Purple Pills

Chapter 5

Obviously I wasn’t going to listen to Austin. Don’t get me wrong. I had a huge crush on him, but he doesn’t control my life. As soon as I woke up this morning I got a call, asking for 4 grams. As I do everyone else I tell them to meet me in the usual spot. The fact that I’ve got one of the biggest coke empires going on in the state of Washington and I have yet to be caught amazes me.

I threw on a black hoodie and walked down the street to my location. The guy handed me my money and I handed him the coke and began walking back to my house. Only to be stopped by the one and only Ricky. “Ricky.” I groaned and rolled my eyes. “Where’d you get that stash?” He asked. “It’s none of your damn business.” I hissed and began walking back to my house. Where standing at my door, was Austin fucking Carlile. “Austin.” “Jose what did I tell you?! You need to get to work.” He said and pushed me inside of my car. “Are you coming?” I asked him and he nodded.

He hopped into the passenger side of my Matte Dark Cherry Red Audi R8. “We need to have a talk.” He spoke and I rolled my eyes. “No Austin. We don’t. I’m doing perfectly fine on my own. I’m set up well. My life is on track. I don’t need shit.” I growled at him. “Josephine. I only want to help because I like you and I believe in you.” “Well I’ve given up on me, and you should too.” I said and turned the music up. It was Blackbear. They were so good. I’d kill to see them live.

Honestly, I don’t go to many concerts. I’d rather just stream it, less hassle, less people. But I know Austin has got another concert tonight and I do want to go. “I do want concert tickets though.” I spoke, breaking the silence. “Buy them yourself, since your life is ‘on track’.” He laughed. I handed him my phone, “Here. Find them online and buy em. Texting and driving is bad.” I said and play punched him.

“Done.” He said and handed me my phone, “Show them your screen and it’ll be used as your ticket.” We pulled into the parking lot of my coffee shop. There were already a couple of people outside. “Nothing is ready yet but I can let you guys inside.” I smiled awkwardly at them and unlocked the doors. “This place is like a whole other world. Band members, small live concerts, cheap but good coffee, it’s amazing and we wanted to say thanks.” One of the girls said and smiled. “Yeah! Totally. It’s my pleasure.”

I turned on all of the coffee machines and started brewing. It was online like 50 degrees today, but that only meant more business. I don’t have seasonal drinks. You want something that I’ll sell around Valentine ’s Day on Halloween? Hell yeah! I hate seasonal drinks, so much. Sometimes I’ll be craving a raspberry frappe and Starbucks is like, “Oh sorry. We only sell that in February” To hell you do! Let me have a fucking raspberry frappe.

Notes

WOw I'm a horrible person. I ran across this fic and was like "Wow this is pretty good" Then I was pissed that there was only 4 chapters and then I realized I started writing this fic and realized it was amazing and why did I stop.
So! I'm going to try to start updating again
