Jaime’s POV

So today is Katie’s birthday and were all Mike’s right now because that’s who Katie decided to stay with because she felt closer to him. We’re just waiting on Katie to wake up. We had all the guys here plus some other bands like SWS, OM&M, MIW, BMTH. We have alcohol here because we found out about Katie having a fake ID about 3 months ago when we saw her at a club. About 5 minutes later Katie comes down wearing a black veil brides shirt and jeans. She sat down on the couch beside Vic. “Guys you really didn’t have to do anything for my birthday” She said as she crossed her legs “Well we don’t listen” I said. “Clearly” She said. “HEY!!!” Me and the rest of the band said in unison. “Come on, let's just have fun then” Tony said “Alright” Katie said as she got up and poured some jack daniels into a red cup. She walked over to the stereo and plugs up her phone and Slipknot blasts through the speakers.


Katie’s POV

I was siting down in the guest bedroom which was my room and just thinking. I think I like Tony, I mean it’s stupid because he doesn’t feel the same about me but I still love him. I see Mike pass by “Hey Mike, come here, close the door behind you though” I say as he walks in and closes the door. “Whats up?” He asks me as he sits down in front of me on the bed. “Okay promise me you won’t say anything?” I saw to him. “Depends on what it is” He says “Okay so, I think I like Tony” I say. “Really” Mike says as I nod. “But I don’t think that he likes me back, I mean look at me” I say. “Whats wrong with you” Mike says. “Everything, Im ugly, fat and just useless” I say. “No you’re not. You are an amazing wonderful and beautiful girl, if Tony doesn’t feel the same that’s his loss” He says as he puts his arms around me. “Thanks Mike” I say to him. “Let me see your arm” Mike says to me as he pulls away from the hug. I roll up my sleeve to show my faded scars. “I’m proud of you Katie, you’ve kept your promise of being clean” Mike says as he looks at me and smiles then kisses my cheek. “Alright now, get up and get dressed then come downstairs for your party” Mike says as he walks out, shutting the door behind him. The guys really didn’t have to do anything for me. I think to myself as I get up and take a shower. I step out of the shower and dry my hair. I dry the rest of me and get dressed into a black veil brides tee shirt and skinny jeans. I do my make up and then walked downstairs and sat down on the couch beside Vic. “Guys you really didn’t have to do anything for my birthday” I said as I crossed my legs “Well we don’t listen” Jaime said. “Clearly” I said. “HEY!!!” ptv said in unison. “Come on, lets just have fun then” Tony said “Alright” I said as I got up and poured some Jack Daniels into a red cup then walked over to the stereo and plugged up my phone and let Slipknot blast through the speakers. A little while later we were all kinda drunk but we still knew our surroundings. “Present timeeee” Jaime said as he sat down. “Guys really, I don’t need anything” I said as I sat down between Mike and Jaime. Well we don’t care what you say, now here's your gift from the four of us” Vic said as he handed me a box. I sighed as I opened it up. Inside was a ticket and an all access pass for Slipknot’s concert in 2 days. “Aww thanks guys!! I love you!” I said as I put them in my lap. Next Ricky gave me a little box saying that it was from all of them. I opened it up and inside was a beautiful heart necklace. “Yeah Kayla actually picked this out for you because we pretty much had no idea what to get you” Chris said as he lightly laughed. “I still love it, but I would have been happy with something from hot topic” I said as Chris helped put the necklace on me. “TOLD YOU!! But you guys were like “Nooo it’s too cheap for us to get that for her on her 18th birthday” Ghost said as the rest of the guys laughed. “Whatever” Balz said. “See next time you just might have to listen to him, he may be shy and quiet but he can be smart, surprisingly” I said. “HEY!” Ghost said as he playfully hit my arm. “Love you too!” I said as I laughed along with the rest of the guys. After the laughter had died down Austin handed me a box that read from all of us <3. I opened it up and inside was 3 Of Mice & Men tee shirts. “Really?” I said as I pulled each shirt out and looked at it. “Yes now shut up and be happy with the band merch” Alan said. “Okay I guess I have no choice but to wear the shirts from this shitty band” I said as I put the shirts back and pretended to be disgusted. “Haha very funny” Aaron said as we all laughed. “I know I’m just so hilarious” I say as I put the box by my feet and leaned back into the couch. Justin then handed me a box that read, From all of us! Love you!<3. I opened the box and inside was a sleeping with sirens all access pass. “YOUR ARE NEW MERCH GIRL!” Sleeping all said in unison. “Wait seriously?” I asked excited. “Yup, and we leave for tour in a month” Kellin said as he fixed his hair so that it wasn’t in his eyes. “Thanks guys” I said as I put the lanyard around my neck for now. Next Oli gave me a little box that read Happy Birthday Katie! I opened it up and inside was a charm bracelet that had a guitar and microphone charm on it, along with a heart charm. “Yeah ptv told us that you can sing and play guitar so we got you those charms” Lee said as the rest of bring me agreed. “Aww thanks guys, and the rest of you guys thanks for the gifts, even though I don’t really need anything” I said. “Well with our you kind did need” Kellin said as I agreed. “This is honestly the best birthday I’ve had” I said as I smiled. “Well you deserve it, you’ve had a lot of bad birthdays back at the foster home so we gave you this” Vic said as he motioned to everybody in the room. The party continued, Vic called everyone into the kitchen for cake. Everybody sang happy birthday and they all sounded off key but I didn’t care, I’m happy and that’s all that matters. I blew out the candle and then everybody got a piece of cake and sat down and ate them. I sat down between Kellin and Gabe as we all just talked about random things and enjoyed each others company. Later on everybody left except for sleeping. “Okay so Katie about the tour we will talk to you more about that later, like what you need to do and everything like that” Kellin said as I nodded, they left a few minutes later. I went upstairs and went into my room and put the gifts on my dresser. I put the bracelet on and and put on a pair of my fuzzy socks because why not. There was a knock at my door so I told whoever it was to come in. “Hey Katie” Tony said as he entered my room. “What's up Tony?” I asked as I sat down on my bed. “Can I tell you something?” He asks as he sits down in front of me on my bed. “Of course” I say to him.

Tony’s POV

After everybody left Katie went upstairs to her room so I stayed and thought to myself about Katie, I think that I’m in love with her. I mean she’s beautiful and sweet and amazing in everyway. “Yo Tony” I heard Mike say. I get back into reality and see that it’s just me and Mike. “You gonna leave or talk to Katie?” He asked me. “Talk to Katie about what?” I say confused. “Tell her that you love her, because I know you do” Mike said as he looked at me. “How?” I asked. “The way you look at her, I can see it in your eyes” Mike says to me. “But what if she doesn’t feel the same?” I say. “Trust me, she will” Mike says like he’s so sure. “What makes you so sure?” I ask. “I just am” He replies. “Whatever” I say as I get up from where I was sitting and make my way upstairs to Katie’s room`and knocked. when she said come in I opened up the door and saw her by her dresser. “Hey Katie” I said as she turned to me. “What up Tony?” She asks as she sits on her bed. God she looked beautiful. “Can I tell you something?” I ask her as I sit down on her bed in front of her. “So… ummm Katie.. I kinda really like you, like a lot and pretty much when I first saw you I just fell in love, you’re an amazing sweet and funny person who loves to have fun and make people smile. So what I’m pretty much saying is Katie, will you be my girlfriend?” I ask as I look at her with hope filled eyes. She looks at me and smile her beautiful smile. “Yes” She says as she leans forward and presses her lips to mine. I kiss back and put my hands on her waist. Her lips are warm and just amazing. Sparks went off in the kiss and I felt as if I was on cloud 9. She pulled away seconds later and I looked at her and smiled. “I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 6 for movies at my place?” I ask her. “Yes” She says as she smiles at me. God I love her smile. I think to myself as I kiss her lips again. I feel her smile into the kiss and it makes me smile. She’s finally mine.
