Repeating Apologies

Alan POV
"Alan?" I heard Austin croak next to me. I turned my head to look at his beautiful face, I had missed this. It was only 8 in the morning, so quite early for Austin to be awake.
"Yeah?" I replied with a smile.

Austin let out a sigh, "d-do you really-" he stopped and took a second to think, i furrowed my eyebrows but he continued. "I've been thinking about it, an-and i can't stop" .. "Do you really think, think I'm a monster?"
I was shocked at the sentence, of course i didn't think he was a monster, where would he get an idea- oh wait. Shit. I called him that, that night when shit went down. I scooped his face with my hands and placed a gentle kiss on his soft lips. "Of course not, you-you know i was drunk when i said it, i didn't mean it at all babe" i ensured. But then again, I know Austin went by the words 'A drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts'
But that isnt what i thought at all! not one bit! he was gentle and kind, not a monster.
"Austin, you're the best person i've ever met, you've changed my life completely for good. If it wasnt for you, id still be living with my parents, i wouldn't be in a band and i wouldn't get to live with my bestfriend and my hero. Better yet, i get to sleep in the same bed as my hero, and kiss him!" I smiled at him placing another kiss on his lips. It gained a smile and i saw his eyes sparkle.
"I love you kitten" he replied. I guess he didn't know what else to say, but to me, that was all i wanted to hear.

The next couple of days were mellow, no problems at home, no problems in the band. Infact the band just signed to a record label, so we were on our way up and really, things couldn't be better, or so I thought.

Me and Austin were walking round town like we often do, getting new clothes and such, it was nice. I loved being able to hold his hand in public and and do all these coupley things with him out in the open. No matter how many looks we got, we didn't care, we were too inlove.
We sat at the park for a bit, it was really nice weather, the pond was shimmering in the sunlight. "Alan?" Austin smiled at me, somewhat cheekily. "Yes?" I replied with a smile.
He stopped us walking and stood in front of me. I looked around, confused as anything but nothing was out of the ordinary. Then, he got down on one knee and my face heated up, i could feel my cheeks turning colour, what was he doing? oh god.
He cracked open his cheesy grin and pulled something out of his coat pocket. "will you make me the happiest guy in the world, and.."
I was waiting for it, oh my god, was he really going to ask, i was getting exciting even though i was so embarrassed i almost couldn't contain my excitement.
"Get a puppy with me?" He giggled whilst pulling out a small collar fit for a small puppy. I burst out giggling, somewhat happy it wasn't a proper proposal, not here. I nodded my head and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Of course"

So we got a puppy. I fell in love with it and realised I was falling deeper and deeper in love with Austin everyday, I wasn't sure how that was possible but I was not complaining.
