Before Death We May Part
Cairo’s P.O.V.
I looked at my CD collection and smiled. I had all of Of Mice And Men’s albums, and they were all fucking amazing. I was currently listening to “Bones Exposed,” which was my favorite track on their newest album.
I looked at my schedule. In two hours, I had a Bryanstars interview. Otherwise, I had the rest of the day off since the signing finished an hour ago. Jack was out, perhaps with a friend that lived nearby. I was going to look for Austin Carlile.
I wheeled around the festival on my skateboard, which was black with purple wheels. I went over to the Of Mice signing, where I assumed Austin would be. I sighed. The line stretched to the Chickie’s & Pete’s booth. I bought some crab fries and ate them as I got closer.
When I finally got up to Austin, he beamed. “I never thought I’d get to meet you. So… who are you, exactly?”
I explained that I was a YouTuber, and that I made vlogs on anything and everything. He whispered in my ear, “I would ask you out, but I have a date tomorrow night.” OH SHIT.
“I… umm… have… a… a boyfriend…” I trailed off. Then I remembered that there was a brain inside my head. “Can we meet by your bus tonight? Is 6:30 good?” I asked. He nodded and signed the vinyl that I’d brought but forgotten about. I waited until I got back on the bus to read it.
I went to my bunk so I could lie down. As I set it down, I heard distinct moaning. I ran to the back of the bus, and there it was. Jack had a girl riding him as she moaned. Her hair covered her face, so she could not see me as she moaned. Since Jack was acing away from me, he also couldn’t see me. I cleared my throat. Nobody could hear me over her moaning. I assumed she was at her peak. He flipped her over and finished.
When they started making out, I cleared my throat, trying to remain calm even though I wanted to fucking hit him with a baseball bat. Shame I didn’t have one. He looked at me and put on a fake apologetic face. “Babe, it isn’t what it looks like, I swear she made me do it…” I slapped him as hard as I could.
The slut he was hooking up with looked at me and said through clenched teeth, “Wait a second… you have a girlfriend? A fucking GIRLFRIEND? You told me you were SINGLE, YOU FUCKING ASSHAT!!!” She slapped him harder than I did, making the red mark on his face begin to turn purple. Then she looked at me as she got dressed and said, “Look, I’m really sorry about that bullshit, he said he was your tour manager and that he was single, I had no clue, and this has been going on for a while, just in case you were wondering. Like I thought I was his girlfriend and I’m really sorry and…”
I cut her off there. “Look, it’s fine. He’s a total asshole anyways, I was going to break up with him. It’s okay, just his fault. Not ours, got it?” I held her shoulders. She had shoulder length, black hair with a purple streak running through it. She ran away from my bus to god-knows-where. Okay, apparently she wasn’t a slut. She just didn’t know.
Jack got up. I hadn’t noticed he was unconscious. He looked at me with those fake puppy eyes. “Babe, we can make this all right again…” he pressed himself against me as he started to remove my My Chemical Romance tee. I’d never had sex with him, and I definitely didn’t want to now. I slapped my hands against his ears at the same time, causing his eardrums to break. He yelled as I kicked him in the balls.
Out of nowhere, Austin ran up to him and pinned him against the wall. “What did you fucking do to her?!” he growled at Jack.
I looked at Austin and let it all spill. How he was abusive and controlling, and how he cheated on me. Austin threw him to the ground and made him pack his things whilst muttering something under his breath.
After Jack was dressed and packed, Austin threw the suitcase out the door of the bus, and then Jack. He landed on his suitcase. “YOU FUCKING BITCH!!!!” he yelled. I hugged Austin and cried, he hugged me back.

SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A WHILE. ALSO SORRY THERE WASN'T A LOT OF AUSTIN. MORE PEOPLE TO COME IN THE NEXT CHAPTER THOUGH. I TRIED TO MAKE UP FOR AL OF THIS BULLSHIT WITH A LONGER CHAPTER.
