it seems like forever since I tore myself apart

As we ride the taxi to the airport Car rentals, me and my dad gaze at the new life here. It's barren, hot dry, but I love it.
My dad still seems.... Skeptical, but none the less, liking it.
"Alright here ya guys go. It will be 15.78." He said and I reached into my bag, pulling out a twenty. "Keep the change." I said and I took off, pulling around the back to open the trunk for our luggage. "Come on, I could have paid." He spoke and I reach for the handle and pull both of our luggages out.
"It's fine. Come on, let's get a nice car." I said and I put a finger up to my forehead and kind of saluted to the driver.

dont judge me, I'm weird.

We walk towards the door and once we are in, there's a little petite blonde girl already drooling over my dad.
"great." I said. "Hi, how may I help you?" She asked and her voice was loud and annoying. "Hi yes we are here to get a car." I said and she whisks her eyes over to me.
"What kind of car are you looking for? A truck, Subaru." She said and I laughed. "Black mustang please. Oldest you have." I said and she looked at me.
"What makes you think you can afford that?" She questioned and I laugh. "I don't know, the money in my bank account you wish you could have." I snapped and slammed my hand on the table.

"Now get me the car or your manager.'' I smiled and she typed away for about five minutes. "okay card please." She said and I was about to pull out my wallet again, but my dad beat me too it.

"Gonna have your boyfriend do everything?" She smeared quietly to yourself.


"Funny, that's what yours told me last night. now, give me the keys." I snapped, I wasn't normally like this, I was shy and took peoples shit.

But something about her just ticked me off.

She gave me the keys and the card and we are off. "Really?" He asked not amused. I just looked at him while I pursed my lips.
"Don't do it." He said and I shook my head. "I wasn't going to." I lied, but kept my cool.


Okay, I may have some anger managing problems, but nothing I can't deal with.

"Alrighty, look at her." I said smiling once I saw the black beauty. "Woah, could choice." He smiled and we put our luggage in the trunk and open the car.

"Let's go to In N out?" I question and he nods. "Wanna look it up?" He replied back and I pull out my phone and do just that.

"take a left and it's on the right." I said and once we get there, I just sit. "I'm going to change, I'll meet you inside." I said and he nodded, getting out.

I pop the trunk, and my luggage is on the top, so I just open it and grab what's on top. Is it weird that I separate or pack by outfits?

I hope not.

i pick out the Outfit of witch is labeled in the plastic pack bag summer. It wasn't really summer but it was hot.

i quickly change in the back of the car and quickly climb back out. I felt the anxiety rush through me, and I check my watch, noticing it's been twelve hours since I've had a cigarette.

I pull out my backpack and my smokes. My lighter already handy.

I hold it up in the window sill to show my dad and he nods.

I pull out a stick and shove it into my mouth, lighting it and in haling. I already feel better.


Fucking hilarious how show something that could kill you make you feel so much better.



"mind if I can bum one from you?" A deep voice asks nicely.

"yeah sure." I said and hold out my pack to him, and also a lighter because he obviously doesn't have one.
"Thanks, I'm mike by the way." He said and smiled. He was smug. I'll give him that.

"I'm Nydia." I said and walked away.
