One chance

Austin's P.O.V~

I paced back and forth from the bunk room. I couldn't stand seeing Scarlett with someone,especially Ben. It's been 8 years since the last time I've seen her. She hadn't changed a bit. Pale skin,gorgeous emerald green eye's and her long waveguide black curls. She was beautiful and still is. It hurt me knowing that I hurt her,but I was certain That this whole band life wasn't healthy for a relationship. But now she's in a band to,I hope she gave me a second chance to show that it's different now. That I'm different now.


The buss door opened,I heard footsteps walking to the back. "Alan,I thought you were at the party" I said. The bunk door opened and surprisingly it wasn't Alan. It was, Scarlett? "Scarlett?" I raised my eyebrow. She smiled at me. "I thought maybe we could talk" she spoke softly. "I thought we had nothing to talk about" I walked to the back Lounge. She sighed following me , sitting beside me. "Not about.....that. Why'd you leave the party?" She asked. I sighed rubbing my face, "Scar,i, I still love you" she was shocked by my words as was I. "You,love me" she whispered. I sighed getting frustrated.


"Don't you get it!?" Now I was mad. "I stopped you back at the party because,because I never stopped loving you Scarlett! Every girl I dated after you,it wasn't the same. All I ever wanted was to be back with you. I could never get you out of my mind after we broke up. Every day I wondered about you." She had tears in her eyes and I automatically felt bad. I sighed "I'm sorry-" I was cut off by her lips crashing into mine. I wasn't hesitant about responding. My hand rested on her waste and as my other hand traced tiny circles on her cheek. She pulled back catching her breath. "I still love you to" she rested her forehead on mine.


I wiped her tears from under her eyes. "I was jealous seeing you with Ben dancing . I know I shouldn't have but I did" I admitted. She smiled "Austin,you know I didn't do it on purpose" she said. I smiled shaking my head "I know but I couldn't help but be it" I laughed as did she.


We talked for a while. Catching up on the things we've done. It was late by then and no one had come back yet. "I think I should go now it's pretty late" she smiled. I nodded standing up with her. I walked her to her buss. We stood infornt of the door for a bit. "I hope we can hang out tomorrow" I said hoping she agreed. "I'd love that" she smiled. Before I turned to get back she pecked my lips. Since I was taller she stood on her toes. I smiled as she ran inside.


I had fallen,maybe even deeper for her.
