I Never Meant To Hurt You

Yesterday had been one month after Marrissia's little "incident." She had finally snapped. Mar had always talked about suicide. The words were always on the edge of her tongue.

Mar was a cheerful person on the outside, but she was dark and mysterious once you got to know her. She was crazy. Yet, she was a genius. She had nearly figured out how to end it all.

How rude, I have yet to explain what happened and how she went upon carrying out the deed.
Mar was depressed. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in May. Six months later, after she had beaten the cancer, still lacking a full head of hair, she had begun planning. She would fill one dollar worth of gas into a five gallon tank every time she filled up her truck. Soon enough, the tank was full.

She waited a few weeks, waited until no one was home, sat in the empty pool and doused herself in the gasoline. She then lit a cigarette. I'm sure you can figure from there.

Many people plan their day thoroughly, but fail. The one time Anabelle would have. She had everything. The had the gun in her mouth, her finger on the trigger, she could taste the grease on the gun. She was ready. Just, something always stopped her.

Something in the end has stopped each of us from the inventible fate of death. Wether it be the little sister, the best friend, the dog down the street that would be dead, had you not been feeding it.

The point is, we've all put the gun back into the drawer, in our own personal way.

So, what didn't stop her from lighting the cigarette?

I do realize this chapter is very short. A personal preference of mine is to have shorter chapters more often. It helps he concentrate better.
