Daddy's Runaway Baby is All Grown Up

Alan's POV


I feel as though my life is moving in slow motion. It's been like this for the last 4 years, 3 months and 11 days. That's how long I've been without her. That's how long I've been praying for the end. She was my everything. She was my reason for existing. Now she's gone. Gone with my children.

I looked up up and saw that Austin was smothering some girl in a hug. He was never like this with fans anymore. Not since Dani disappeared. He pulled away and I saw his face twist into something that I haven't seen on his face in years. Relief. I got up from my seat to get a closer look.

The girl was short. Probably around 5'2. But that wasn't what caught my eye. It was her hair. It was beautiful. I'd only seen one girl with hair that dirty blonde color ever in my life.

I pushed through the crowd of people and saw something that shocked me. Dani. She was alive. I looked between her and Austin. I haven't seen him this happy in what feels like forever.

"Hi Alan" she smiled at me. God how I missed that smile. That voice. That everything.

"Dani" my voice cracked. She laughed and hugged me.

"We need to talk Alan" she whispered in my ear. I nodded and smiled. It was good to see her smiling and happy. She turned to Austin and said something that I couldn't hear and handed him a skip of paper and hugged him before turning to leave the venue.

I looked at Austin in confusion and he handed me the piece of paper.

My left leg shook as the cab pulled up to the address Dani had given us. PTV, MIW, and ATL had no idea what we were doing here, but they were about to find out.

We we climbed the stairs and Austin eagerly knocked on the door to Dani's apartment. The door opened and I saw a tired looking Dani standing in a tank top and shorts.

"DANI!!!!" The other bands screamed. They quickly tackled her into her living room and hugged the life out of the poor girl.

"What the fuck is going on?" Some guy yelled in a British accent as he emerged from a room next to the kitchen.

"Sorry Oli, we have a little company over" Dani laughed as she struggled to free herself from Alex's embrace.

"Who are you?" I asked, clearly taken back by a man living in Dani's apartment.

"Oli sykes, nice to meet you" he shook my open hand.

"Olis my flatmate, nothing else so everyone can calm down" Dani giggled looking at a stern looking Austin.

"MOMMY!" Everyone in the room seemed to freeze at that word. We all looked down to see a little girl clinging to Dani's leg.

"Gray, these are my friends. Can you say hi?" The little girl looked at us, clearly afraid and hid her head in her mothers neck.

"Mommy?" Another voice called. A little boy about the same size as Gray wondered into the living room, staring at us with interest and wonder rather than fear.

"Mike?" Vic whispered tears in his eyes. Why wasn't I crying? These were my kids!

Dani knelt down and placed Gray next to her brother and looked at the rest of us. Then at me specifically.

"Mikey, Gray, I want you to meet someone." She led the two over to where I was standing and my breath caught in my throat.

"This is your daddy, Alan. Can you say hi to him?" Gray and Mikey stared at me for a moment before They both walked over to where I was knelt down and hugged my neck and torso. From that moment on I vowed to myself that I was going to get my kids back, than I was going to marry the most beautiful girl on the planet. Their mother.
