*Mike's POV*

"Guys this is-" Austin announced but I cut him off as soon as I saw her face, "Frenchi!?" I asked horrified, she looked at me with a smug smile before looking looking Cassidy up and down with a disgusted look on her face, thankfully Cassidy never noticed, Frenchi looked terrible I guess drugs really do make you worse for wear? I slowly put my arm around Cassidy and pulled her closer to me, but she shrugged free, "Hi I'm Cassidy, Austin's best friend" she said extending her hand, I sighed and mentally slapped myself, Cassidy had no idea what she was getting into by befriending her, "Frenchi" she said shaking her hand with a fake smile, "So you're the famous Cassidy, I've heard so much about you" Frenchi smiled, Cassidy just nodded slightly and walked back into my arms, "I would love to stay and chat but I need to go sound check with the guys, baby you coming?" I asked Cassidy hoping she said yes, she smiled and nodded at me, "It was so nice to meet you" Cassidy said waving a small goodbye to Frenchi, "Yeah, like wise" she said with another fake smile as Cassidy hugged Austin, "Take care of her" she whispered into Austin's ear, he nodded and hugged her back, "Catch you later man" he said waving to me, "Yeah, catch" I waved back before wrapping my arm around Cass and walking as far away from they two as fast as I could, "So you know Frenchi?" She asked while I set up my drum kits, "Oh, he knows Frenchi" Jaime butted in, winking, I rolled my eyes as I tightened the screws on the drums, Cassidy gave me a confused look, "What is he talking about?" Cassidy asked getting a little anxious, "So I had a small fling with her, it was nothing?" I shrugged putting the screwdriver in my mouth, "What! My best friend is dating your ex-girlfriend?" She asked standing up from my stool, I sighed and stood up placing the screwdriver down, "Look it's not a big deal, maybe she's changed?" I said scratching the back of my neck, "Changed? What do you mean 'changed'?" Cassidy asked clearly getting angry, "Oh you didn't know? Frenchi only dated Mike for sex, money and drugs, she totally used him and then ditched him when she found someone else to rumble" Jaime shrugged, I shot him a dead look, "Hey Jaime, why don't you go get me some water?" I asked through gritted teeth, he looked at me confused, "But that's what the wat-" he said but I cut him off, "Water, now!" I said a little louder, he nodded understandingly and rushed off, "Like I said she could have changed but it's not likely" I said, I watched Cassidy's expression drop from angry to somber, she sighed and nodded she opened her mouth to say something but shut it when she saw Vic, "Umm Mike, we need to talk" he said, I looked at him with an annoyed expression, "What?" I asked he sighed, "Frenchi came here looking for you last night and hooked up with Austin" he said quickly, I sighed and turned around to look at Cassidy but she was gone, I saw her running down the steps from the stage and across towards catering, "Shit" I muttered chasing after her.

"CASS!" I shouted as I was catchy up to her, "CASSIDY!!" I shouted again but she kept running, eventually I grabbed her wrist and she halted to a stop, when she turned around she looked like she could kill someone, "You can't do this" I said breathing heavily, "Not here, not in front of everyone" I said, she looked at me like I was stupid, "I'm not going to hit her, I'm going to warn Austin?" She said, turning back around and about to run away but I held her wrist and spun her around, "You can't he won't listen, trust me I've been there before" I said, she looked at me with a blank expression and nodded, "Fine, but if this goes any further, we tell him, together" she said, I nodded in agreement before taking her hand, "Can I watch you play?" She asked looking at me with puppy eyes, "Hmmm suppose so" I said smiling at her, she giggled and clapped a little before running ahead of me, jumping on Jaime and hugging him, "HIME TIME!" She shouted as he hugged her back and set her down, "Hey, you introducing our set?" He asked, she shrugged and looked at me as I stood behind her, I nodded, "If you want to?" I asked, she smiled back at me, "Is that a yes?" I asked, she smiled and kissed me quickly before running over to Vic, "You've got a good one there" Jaime said slapping my back, I nodded as I watched her and Vic laugh and play pat-a-cake, "Okay everyone get ready!" Steve the stage manager shouted, Vic and Cassidy came shouting over as we watched everyone pile in, there was a massive buzz coming from the crowd but they went silent when they heard Cassidy tap the microphone, "You ready?" I asked, she took a deep breath and nodded before giving me a quick kiss and running on stage, "Hello San Diego!!" She shouted as she stood in the middle of the stage, everyone screamed, loud, "Do you know who lives in San Diego!?" She shouted and everyone called out Pierce The Veil, "No me" she laughed as did everyone else, "Okay lets get this show on the road, put your hands together for PIERCE THE VEIL!!" She shouted before high fiving everyone, I quickly leaned down and gave her a quick kiss, the crowd erupted in 'Awe's', Cassidy and I just laughed a little before taking our seats, mine behind my drums and hers at the side of the stage.

*Cassidy's POV*

As I was watching the guys play their second song I got a text from Austin, asking me to meet him at catering, I agreed and slyly left telling Steve to tell Mike I got hungry and just to meet me at catering when he was done, when I got to catering I couldn't see Austin anywhere, I suddenly spotted Katelynne walking from SWS's bus, "Katelynne!" I shouted waving her over she smiled and walked over to me, "What's up?" She asked picking up a cup and taking a sip, "Where's Austin?" I asked, she looked at me like I was crazy, "They're playing their set" She said, I shook my head, "No Austin literally texted me five minutes ago telling me to meet him at catering" I said looking at my phone to make sure that I was correct, I was, "Cass they started playing 30 minutes ago?" She said, I sighed and nodded, "Okay, thank you" I said walking past her, "Are you okay?" She asked as I rubbed my face, I smiled and nodded, "I'm gonna go for a lie down" I said hugging her goodbye quickly and heading over to OM&M's bus, when I arrived the door was locked but I remembered I had a key, I used it and walked on, I saw Frenchi asleep in my bunk and beside her was Austin's phone, I swear I could've killed her then and there, I slowly backed out without waking her up and rushed over to PTV's, thankfully it was open, I walked through to the bunk sand climbed into Mike's, it was clear it was Mike's because there was a Harry Potter duvet set on it, I flicked my shoes off and lay under the covers just thinking about what I just saw, I came to a conclusion that Frenchi was trying to ruin Austin and I's friendship so that she could use him and he wouldn't listen to me because she knows that Mike would have told me everything she's done, I felt tears starting to prick my eyes as I thought about Austin and I falling out, she couldn't do that, could she? I sighed as I slowly started to fall asleep.
