One chance

Scarlett brushed her long black wavy hair. Her band was invited to go on tour as a new band. There manager wanted them to get big. Bands like Bring me the horizon, Bless the falls , Memphis May fire and Pierce the Veil, were also included. She had butterflies I her stomach,she was excited but also nervous. "hey Scar, you alright?" Her band mate, Zach asked sitting across from her. She smiled and nodded , "just some preshow jiders , is all" he nodded putting his full attention to his phone. She sighed standing and going to the back room of their tour buss.


She looked out the window seeing a bunch of other bus's kind up. They finally arrived, she grew excited. But so did her butterflies. The buss came to a holt. A smile speed across Scarlett 's face as she ran out the buss. Is was a big venue. Tents,bus's and people with amps and all sorts of equipment everywhere. "I'm going to look around for a little guys be back soon" she yelled to the rest of her band.

Scarlett has been walking for a while now. She jumped when out of no where, "Hi!" A tall guy,Mexican for sure dimples and spiky hair said. She giggled , "hello" she said barely above a whisper. "I'm Jaime, pronounced Hi-me. My band is Pierce the veil" he smiled widely. Scarlett didn't feel shy anymore. Maybe its because of his outgoing personality made her feel comfortable. "I'm Scarlett,pronounced Scar-let" she joked which made him giggle. He was cute. "my band is Dark skies, we're new in the band industry" she smiled. "well welcome aboard let me show you around."


Jaime showed Scarlett around for a while. Meeting new bands. So far she's met the rest of PTV, Kellin Quinn and the rest of his band and Oli Sykes of BMTH. Jaime had left her a few bands back chatting. She was ok with it though, it gave her some courage to meet other new people. As she looked around she bumped into a person. "oh my bad" she apologized.

"It's alright,hi my names Aaron,from Of Mice and Men" he smiled. She smiled back, the band name sound an odd to familiar. She brushed off though,"Hi,I'm Scarlett from Dark skies,we're a new band" she introduced herself. The shook hands and chatted for a bit. Aaron took her to meet the rest of the band. They stood in front of a buss with the a & logo. A ginger, black hair bearded guy, and long brown curly hair guy stood outside smoking a cigarette. "Hey guys, this is my new friend Scarlett she's a newbie" Aaron joked. She smiled each greeting her. "Where's slender legs" Aaron asked. "last time I checked sleeping" Alan said. Aaron excused himself heading inside.


The boy's and Scarlett chatted amongst them selves. The door opened, out coming a tall dark hair man. Tattoos covering most of his skin. Scarlett turned around , her eyes nearly popped out. Austin stayed quite walking down step by step. There eyes locked. Standing before her,Austin Carlile,her ex the one who left her for his band. "Aus,this is Scarlett she and her band are new here" Alan said. None said a word just stood staring at one another.


Finally her had the courage to say something, "Scar,is that you?" He asked taking a step forward. Her breath hitched and she turned on her heels and ran. "Scar! Scar!" Austin yelled for her but she kept running.
She wasn't ready to see him. Not after 8 years,her first true love. The one she spent everyday and every knight talking over the phone with. The one she trusted and he trusted,that promised her no matter what he would stay.

The one who broke that promise.
