Chapter 5

*THE NEXT DAY*

Katie’s POV

I woke up to Tony’s arms wrapped around me. I carefully got out of his grip and looked at what I was wearing. I was still in Tony’s shirt, it covered up my but mostly but I didn’t care as I went downstairs to find Jamie downstairs. “Hey” I said as I sat down. “Hey Katie, oh by the way we put you clothes up in your private room on the flooor. The stuff is still in the bags” Jamie said. “Private room?” I said confussed. “Yeah its a room for you to sleep in when it’s your free days” He said explaining. “Oh okay, where is it?” I asked. “Follow me I’ll show you” Jamie said as he walked upstairs and I followed him. We came to a door and Jamie opened it letting me in. It was a large room with white walls there wasn’t anything in the room it was empty. “Where is everything?” I asked walking into the room. “We decided not to put it all in there until you paint the walls if you want to. We were going to paint it but we don’t know your favorite color so we just left it white” Jamie said. “Well my favorite colors are black, red and blue, do you think that I can do all three colors?” I asked. “Yeah, well go out today to buy the paint, we have the stuff like the bed and the dressers in your closet” He said walking me over to this huge walk-in closet. “Wow” I said. “Hey, so I guess you showed Katie the room?” Vic said as he walked in. “Yeah, she decided on painting the room black, red and blue, her 3 favorite colors” Jamie said. “Cool so when everybody gets up we’ll all get ready and go to the store to buy the paint” Vic said. “Can we go out to eat breakfast?” I asked. “Yeah we can” Vic said as I walked over to the door. “Can I paint the door too?” I asked looking at it. “Yeah, if you want to” Vic said as we all went downstairs to see everybody in the living room. “Hey guys were all going to the store to get paint for Katie’s room, were getting black, red and blue” Vic said as I went upstairs into my room and grabbed the bag sitting on the floor looking through it. I pulled out a Pierce The Veil tee and black ripped skinny jeans with black vans. I walked into the bathroom and changed. I walked out grabbing Tony’s shirt and walking to his room putting it on his bed walking out and back downstairs. “Aww you look so cute!” Mike said to me. “Did we get the sizes right?” Vic asked. “Yeah, you know I like other bands besides you guys right?” I said. “Yeah but we didn’t know what bands you liked so we just got our band.” Jamie said. “Am I going to have to go into Hot Topic with you guys?” I said. “Yeah we can actually go when we go to get your paints” Tony said as they all got up and went and got dressed. They came back 5 minutes later. “Alright so Katie you can come with me, and Jamie, while Tony and Mike go in his car” Vic said as Tony’s and Vic got their keys out. We all walked out, Vic shutting and locking the door behind us. “SHOTGUN!!!” I yelled as I ran to Vic’s car. I came here in his car so I knew what it looked like. I sat in the front and Jamie sat in the back as we were on our way to the mall. Vic had the radio on and I was singing the songs I kne. “We didn’t know you could sing?” Jamie said. “Yeah I do this whenever I’m in a good mood or just whenever” I said as we pulled into the mall parking lot 20 minutes later. We got out and I jumped on Mike’s back as we all walked in. We walked into Hot Topic and we walked around, I was still on Mike’s back so it was easy for me to grab things because I was short. “Hey Vic hand me that Slipknot tee please, size small” I said as he looked through and gave me a small. I reached behind me and put the hanger through my pants loop and told Mike to walk as I grabbed more small tees and size 3 jeans putting them on my belt loops and on the back of my shirt. Mike went over to the earrings and I bought a BVB ear cuff and some other earrings. Once were were done Tony grabbed the clothes from my belt loops and shirt and put it on the counter and the guys paid for them. They guys grabbed the bags as we walked out of the mall. I got off of Mike’s back and walked back to Vic’s car as we drove to the store to get paint.

Chapter 4

Once we got there we walked out, this time I jumped on Jamie’s back. “First you jump on Mike’s back now Jamie’s, are you that lazy?” Vic says. “Yes I am” I say as we enter the store. We grab a bucket of black paint a bucket of red paint paint and a bucket of blue paint. We grab brushes and some painters tape. We also grab small paint brush rollers(by that I mean skinny ones) and the a painters tarp along with some cups to put paint in. The guys then pay for the stuff. They hold the paint and I hold the bag of the paint brushes an tape. I climb off of Jamie and enter the car and drive somewhere to eat. A while later we finish and leave the place walking to the cars and drive back home. Vic and Tony pull into the driveway about 10-15 minutes later. We grab the bags and exit the vehicals and walk to the door unlocking it and entering the house. “Tony is it okay if I set my stuff in your room for a while?” I ask him. “Yeah, thats fine” he says as I go upstairs and place my bag of clothes on the floor by the door. “Hey can we go ahead and start painting?” I ask the guys. “Yeah we just have to change into clothes we don’t mind getting paint on and you do to” Jamie said as Tony got up and went upstairs coming back down with an old tshirt and sweats handng them to me I walk upstairs with the guys following suit. I walk into my room and enter the bathroom getting dressed. I roll the sweats up at the hem 3 times so it would stay and exit the bathroom, the guys enter seconds later with the paiting materials in their hands. They all set the tarp on the ground and put the paint on the ground. Mike gives everybody the tape. I start at the bottom and work my way up until I can’t reach anymore then I feel myself being lifted up on someones shoulders. I look down to see Mike as I finish up as much as I can as I’m put back on the ground. “Thanks Mike” I say. “No problem” he says. “We should get ladders” Jamie says as he and the guys walk out to go grab them. They came back with a ladder a few minutes later and set it down and went to grab another one. The set one buy me I climb it and fix the tape moving on to another. About 30 minutes later we finished the tape. I start with the black paint working on the bottom. I plan on doing three stripes. “I paint the bottom or as far as I can reach you guys get the rest” I said as I slowly stood up to paint the wall. “Yeah” Mike said as he and the rest of the guys began working. The guys help me put paint into the cups and the paint roller buckets as I grab my brush grabbing a cups and began to paint. I stand up beside Tony and continue to paint.”Okay so if were doing three then just paint one black skip three then paint again and so on and so on” I say as the guys say okay and go back to painting. I stand up next to Tony to finish up my stripe when I feel paint on my arm, I look over to see who had done it to see Tony laughing. “Really?!” I say laughing as well. “Yes” Tony says as he goes back to painting. A while later we finish paint the black stripes and move on to the red paint. We grab new cups and new paint rollers doing the same thing as last time with the paint as we grab the cups and begin to paint. 30 minutes later we finished up the red paint and we wait for the paint to dry befor doing the blue. We take the tape off trowing it away as Mike goes an throws it away and the guys all wak downstairs. I grab a small brush and a cup of blue and black paint as I walk to the white door. I paint the words KATIE in pretty cursive writing in blue paint. I grab a new small brush and dip it into the black paint. I paint a skull and cross bone with a ribbon below him saying DO OR DIE in cursive writing. I leave the skull as decideding not to color it in as I walk downstairs and sit on the couch as we all wait for the paint to dry. “Did you paint the door like you said you were going to do?” Vic says. “Yeah I catually finished, you guys wanna see?” I say. “Sure” Jamie says as the guys all get up and walk upstairs to my room and look at the door. “Wow, you painted that??” Mike says. “Yeah” I say “You should be a painter or something” Tony says as the guys agree. “I was actually thinking of being a tattoo artist, but I never applied to be one” I said. “Well I think that you should apply for one, there’s a tattoo shop around here so you can ask them” Jamie says. “Alright can we go there tomorrow?” I ask. “Yeah, we can” Tony says as we walk back down and wait sitting on the couch.
