Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Mike's POV*

"Oh my god is that a Star Wars Battleship t-shirt!? And authentic Star Wars Vans with Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader!?" Tony asked running up to Cassidy as she was pouring her tea and making her jump, she laughed it off and nodded before turning back to her tea, she slowly moved her hair behind her ear, out of habit and Tony nearly cried, "AND you have Stormtrooper ear plugs!? Mike can we keep her?" He asked latching himself on to her, I saw her smile slightly before looking up at me and smiling even more, "Yeah, I guess we can" I said smiling at her, "Anyway Tony we should probably get on our way, we don't want your Mom to go ape at us" Jaime said when he came out of the toilet, I looked at him confused, "Why would she go ape?" I asked, Jaime sighed and looked at Tony, "Well somebody told her that Tony and I would watch her friends dog while they were on holiday and we left the dog on it's own to come over here" Jaime said rolling his eyes, I laughed a little before I heard Cassidy gasp quietly, I looked at her and she was staring at Jaime, "That's horrible, you can't leave a dog on it's own" she said, Jaime went to defend himself but she started again, "You guys are thee worst dog sitters ever, would fire you if you were mine" she said before taking a sip of her tea, Jaime looked disappointed with himself, "Sorry, we'll go over right now" he said grabbing Tony's arm, "Bye guys" I shouted after them, "Goodbye" Cassidy called as well, "Cheerio" Jaime shouted before the door opened, but it didn't shut, "Oh hey Vic, they are in the kitchen" Jaime said, I heard Vic mutter something along the lines of 'Great' before he closed the door, I looked at Cassidy and saw her starting to get nervous and anxious, "You'll be fine" I said ushering her to a chair before sitting next to her, suddenly I saw her tense up as Vic stood at the door, "Hey" I said, he smiled before walking over to the kettle and flicking the switch, "It's just boiled" Cassidy said quietly but he ignored her, "Can I use your phone charger?" Cassidy asked politely, I smiled and nodded, "It's in my room2 I said giving her head a quick kiss and sending her upstairs. I turned to Vic when I heard my room door open and then close again, "What was that?" I asked, getting angry and overprotective of Cassidy, "What was what?" He asked sipping his coffee, I looked at him with an annoyed expression and he finally gave in, "Look I don't trust her, she's shady" he said shrugging, I rolled my eyes, "You haven't even given her a chance" I defended, he looked at me and laughed weakly, "I don't have to" he said finishing the rest of his coffee and placing the cup on the counter, "Anyway, I'm not here to argue, Mom invited you and her over for dinner tomorrow night" he said looking bitter, I smirked and nodded, "We're there" I smiled before he nodded and left without a goodbye.

I slowly jogged up the stairs but stopped in my tracks when I saw Cassidy standing at the top of the stairs, "Hey I was just coming to get you" I smiled but there wasn't anything warm or welcoming about her look, "I'm not going to the dinner with your family tomorrow" she said looking at me, "Why not?" I asked a little upset, "Because Mike, I can't eat in front of people, why do you think I drink tea a lot? I hate eating in front of people" she defended herself crossing her arms, "But you eat in front of me all the time?" I said confused, "Meals Mike, I eat like chips or fruit in front of you, not full plated meals" she sighed, I gave her a pleading look but she shook her head, "I'm not doing it" she said before walking past me on the stairs, I reacted quickly by puling her back in front of me by her waist, "Mike" she groaned, "Please" I whispered into her ear, she shook her head and I decided to take drastic measures, I slowly moved down her kimono followed by her tank top, I started to suck and kiss at her shoulder, making my way up, she quickly complied as she moved her hair out of the way of her neck and tilted her head to the side, I slowly made my way up to her ear, "Please" I whispered into her ear, I saw her shiver a little before she sighed turning around and facing me, "I promise I'll get you out of eating somehow, just please because if I don't, she will come to us" I said with hopeful eyes, she looked at my chest and hit it softly with a balled fist, "I will go.." she started, my face immediately lit up, "If, and only if I don't have to eat" she said continuing to rub my chest with her palm, I smiled and nodded, "I also have one condition..." I said taking a deep breath, she looked at me confused, "Will you.. Be my.. Girlfriend?" I said smiling slightly, she looked at me and laughed a little, "What are you serious?" She asked laughing nervously, I smiled bigger as I nodded, "Yeah, I am" I said, she looked down at her feet and tucked her hair behind her ear before looking back up at me with shimmering eyes and a huge smile, she nodded, "Yes" she said, "Yes what?" I asked being cocky, "Yes I will be your girlfriend" she smiled, I nodded, "One more time for the people in the back" I said just being plain annoying, "Yes!! I will be your girlfriend!!" She said louder, I immediately hugged her tightly, I couldn't think of a time that I was happier?
