When you log into google, your email acts as your "password". That's why you have to login to your email first before you can log into a fanfic site account. Your account is verified by your email.

Here's the thing: when you try to log onto the site through Facebook instead of google, it asks you to confirm that the app can look at your friends list, infox and EMAIL!

Since the site will look at your email by going through either Facebook or Google, it will both say that your Facebook email should match up with your google email (as long as you use the same email that you log into Facebook with as your log into your email with. If both of these are the same, it will work!)
