Celebrate The Way That Night Hides Scars

*Ben's P.O.V*
I walked through my house and greeted everyone, well everyone but Tay and Andy. Uncle Ben and Danny disappeared once we got here, I looked over to see my dad, Tay and Andy. It looked as if my dad and Tay were arguing, that's different. I quietly sighed and went to the backyard and layed in the grass thinking. "What are you doing out here?" I recognized the questioning voice as uncle Danny.
"Benjy, you could get sick." Benjy was the nickname gave me, both Ben and Danny sat on either side of me looking concerned. "Why aren't you inside with family?" Ben asked causing me to sigh.
"Tay and Andy are avoiding me and I think my dad is too." I admitted, I felt defeated voicing that aloud.
"I'm not avoiding you bud." Of course my dad walked up when I admitted that. "I was just gathering a few people, well three that you need to meet."
"Who haven't I met dad?" I asked not knowing why I was already slightly annoyed, I met so many people today I have no clue how they know me. I turned and saw my dad with uncles Vic, Jaime and Mike. "I know them!"
"Are you sure you know everyone in this whole group?" My dad asked, what fucking game was he trying to play?
"Duh!" Did he think I was stupid?
"So you know your cousin's Ashley," He paused and a girl stepped out from behind Mike and stood in front of Mike. "Cameron," My dad continued and a guy stepped out from behind Jaime, this kid looked so much like Jaime except he had fluffier hair. "And Sally?" My dad finished and a girl stepped out from behind Vic and damn was she beautiful. I could feel a goofy grin find it's way to my lips as I looked at this Sally girl in front of Vic.
"I didn't know they were hidden." I said quietly.
"Well, they are your cousins and each standing in front of their father." My dad said, I couldn't take me eyes off Sally. She noticed this and slightly blushed.
"Hi." She said softly, even her voice was beautiful. What the hell was going on with me?
"Hi," I said not feeling like I had actually said it.
*Tay's P.O.V*
Andy and I stuck together saying hi to others but mainly trying to stay away Ben, at one point Ben and I made eye contact through the crowd. I wasn't looking into his loving brown eyes, I was looking into black menacing eyes that wished for blood to be spilled. I shivered at the sight of those eyes, Andy noticed this and protectively put his arm around me. I about freaked out feeling a new hand on my shoulder, but calmed down realizing it was just my dad. "Why don't you say hi to your brother or meet your cousins?" He asked us, Andy was clearly not going to answer so I had to.
"We aren't going near Ben." I said looking in my dad's eyes.
"He's your brother, I thought you loved him." My dad said, he sounded kind of annoyed.
"I love Ben, but I don't love... 'him'." I said 'him' snidely.
"What the hell are you talking about Tay?" He asked sounding more annoyed than before.
"You wouldn't understand!" I raised my voice at him causing some people to watch us like we were a horror movie.
"I'm your father, why wouldn't I understand?! And you, what the hell has been wrong with you lately?! You're avoiding me and don't talk to anyone anymore!" Dad yelled at me and Andy.
"Don't talk to him like that! Also he does talk to someone, me! I'm the only person still listening and trying!" I yelled at my dad, before I knew it Andy rand away without a word.
*Andy's P.O.V*
"Don't talk to him like that!" I heard Tay say defending me, I ran away down to the basement and sat in a corner.
"He hates me..." I whispered to myself, I felt like I couldn't breathe but made sure I took deep breaths and tried to stay calm. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and hoped it was Tay.
"Why are you avoiding me?" I should've known it'd be my dad, I stayed quiet knowing he just wanted me to talk. "So you're just not gonna talk to me at all? Whats going on? You can talk to me. I know we don't have the best relationship, but I can't stay mad at you or your siblings. I couldn't even stay mad at your mom" he slightly smiled at the thought of my mom. She'd piss me off to my breaking point then looked at me with her sincere apology showing in her eyes, in Tay's eyes......in your eyes." I was now on the verge of tears but wouldn't let him know he could do that to me. "Why won't you talk to me bud?" He asked one last question, his voice now almost a whisper.
"You. Hate. Me." I said defiantly trying my best to glare at him.
"Wait a minute, 'I hate you'? Where's this coming from?"
"I heard you the first night Ben was in the hospital, just admit it! You hate me! You wish I hadn't been born and look at you with mom's eyes!"
"You heard me wrong! I don't hate you!" We were full on yelling at each other now.
"I fucking heard you, Tony! Don't bullshit me because I'm not a fucking dumbass, like you must think I am!"
"What the fuck is wrong with you?! First you're acting up, then you drug your brother and now this?! Get your fucking act together and be thankful you live in a house with family who loves you!"
"Then I'll fucking leave since you clearly don't want me here!" I yelled then pushed passed him, but he had a different plan. He grabbed me by the shirt and made me face him.
"Get your fucking act together, punk!" Without thinking first my dad pulled his fist back then forward quickly punching me in the face, he let go of my shirt realizing his actions as blood started to flow out of my nose. "Andy, I'm so so-" I didn't listen to the rest and quickly ran up to the top floor bathroom.
I looked in the mirror and saw all the blood coming out of my nose, I grabbed a lot of toilet paper and tried to stop the blood. That's when I noticed some sleeping pills and decided to take a few, I need sleep and they're there. After swallowing a few I layed in the bath tub as they started to take affect and I drifted off into the best sleep I've had in days.

I'm excited about this story and the fact that my band and I are gonna start doing music soon so I might be a little distracted by that but I promise this story will be one of my top priorities to work on as well.
