it seems like forever since I tore myself apart

He took my hand and pulled me along the room and down the hall. But not the way we came in.
"I want to show you one more thing." He insisted and I smiled. Our hands never left each other and now, my hand is kinda sweaty.

Ew.

He tried to open the door, but it was jammed causing him to use two hands. thank god.
i wipe my hand on my leg, and rake it through my hair, pulling it up. It was hot in here.
Finally the door opened with a thud and I can't believe my eyes.

The wall was totally blown out and you could see and hear the ocean. It was amazing. The blue sky matched the water perfectly and I don't think I have seen something ever so beautiful.
"one time we were drunk and lit off fireworks outside. Our stand fell over and hit this wall. A marter it was." He said smiling at the memory.
"So we decided to make it our scenery room. This place has been abandoned since the early ages. A factory, but they demolished it in a fire. God, best thing in San Deigo." He sighed and I wlaked over to the wall, standing beside it and looking down.

I I saw the boardwalk And the skate park. And I heard the ocean over the roar of the people and oh my god was it amazing.

"Alright, let's go to the boardwalk? Maybe get something decent to eat." He laughed and started walking away with me on his tail.

Mainly did I notice that the floorboards were popped up, shifted out of place. And the walls has fire residue, blackend by the flames.
While I was in Lala land I stumbled upon a lose floorboard and stumbled into Ahren, who was about to go down the stairs.
this could not end well.
Grabbing onto whatever I could, I felt a pair of hands hold my hips steady. And I looked at Ahren.

My heart pumping With the recent incident, and my breathing hitching. He slowly leaned in and I bit my lip. My heart was still going the same pace and only now did I feel it through out my whole body.

"AHREN!" Someone yelled, causing me to jump forty thousand feet in the air, and falling flat on my tail bone.
"Joel Mate what are you'd ping here alone?" Ahren replied and helped me to my feet, then stumbling down the stairs.

I I followed in pursuit, wanting to meet the famous Joel. But when I looked at him, he wasnt very happy.
Hands in his pockets and glasses on his nose, he looked very mad.

"Why did you take her here? This is our place!" He yelled and I backed up, not wanting to hear an argument.
"Joel, look at me. I ju-" Ahren started but he cut him off.
"No one is allowed here! It's for us only!" He said and I swear I heard my mother yelling at my father.

"I-i have to go." I said and I ran out, not without tripping over one more floorboard.
"Nydia wait!" Ahren said and I ignored him, feeling tears in my eyes.
As soon as I stepped foot outside, I put my hands over my head and leaned back, taking a deep breath.
I started humming A song, that I learned a while ago, to calm me down.
Well, not learned but wrote. It was my go to. it had no lyrics yet, but the melody was all I needed.
I put my hands on my knees and pulled my shirt up to wipe away stray tears.

Someone me put their hand on my shoulder and again, I fell. Flat

"woah there darling, you okay?" I heard and I looked up and saw Mike standing there with a board in hands and three other people behind him.
"What?" I ask and Tony reaches around Mike, bending down.
"Are you okay?" His shy voice asks and I nod, getting up.

"Ugh yeah just tripped haha." I said and shake my hair, my bun bouncing.
"Nydia!" Ahren yells and has Joel following in pursuit. "Damn it." Mike whispers to himself, causing Vic to punch him.

"I'm so sorry." He said and I smile. "No it's okay, things happen mate." I said and shrug. "Well we are going to a party." Jaime brought up, or I think that's his name.
"And would you guys like to join?" Vic asks and I look at Ahren.
"I have to take him home, but you should go. And call me okay?" He asks and I nod and lean over and kiss his cheek.
"Bye Ahren." I said and they walked off.

"Finally trout mouth is gone." Mike said and I punched him in the shoulder.
"Shut up, you should know people before you call them names. It's not cool or impressive. It's the opposite." I said and Vic smiles.
"Alright, shall we get going? It's going to start soon!" Jaime says and Mike slings a sweaty arm around my shoulder.

"Let's go!!" Vic charges and Tony is left alone by me. So I grab his shoulder and pull him closer, clinging my arm with his.
"Hey, I'm your friend. You shouldn't be so shy anymore." I soothe and he smiles.

"so Mike?" I ask curious. "What baby." He winks and I roll my eyes. "Got a light smoke and light?" I question and he drops his board down, stepping on it.
"Or course." He smoothly says and digs through his pocket and pulls out a pack.
I look up and see Vic and Jaime skating through the crowd of people loudly yelling and singing. Laughing, I take one and light it.

Sucking in, I feel relieved already. But I also feel a vibrate in my back pocket.
its my dad calling.

"Hey daughter." He said and I laughed. "Father, what's up?" I say and he sighs.
"You got a case didn't you." I say and i stop walking, sucking in again.
"Yeah, but this is going to take longer baby girl. Maybe 2-3 months." He said and I shut my eyes.
"I leave in 4 hours." He added.
"Okay well I'm not going to be home. Bye." I said and hung up, feeling worthless.

"You okay?"tony asks and I nod. "Can I just get drunk?" I question and they laugh.
