The First Punch

As I laid there in my bunk I realized, this warped tour might be the first one I won’t enjoy. Just for the pure fact the Mike is going to be with me 24/7. This kinda bothers me. But I would love to spend more time with Vic. I think I would really enjoy getting to know him. Am I falling for Vic?.. Fuck. Then as I lay there listening to the introduction to 'Besitos,' Tony the Turtle opens the curtain to my bunk. He was staring at me. I pulled out a headphone and looked at him.
“You okay? I’m here for you if you need me. I really care about you and I need you to know that.” He smiled at me which made me smile
His smile is so handsome. And his eyes, oh his eyes are beautifully brown… Fuck, am I falling for the man who has always been here for me?
As I was telling myself to snap out of the thoughts he leaned in and put our lips together.
This felt so right, yet it felt like it was too soon. I pulled away and looked into his eyes again.
“Tony.. I’m sorry.. It’s just too soon.” I looked away back to my phone which had a message from Lian.
“No, I’m sorry it was my fault.” Tony looked at me, he could tell I wanted him but It wasn’t fair to Mike. But when has Mike ever cared. That inconsiderate bastard hit me, and that wasn't the first time.. Even though he knows everything I’ve been through. Tony walked to the front lounge, away from me. Great, this whole tour will be awkward!
I check my phone for the message from Lian.
Lian: Hey I heard you and Mike are over :( what happened?
Alex: Hey! He's an asshole who slapped me and has a drinking problem. He fucking cheated on me with a groupie while he was drunk and she called him earlier! This tour is going great!
Lian: Oh shit. I'm so sorry Alex! Is their anything I can do! I wish I was on the bus to help you! Has he ever hit you before, like do you guys have a past with it?
Alex: Yes.. He has.. a lot.. but I'll be fine. Uhm just a side note tho.. Tony and I kissed... Like an hour after I broke up with Mike...
Lian: Alex, do you feel anything for Tony?
Alex: I don't know Lian... I think I might... But Vic said he has always cared about me... Shit what can I do? I though Vic was just a one time thing!
Lian: Pick the one that makes you feel happiest when you're down. The one who can brighten your day with just a look. The one who has always been there for you.
Alex: I think I know which one to choose... Thanks Lian, I love you.
Lian: Love you too. <3
I looked up from my phone and came to my senses… I knew who I wanted… He has always been here for me. And I loved him for that.
