One Shots

"No Jaime! Not again!" I screamed. I wouldn't let him play it off as a 'drunken mistake'.
"I was drunk. It was an accident." He said pleading to me with his big brown orbs. There it was. He was once again giving me the look.
"No. You did it. Drunk or not I don't care. You've done this too many times." I finished off my suitcase and grabbing my jacket. I watched him fade away as I drove off. I shook off the tears in my eyes, not ready for them to leave. I drove to my one safe place. I made my way through all the trees. I let the air fill my lungs as I tried to clear away my thoughts. I found myself instinctively leading my legs to the clearing over a cliff. I sat down under the one big tree in the center. I grabbed the items I hid in the small hollow. I pulled out a note book, a bear, a blanket, and a locket. There was also a little friend in there that I hadn't used in years, yet they are every where. I pulled out the pencil and started drawing lines on my arms. They alway faded but it did about the same as cutting, I guess. I smiled as the familiar sensation spred throughout my arm. I opened up the note book to a page I had been doodling on. To explain my clearing it was like Hogwarts to Potterheads, or a sky under the sea as my friend would put it. To me it was an escape from reality.

**a few days later**

I had been hiding in my room watching romance movies and eating ice cream but mostly, I slept. The best way to cure sadness. But without a doubt it was the dreaded day: grocery day. I cleaned up and headed out. Basically when I got to the store I just put anything in the basket.
"Cay?" Asked THAT voice.
"What?" I asked irritably.
"N-never mind." He wavered then left. By now that bridge is looking really inviting. I sighed and payed for my things. I was gonna go home but, I promised I would check out the record store for my shipment. As I stepped out of my car for what felt like the billionth time today, I walked down the block to the record store. I got that uneasy feeling in my stomach like, like, I can't explain it but it's that feel. I was disoriented as darkness surrounded me. I was pushed into an alleyway. I looked into the silver/blue eyes of my attacker. I used the selfdefence steps I had learned from my friend. SING. S- solerplexus, I- instep, N-nose, G- groin. I got half way through before he managed to flip me. I was on the ground lying on my back. He got down on top of me. I used more Self Defence skills and flipped him over and busting his nose at the same time. As anyone would do, I got up and ran. I ran right into the arms of the last man I wanted to see but right now i didn't care. He took me to his home as he was trying to calm me down, my anxiety was flaring. We sat on the couch drinking hot chocolate as I told him what happened. Without warning he pulled me to him in a rather bone crushing hug.
"I'm sorry, Jaime." I whispered.
"I am sorry and I'm never letting you go again." He said back and kissed me on the nose.
"Not ever."
"Not ever."
We cuddled on the couch watching Advengers. Every couple of minutes he would pull me closer as if to see that I was still here and all this was real. The chocolate in my system warming me up I slowly drifted off in his arms. His scent filling my lungs.
