The First Punch

As the band and I stood by the main stage they got warmed up and the techs were on the stage testing all of the equipment. Mike was sitting on the stairs drumming on his lap, while Vic was pacing doing vocal warm-ups. Jaime, Tony and I were all standing on the side of the stage talking about what the plan was for the rest of the day while they warmed up their fingers. I kept peering out to look at the crowd which kept growing and growing.
“So we have a signing at 2:30, so we will probably either like watch other bands sets or just chill back at the bus.” Jaime explained.
“Guys I have to go to the merch tent and meet with Ray” I looked at Tony
“Can you swing by once your set is over?”
“Sure thing Axl.” He responded with a smile and pulled me close to him.
When he did this I stiffened as Jaime watches us. Tony then let go of me when he noticed my body language.
“See you later” I waved and left quickly.
As I was making my way back to the tent I heard screaming coming from the main stage. They must be starting the set. I heard Vic scream “Are you ready?!” and the crowd went crazy. Then the intro to Besitos started to play.
When I got to the merch tent I saw Ray just sitting at the table watching the people walk by.
“Ray!!” I screamed running to her.
“Oh my God look who finally decided to show up! Crazy night?” She asked pulling me into a hug.
“Ray, Lian and I missed you so much! It’s been so long!”
“I know… How’s it going with Mike? Still fighting a lot?”
I awkwardly sat down next to her and sighed
“Did something happen? Oh Alex I’m sorry!”
“No, it’s fine. Mike and I got into this huge argument the night before we left for tour, and he was drunk and he hit me. Then when we got onto the bus he wanted to talk, then Tony brought in his phone. It was this groupie that he was cheating on me with. Then I broke up with him. But I had told Vic and Tony about him hitting me so they were already pissed at me. And I figured I wouldn’t tell Jaime so the whole band wasn’t turned against him, but I think Lian told him.” I explained huffing at the end and rolling my eyes.
Her eyes opened wide, “I’m so so sorry Alex, I had no clue. So how has the tour been.. with him and all?”
“Well last night everyone was drinking and smoking and we got into this little fight and he told me that the groupie was better than me at everything.. Then I was going to hit him but Tony pulled me away… And well Tony and I…”
She leaned closer to me and whispered, “Tony and you.. did what?”
“Well.. we went to the back lounge and… we uh… you know…” I started to blush
“You and Tony?! Awe that’s so adorable you two have always been meant for each other but I never said anything because you were with Mike.. But oh my God… Are you two a thing?” She said winking at me
“Uhm… We are going to keep it quiet because I like just broke up with Mike a day or so ago and I don’t need shit from the fans. Ya know?”
“Yeah I get it… agh but you two are so adorable! Are you happy with him?” She asked
“Yeah, he makes me so happy. But when I originally told Vic about Mike hitting me he said that he has always cared about me… Do you think Vic has feelings for me?”
“Oh my God, did he really say that?” I nodded
“By the way I’m sorry I’m saying 'oh my god’ so much but… OH MY GOD!”
I laughed and she asked what I was going to do… To be honest I really have no clue.
As we at there for the next 45 minutes we just talked about our lives and whats been going on.
We had gotten like one customer in those 45 minutes but then a huge rush of customers came. We had such a long line, full of PTV fans waiting to get their merch from our tent, holding their money patiently.
Both Ray and I were going as fast as we could to put the money in the bin and get the merch. After about 15 minutes we got through everyone, and now we were just getting random people coming and buying merch.
As we sat down I noticed a group of girls run by our tent and scream ‘Oh my God it’s Tony Perry!’. I laughed as they made their way to him and he went to our tent.
“Hey Axl!” He smiled looking at me, totally ignoring all of the girls.
“Hi” I smiled and bit my lip.
“TONY!” Ray jumped up and hugged him.
“Hi Ray. How’re you? Its been forever!” He smiled and hugged her back.
“It’s good, so hows life with you? You dating anyone yet Mr?” She winked and he looked at me quick. You could see his cheeks getting red and he looked at the ground to hide his smile from us.
“So I’m guessing you know?” Ray nodded. He laughed while looking at me and giving me a wink.
The girls started to scream Tony’s name again and he proceeded to pull out a sharpie and sign everything the girls would hand to him. After a few minutes of picture taking and signing the crowd cleared out.
“So our signings at 2:30, I might just stay here at the tent with you guys and wait for the signing… but that’s in like two and a half hours... I don't really know what to do." Tony explained.
"I think Bring Me's set is at 12:30 at the main stage. You could go to that?" I suggested.
He frowned, “I wish you could go..”
“I wish I could go too, but I can’t leave Ray alone at the merch table. Where are the others anyways?”
“They all went to the bus, they said it was too hot.. But I just wanted to see you.” He smiled putting his finger under my chin and giving me a kiss. I kissed him back and as we pulled away I heard a scream.. Oh shit.
