She was perfectly fine. Until he came along with his messy hair and revolution running through his veins, the epidemic, bringing out her bad side. He injected these idea's into her, and they banged around the neat fold of her mind. He got right into her bloodstream that February night, the words rolled of his tongue in sideways arcs and for the first time, she fell for every single one. She turned him into metaphors about stars and galaxies and the sun. She loved him, more than anything she'd ever loved before. Her whole body felt like pins and needles when he walked away. She painted the most vivid pictures of thunderstorms and addictions and dead end roads with her words that night. He killed a small part of her, but he created a poet.
