*Austin's POV*

"Come in!" I shouted as I was trying my shoes, I saw Cassidy's shoes appear in front of me, "Hey, you're bacon is over there" I said pointing my head over to the plate at the side of the cooker, she walked over and started eating it like she hadn't ate anything in weeks, "Mike doesn't feed you?" I asked sitting up straight, she rolled her eyes, "How do I tell him that I don't like to eat in front of people?" She asked with her back to me, I shrugged, "By saying hey, I don't like eating in front of people?" I said laughing a little, I could feel her roll her eyes before she turned around and wiped her mouth, "Where you going?" She asked looking around for everyone else, "Sound check, you coming?" I asked her, she smiled softly and nodded, "You're very color coordinated today" I said looking at her outfit, "Well thank you" she said taking my water out of my hand and taking a sip, "Thanks" she said handing it back to me, "What did Mike say when you told him I was moving to San Diego?" I asked, she just shrugged, "He's excited about it" she said, I looked at her and nodded, "Cool, did you go to catering with him/." I asked, she nodded and smiled at her feet, "Yeah, I also shaved him" she laughed, I looked at her confused, "What?" I asked laughing little, "He was about to shave and I used to shave my Grandfather and I asked if I could do it and he let me so now his face is as smooth as a baby's butt" she smiled, I laughed a little at how adorable they two are, "Cass, you're on in five minutes" I told Cassidy, she smiled and grabbed a microphone, taking deep breathes and walking back and forward at the side of the stage as she watched everyone crowd in, I went up behind her slowly, so I didn't scare her, "Hey, you'll be fine" I told her squeezing her shoulders, she nodded and smiled before walking on, I heard heavy footsteps behind me, I turned to see Mike running this way, "Is here?" He asked, I pointed to the stage, he nodded looking on edge, "Is everything okay?" I asked, he looked at me, "What? Huh, yeah, yeah I'm fine" he said, he didn't seem too sure about that but before I could ask him anything else I was being pushed on to stage by everyone. After what felt like 10 minutes of playing the set was finally over, when I was coming off I immediately started looking around for Cassidy, she always stays and watches our set, without fail, "Hey Mark, have you seen Cassidy?" I asked our stage manager, he nodded, "She said something about meeting her at the tour bus" he shrugged, thanked him and headed over there, when I got on the bus I could hear her in the back.

When I walked through I saw her wiping her face and sniffing as she packed her suitcase, "Cass" I said as I walked up to her, she looked up and smiled, "What's going on?" I asked, she pursed her lips and her leg started to shake, it does that when she's trying to say something but she can't get it out, "Okay, calm down and breathe" I said grabbing her shoulders and sitting her down, "The weather back in San Diego is really bad, like thunderstorms, Mr Fuentes was driving home from work when a tree fell and a tree fell and hit his car, he's in hospital and Mike asked me to come with him, so you're going back to Palm Springs, yourself" she said wiping her eyes, I nodded understandingly and stood up, I walked through to the bathroom and gathered her things and put them in her suitcase, she thanked me before folding a couple more clothes and putting them in her suitcase before zipping it up, there was a horn outside of the bus, I pulled back the curtain and saw Pierce The Veil's bus, "I'll see you in San Diego then" I said to Cassidy, she smiled and nodded, "Thank you for everything, I've had the time of my life, I'm sorry about Frenchi and things, but I mean what can you do?" She laughed, I nodded tears in my eyes, "Text me when you get to San Diego" I said, she nodded before pulling me in to a hug, "Bye Austin" she whispered in my ear, "Bye Cassidy" I whispered back before she broke away and she walked out with her suitcase, I watched as she was met by Mike, who looked like he had been crying, he took her suitcase from her and they both went on to the bus, as the bus was pulling away everyone waved out of the window, I waved back but I don't think they saw me, I took a deep breath before I saw Tino, Alan, Aaron and Phil running towards the bus, "Where's Cassidy going?" Alan asked trying to catch his breath, "Umm she has to go home due to personal reasons" I said smiling at them, they nodded trying to catch their breath, "But good news, she's moving to San Diego" I said sitting down, "Really, that's great where is she going to stay?" Phil asked, "With Mike, obviously" I shrugged, they nodded once again before Aaron got 5 beers out of the fridge, "Did you tell her you're moving to San Diego?" Aaron asked handing me a beer, I nodded, "Yeah, she was fine with it" I said taking a sip of my beer, I put it down and got up, "I'm gonna go pack" I said walking through to the bunks, I sat on the edge of Cassidy's bed, hoping that she is okay.

*Cassidy's POV*

"Bye Austin" I whispered in his ear, choking back the tears, "Bye Cassidy" Austin whispered back before we pulled away and I walked out, I felt Austin's eyes watch me as Mike came running out, "You ready, princess?" He asked sniffing and taking my suitcase from me, I smiled and nodded before taking his hand and letting him lead me on to the bus, when I got on it was silent, everyone looked up at me and smiled as I made my way through to the bunks, Mike grabbed a water out of the fridge and followed me, "Just dump your suitcase there" Mike said pointing to an empty bed, I smiled and nodded before throwing it on the bed, "I was going to take a nap" Mike said pointing to his bed, "I could sleep" I said quietly, he smiled and got undressed as did I, I pulled on one of Mike's shirts and climbed in beside him, "Are you okay?" I asked him as I cuddled into his cold, bare chest, I felt him nod, "I'll be better when I see him for myself" he murmured into my hair, I looked up at him and saw tears in his eyes, I felt so helpless, suddenly a tear fell from his eye, I've never actually seen Mike cry before until today, "No, no, don't cry" I whispered, wiping his face, he laughed a little, "I hate seeing you upset" I said rubbing his smooth face, thanks to me, "I hate being upset in front of you" he said taking a hold of my hand and kissing it, "I don't mind, it's good to show a little emotion now and again" I said smiling at him, he nodded and smiled back, "Get some sleep" he whispered kissing my lips quickly before pulling me close to him and closing his eyes, "Mike" I said, I heard him sigh as he opened his eyes again, "I love you" I said, his eyes suddenly lit up as if I just made his day, I giggled a little at how three simple words could turn somebody's day from bad to better, "I love you too" he smiled before kissing my head and closing his eyes again.
