The Taste Of Blood Remains

*Cassidy's POV*
-3 Days Later (Thursday)-

Today I was getting out, Mike got out a couple weeks ago but he came back everyday and stayed with me all day and slept next to me all night and left in the morning to get us breakfast and coffee, Austin has only been in and out a couple of times but he said he had a good reason which he will let me know when I get out, I wasn't really bothered that he didn't come in everyday what counts it that he came in at least three times a week, "Good morning princess" Mike smiled as he climbed in the bed next to me and kissed my forehead, "Morning" I smiled back, folding a page in my book and putting it on the night stand, "I have a surprise for you" he smiled, I looked at him confused, "What is it?" I laughed, he just shrugged, "Dunno" he smiled, I rolled my eyes and jumped out of bed, I got up and went in my bag puling out my clothes, "Mike, where are my sweats?" I asked looking in my bag for them, "Oh I didn't bring them, there are shorts in there though" he said as he scrolled through his phone, I shook my head, "No, I'm not wearing shorts, not with these leg" I said motioning to my scarred legs, "I love your legs, they are amazing" he said looking up, I shook my head again, "No, I'm not wearing these!" I said in a stern voice, "Babe, your legs are fine, you were in a car accident, you are allowed to have scars" he said standing up and walking towards me, "No, I don't want to wear them, people will laugh at me!" I defended feeling tears prickling my eyes, "Cass, no one is going to laugh at you" He said trying to reassure me, "Yes they are, I feel like a freak!" I shouted as tears started to fall from my eyes, it was true, I had deep tissue scars all up and down my legs, that's why I needed crutches, "Don't say that, it's not true, you're beautiful" he said pulling me in for a hug as the tears started streaming down my face, "I can go home and get you sweats if you really want?" He asked as he dried my eyes with his thumb, I shook my head, "No I'll wear them I jut want to get out and go home as fast as possible" I mumbled, he nodded and kissed my forehead, I sighed and quickly got changed and packed my bag before Mike took it off me and walked in front of me as I had to use my crutches. There were quite a lot of people in the waiting room, I stood at the door waiting for Mike to sign me out and I felt lots of peoples eyes on me and my scars, I rushed Mike to hurry up and thankfully he did, we left and got in the car, he got a temporary one until the insurance company sort his out, "Home?" He asked, I smiled and nodded. As we pulled up to the driveway I saw Vic and Austin's car sitting outside of it, "Mike, I'm not going in like this" I said, he sighed and grabbed a hold of my hand, "They're your friends they won't judge you" he said, I sighed and nodded, I guess that was true, he helped me out before grabbing my bag, when we entered the house everyone was sitting on the couch and chair watching TV, "Welcome home!" Tony shouted, running over and hugging me, I smiled and thanked him, hugging him back as much as I could without losing my balance, then everyone else quickly hugged me before making room for me on the couch, I felt Austin's eyes on my legs and Mike must have noticed too as he got me joggers and carried me to the kitchen so I could put them on, "Thanks" I smiled softly before putting them on.

"Now what's the surprise?" I asked, he smiled and picked me up again, opening the back door and setting me down on the newly built swing, "Did you do this?" I asked looking at the chairs and swing all built and perfect, he shrugged, "It was mostly the guys but I got the flowers and things and wrapped them around the roped" he smiled, I nodded and looked around in awe, "It looks great" I beamed, he nodded and smiled a little at how excited I was, he then picked me back up and brought me back inside to the couch, as we were sitting I heard the toilet flush, I looked around and noticed that everyone was here, everyone turned and watched as a pretty, young girl came out and walked over to the free chair, she smiled at me, I politely smiled back before I actually realized there was a strange girl in my house, "Uhmm not to be rude or anything but who are you?" I laughed a little so it didn't come off as rude, she looked at Austin and smiled, he sighed and turned to me, "This is the reason I haven't been in to see you so much, Cassidy, Eva, Eva, Cassidy" he said pointing at both of us multiple times, she gave a small smile and wave and I returned it, "She's my girlfriend" he smiled, I gave a small 'awe' as she got up and sat on his knee, earning a small kiss from him on her cheek. After a while we were all watching Coach Carter, there was a loud knock at the door, "Anyone gonna get that?" I asked but they all ignored it, I sighed and stood up, grabbing my crutches, "Fine make the cripple get it" I laughed and shook my head earning a "Thanks babe" from Mike, I opened the door and was tackled to the floor by Katelynne, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!!?" She shouted as she sat on top of me, "No I've just got out of hospital" I laughed, "WHAT!? WHY!?" She shouted not caring that everyone was staring at us, "I was in a car crash" I giggled as she looked funny from this angle, "WHY IS THAT FUNNY!!?" She shouted at me, I rolled my eyes and pushed her off me, grabbing my crutches and hobbling through to the kitchen, Katelynne following me closely. After I explained everything to Katelynne and everyone left I was sitting on the couch with Mike watching American Idol and eating pizza, "Mike..." I trailed off, he looked at me a little confused, "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" I asked, he smiled and shook his head, "Hmmm, I can't remember?" He smirked, I smirked back, "Let me remind you" I said before leaning up and kissing him passionately, kissing turned to making out and then making out turned sexual as Mike moved his hands down my back and rested them on my bum, grouping at it, he pulled back and I looked at him confused, "I wanna take you on a date" he smiled, I laughed a little and sat up, "What? Why?" I said confused as to why he would want to take me on a date, "Because we've never actually had a proper date and we are official and I jus... You've never been on a date before have you?" He asked looking at my expression, I shook my head sheepishly, "Okay we are definitely going on a date now!" he said pulling me to him and kissing my head, "Fine" I sighed giving in, I could feel him smile "Saturday, ", I reached over and grabbed my phone, texting Katelynne;
