The Taste Of Blood Remains

*Cassidy's POV*

I woke up in a warm comfy bed next to a sleeping and peaceful Mike , I was so hungry but I couldn't be bothered cooking anything, I slowly and quietly got out of bed and called Katelynne, "Hello" she answered with a happy tone, "Hey, you up for waffles?" I asked, picking my clothes out of the wardrobe, "Yeah sure, do you mind if I pick you up in 10?" She asked, I shook my head, "No" I replied laying my selection of clothes on the chair, "Great see you in 10 babes" she said before hanging up, I quickly got changed and thankfully Mike didn't even stir, just as I was about to walk out he woke up, "Where are you going fan girl?" He smirked as he propped himself up on his elbows, I rolled my eyes and turned to face him, "Out with Katelynne" I said as I crawled in the bed over to him, he smiled at me as he tucked my hair behind my ear, "Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" He asked, I giggled a little, "Hmm I dunno, I can't remember" I smirked, he smiled at me before placing a hand on my cheek and leaning up to kiss me, when our lips clashed it was a pretty passionate kiss, I heard a car honk outside but before I could pull away Mike had me on top of him, the car honked a second time, "As much as I would love to stay and kiss you all day, I have things I need to attend to" I said between kisses, he sighed and nodded, "Go, before I change my mind" he said kissing me one more time and smacking my bum as I got off him, "Bye, love you" I smiled before blowing a kiss and leaving, "I love you too shorty!!" He shouted as I ran down the stairs and out the door, "What took you so long?" Katelynne asked as I got in and buckled my seat belt, "I couldn't find my shoes" I laughed lying as we started driving to The Waffle Spot, "So what's been up lately, Mike told Kellin you've been having trouble sleeping?" Katelynne asked as we signaled to turn into the restaurant, "Oh it's just night terrors, nothing really bad" I said laughing it off a little as we took our seats, "About what?" She asked, I froze as I didn't want to sound psychotic, "Seriously, it's fine" I said trying to change the subject before the waiter took our orders, "I'm not going to judge you Cass, please?" She asked, I sighed and nodded, "It started with Mike and I getting burgled, Phil Manansala kidnapped me and made me believe he had killed Mike" I said without making eye contact, I felt arms around me as she pulled in for a hug.

We didn't speak about it after that we just spoke about girl things until it was time to go home, "I had fun today" Katelynne said as we pulled into the drive, "Me too" I said uploading pictures from earlier to Instagram,"Look I know we're not talking about it but you should go see a doctor about these night terrors and also that" she said pointing to my stomach, I looked at her, "What?" I asked laughing in confusion, "Babe, I'm not calling you fat but I think you may be pregnant" she said smiling at me, "I'm not pregnant, I think I'd know if I was pregnant" I giggled before saying my goodbyes and jumping out, when I went in, Mike was standing in the middle of the living room holding his nose, "Mike, are you okay?" I asked dumping my bag and walking towards him, "I'm fine, it's just a nose bleed" he laughed a little, as I looked closely I saw blood starting to drip, I suddenly felt very faint, "Cassidy" Mike said worriedly before everything went black. I woke up in a small room, the moonlight was shining through the window and from what I could make out there was only a bed and a small beside table in here, I heard two people laughing downstairs, I slowly got up, rubbing my head as I still felt a little uneasy from earlier, I checked to see if the window was open, it was locked unfortunately, I cursed myself and slowly opened the door, I looked down the stairs and saw Phil and another guy I didn't recognize until he spoke, it was Ben Bruce, I quietly tip-toed out of the room and crouched behind the railing, thankfully it wasn't a spar railing and it was just wood, "Dude, how long are we actually going to keep her here?" Ben asked, "Look I love this girl, I'm not letting her go, I already done that once, she just needs to confess her feelings because I know she feels the same" Phil said sighing, I rolled my eyes and quietly crept into the other bedroom, I'm guessing it was Phil's, I checked the windows and found it was unlocked, I grabbed the curtain and duvet, I tied the two together and threw the duvet out of the window, "I'm going to go see if she is awake" Phil said, I froze until I heard him starting to ascend the stairs which just made me more motivated, before I starting climbing down the duvet I saw that my mobile was on his bedside table, I quickly grabbed it and jumped out, I was careful to not look down, I used to do rock climbing with my sister, so I was kinda a pro, "CASSIDY!! BEN, SHE'S NOT HERE!!!" Phil shouted, I heard footsteps running through to his bedroom before Phil appeared at the window, "CASSIDY!" He shouted angrily, before I jumped down and started running into the forest.
