Leaving the cave, going into the unknown

“Guys don’t do anything stupid okay? We’re fine let’s just ignore this and move on.” It was really hard for me to say that. I didn’t want to move on, I wanted to go find Greg and demand that he erase any naked or provocative photos of me. But I didn’t want to start something, I had just gotten Alan back and being as he wasn’t in the best shape I didn’t want to risk him getting more hurt.

“Alex this guy has naked photos of you and he tried to break you guys up, I’m not saying were going to beat him up but we at least need to confront him.” Austin said about as calm as he could, trying to hid the rage but I could see it. If there was one thing he was terrible at it was hiding his emotions. I considered it for a moment and looked over at Alan, he was giving me a begging look.

“Okay but you’re not going by yourself and you’re not bringing any weapons or sharp objects. Call your Mom and ask her to watch Melody because I’m going with you.” I went upstairs before anyone could protest and started to get ready. After I was done I went into Dee’s room and just stood over her crib watching her sleep. One thing I was thankful she got from me was her love of sleep, and she was so cute while doing it. Before I had her all I kept thinking about was bringing something so innocent into a world full of people like Greg. But it was now that I realized as long as you keep good people in your life there should be no problems. I just wish someone had told me that sooner or the list of guys who have fucked me over would be much shorter. What would happen if she saw one of the photos of me when she grew up? Would she think lower of me because of my past mistakes or would she use them to grow as a person and not repeat them? Too much crap has happened and she was only a month and a half old, what else could happen to us?

I heard a knock at the door knowing it was Alan’s mom; I kissed Melody on the head and headed downstairs.

“Thanks so much for watching her, we won’t be gone long.” I heard Alan say while I put my shoes on.

“It’s no problem you kids go out have a good time and come home when you want.” She said while hugging her son, if only she knew where we were really going.

We exited the house and got into Austin’s car, Alan walking slower then usual due to his injuries. He really should be in bed but I knew better then to argue with him about it right now, he was a man on a mission that couldn’t be stopped.

“Do you remember where he lives?” Austin asked, I just nodded and let him drive while I gave directions. We drove down the familiar roads that I used to drive which brought back memories of pain. Every time I would drive to his house I would think of what would become of my visit that day. Would I be called worthless or an ungrateful slut? Would we have sex or would he get drunk and pass out before anything could happen only for me to sneak out the back door to go home? To be here with Alan was even stranger, it was hard to believe that my past with Greg was only a year or so ago. Everything before Alan feels like life times away, I guess falling in love and having a kid will do that to you.

We pulled up outside the house and sat in silence for a bit before Alan spoke up.

“Alex, we’ll let you talk. Think of us as your body guards and if you need our help just squeeze my hand okay?” I nodded as I got out of the car followed by the boys. I knocked on the door and when it finally opened there stood in front of me was Greg. He looked somewhat the same but the alcohol he abused was starting to wear on him. When he saw me his mouth went from a straight line to a scary smirk, he knew we would come eventually.

“Well if it isn’t my favorite girl, did you enjoy the picture? I’ve got more if you want to see, I also got a nice little video.” The words rolled off his tongue like he had been practicing for years to get back at me.

“You need to give me those photos and that video, I thought I knew what you were but I never thought you would do something like this.” I tried to speak as strongly as I could but the words were starting to choke up in the back of my throat.

“Aww, how cute you trying to stand up for yourself while your bodyguards stand behind you. You want the photos and the video do you? Well I rather hang on to them, I love to watch them and remember all the fun times we had together. I heard you had a daughter, hopefully she doesn’t turn out to be a little slut like you.” That did it for Alan, he was trying to stand strong and not be affected by Greg but the second he brought Dee into the equation he lost it. He stormed through the door and grabbed Greg by the collar of his shirt slamming him against the nearest wall.

“You listen here you fucking pierce of shit, I’m trying to be calm despite what you have already done but I draw the line at you talking about my daughter. Knowing what you’ve done to Alex is enough to make me want to kill you, now tell us where the photos are and we can both be out of each others lives.” Alan spat out at Greg. Austin was currently holding me back while we waited for Greg to answer, but instead of words he just started to laugh.

“Oh Alex, quite the little protector you’ve got here standing up for you. You really want the photos fine you can have them.” He stopped looking at me and looked right into Alan’s eyes “But never forget what’s going on in those photos and what happened in that video. She was mine first and I had her in any way possible.” He smiled and Alan reciprocated by punching him square in the face. Greg fell to the floor still laughing before getting up and handing over the photos along with a DVD. I walked out the door not saying another word; I wasn’t going to waste my breath on someone so pathetic. I got in the car just before the boys and we headed home Alan’s hand now bleeding from he punch he threw. I never thought I would open so many old wounds in one day.

Hey everyone this has been a crazy couple of days for me and that's why i haven't updated. I went to an award show put on by a local radio station and got barricade it was amazing and Billy Talent showed up out of no where and i got to be front row for it! Made my life! Also today on the bus home this woman called me a demon and insisted that i was following her and kept talking to me, i ran home after and freaked out, it was extremely scary.
But other than that i hope everyone is liking this story! It's at 42 subscribers, over 23,000 view and is constantly on the popular page and i can't thank everyone enough for reading it. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
