*Cassidy's POV*
-3 Days Later-

"Do you have to go?" Tamara asked as she sat on my bed pulling at my sheets, I sighed and walked over as I put my hair in a bun, "Yes, we've spoke about this" I said sitting next to her, she nodded and pulled a sad face, "Hey, if you want, you can sleep in here?" I said, she looked at me and smiled, "I'd like that" she smiled, I smiled back at her before pulling her in for a hug, "Are you going to be okay with Mom and Dad? I know how stressing they can be" I said, pulling away from her and standing up, checking myself over in the mirror, I saw her nod, "I'll be fine" she smiled, I nodded back, I know how strong she is, "Okay, how do I look?" I asked putting my necklace on, "Good but why are you going in your pyjamas?" She asked, laughing at me, I rolled my eyes, "Because it's a long drive and I want to go back to sleep" I defended myself, Tamara just nodded and laughed at me, again, just as I was about to say something my phone started to ring, "Hello Cassidy's phone" Tamara said picking it up, I rolled my eyes, "Uh hu" "Uh hu" "Okay" "Yeah" "Byeee" she said before hanging up, I looked at her waiting for her to tell me who was on the phone but she just started playing with her nails, "Well?" I asked, she looked up at me confused, "What?" She asked, I sighed and laughed a little, "Who was on the phone?" I asked her, "Oh, Austin, their outside" she said, I sighed and shook my head, I picked up my suitcase and raced down the stairs, my parents were out thankfully, "Okay, I'll text you later" I said hugging her before running off, "I love you!" Tamara shouted, I turned and smiled before putting my suitcase in the bottom of the bus and standing at the door, "I love you too!" I shouted back before running on the bus, I closed the door behind me and realized everyone was staring at me.

*Austin's POV*

"Dude, she's taking forever, can't we just go?" Aaron asked, I looked at him with a stern glare, "No, she'll be here in a minute" I said, looking back at my phone, I heard him sigh, just as Aaron was about to say something else, we heard shouting outside of the bus, "I love you too!" Cassidy shouted before walking on the bus, she immediately froze, "Sorry" she said quietly, I just laughed at her a little as she turned red and held my hands out, she walked towards me and collapsed into them, "Why does Aaron look like he wants to kill me?" She mumbled into my neck, feeling her war lips on my skin sent shivers down my spine, "Because you took forever" I whispered, I felt her tense up a little, "I'm tired" she whined, "Go to bed then?" I laughed as I watched Bob's Burgers, "I don't want to walk" she said quietly, I sighed and moved her beside me, I stood up and scooped her into my arms, taking her through to the bunks and placing her into the middle bunk, parallel to mine, "Thank you" she said quietly before tucking herself in and rolling over, I smiled and walked back out, I sat down in my spot I was previously sitting in, "Hey Aus" Phil said, getting my attention, I looked at him, "Cass is smoking, am I right?" He said holding his hand up for a high five, I gave him a disgusted look, "Dude, don't even think about it" I warned him, he held his hands up, "Just admiring the art" he said, I looked at him with a smile, "Yeah well in this museum the art isn't aloud to be touched, by anyone, you also have to keep your thoughts to yourself" I said, he nodded and smiled back, "Protective" Alan said, I just rolled my eyes and laughed, covering the fact that I was actually really protective of her, she's been hurt all her life and I wasn't going to let anyone else hurt her, no matter what.

After 4 hours of traveling we finally arrived at Nevada, "Cass, wake up, we're here, Barbecue is in an hour" I said, softly shaking her, she moaned a little before turning over, "Okay, can you please start the shower for me?" She asked, I nodded and walked through to the bathroom turning the shower on, after 10 minutes of me continuously shouting on Cassidy to get out of bed she was finally up, she said morning to everyone before going into the shower, I knocked on the door, "Do you want coffee?" I asked, "Yes please" she answered before turning the shower off, the door opened and Cassidy walked out, followed by steam from the shower, she had a towel wrapped around her body and hair, I walked over and handed her a cup of coffee, "Thanks" she said quietly before taking a couple of sips and going to get changed, "Aus?" She shouted on me from the bunks, "Yeah?" I asked standing outside the curtain, "Does this look alright?" She asked, pulling the curtain back I walked in, she looked stunning, I smiled, "Yeah, it looks amazing" I said nodding, she looked at me and smiled, "Thanks" she said before she walked out, I closely followed, I heard Phil wolf whistle at her, causing her to laugh and throw a pillow at him, I rolled my eyes and sat beside her, I got as text from Ben Barlow, Neck Deep;

Hey dude, everyone is at the Barbecue, where you at?

Sent: 5:00pm
We're about to head over now, we'll be there in 5

I looked at everyone as we exited, Aaron, Phil and Tino were wearing black jeans and a plain black t-shirt, I was wearing ripped black jeans and black tank with Create Music. on it where as Alan was wearing black jeans and JD (Jack Daniels) top and beanie. We reached the tent about 5:10pm, everyone was talking and mingling, I saw that Cassidy was getting nervous, I pulled her to me by wrapping an arm around her waist, "You'll be fine, just chill" I whispered, she nodded and smiled, I saw Ben over at the food table so I took her over there as there were less people there, "Hey Ben!" I said, bro hugging him, he smiled and looked at Cassidy confused, "Ben this is my best friend, Cassidy, Cass this is Ben from Neck Deep" I said, they shook hands before she launched herself back into my grip, she watched me as I was laughing with Ben, "I'm going to go get a hot dog, you want one?" I asked, she shook her head and I nodded, kissing her head before leaving her alone, I watched her closely as Alan came over and started talking with her, I saw that she relaxed a bit with Alan there but not as relaxed as she was when I was there, Alan ran away and she pulled her phone out of her bag, I turned my back for a minute and when I turned back around she was speaking to Katelynne Quinn, "Hey, I'm Katelynne, but all my friends call me Kate!" She said introducing herself, Cassidy smiled and shook Katelynne's extended hand, "Cassidy" she smiled, "But all my friends call me Cass" she said laughing a little before walking away with Katelynne to sit at the table, I smiled, I was happy knowing that she had someone to talk to now, "Hey Austin" a familiar voice said, I turned around and saw Vic Fuentes standing there, he was shorter than I had remembered, "Hey Vic, what's up man!?" I asked, shaking his hand and hugging him, "Nothing much, how's life been?" He asked, I nodded smiling, glancing at Cass for a second, "Yeah, it's been good to me" I said, he smiled and laughed before turning around and grabbing a second cup for me, "You drinking?" He asked, I smiled and nodded, grabbing the cup from him and drinking some, "So rumor is your playing Main Stage?" I asked, walking over to the table with him and sitting down, "Yeah, we're stoked, well I say we but I don't actually know where the rest of my band is?" He laughed, I laughed back, "Yeah me too" I said looking around and only seeing Cassidy, well if I'm honest, I was only looking for her, "I heard you've got a little someone with you?" Jaime asked as he sat next to Vic, I laughed, looking into my drink and nodded, "Yeah, Cassidy, she's been a really good friend to me the past couple of years as I have to her" I said looking up at him and smiling, they were both nodding and laughed a little, "No no, it's nothing like that, I can promise you" I said, they weren't convinced and to be quite honest, I wasn't convinced myself.
