin you need to drive to the hospital!!" he shouted, I recognized the voice as Vic's, I was slowly drifting in and out of consciousness, " Cass are you okay?" He asked before scooping me up, as he put me in the back of the car, everything went black.

*Vic's POV*

"Dude no, LeBron James is so much better than Kevin Durant!" I defended as we were driving back to Austin's, "No, OKC Thunders are way better and more efficient and better Cleveland Cavaliers" Austin argued, I shook my head and glanced out of my window to see what looked like Cassidy crippling on a bench, I quickly stopped the car and put it in reverse, "Dude, what are you doing?" Austin asked looking at me confused, "I think I saw Mike's girlfriend?" I said stopping the car a bit from he bench and getting out, "Cassidy?" I shouted as I made my way over, she didn't respond, "Austin you need to drive to the hospital!!" I shouted as I got over and saw her eyes rolling in and out the back of her head, "Cass are you okay?" I asked, but again she was unresponsive, I quickly picked her up in my arms and placed her in the back and got in beside her, Austin got out and ran around to the drivers seat, jumping in and starting to drive towards the nearest hospital, I saw Cassidy's eyes shut and she was completely unresponsive and limp, I held her head up in my arms as Austin drove to the hospital as quickly as he could, as soon as we pulled up, I jumped out and handed Austin Cassidy, before I ran to the front desk, "We have a girl who passed out and is having trouble breathing" I said panicking, the receptionist nodded and got a couple of paramedics to take her on a gurney through to a room, "You two can stay here, if you need anything just ask the receptionist" one of the paramedics told us before following the rest, we nodded and took a seat, "Is that the girl you hate?" Austin asked, I shook my head, "I don't hate her, I just didn't trust her" I said, he nodded, "Does that mean that you trust her now?" He asked, I shrugged, "I guess?" I said but before he could reply a doctor came over and cleared his throat, "So the girl you brought in-" he started but I interrupted, "Cassidy" I smiled, he nodded and took a deep breath, "So Cassidy is suffering from a brutal beating it looks like she got jumped by a gang of thugs or something, she has a collapsed lung, some blunt forced trauma and three broken ribs on the left side" he explained, I couldn't believe it, it was a lot to take in, "Is she awake?" Austin asked, the doctor smiled and nodded before leading us to her room, when we got in she was hooked up to all these machines and looked weak.
