Celebrate The Way That Night Hides Scars

*Taylor's P.O.V*
It was nearing Christmas and I was visiting my mom's grave with my brothers, Andy and Ben. Our dad was on tour, he would never let us go on tour with him due to the crash that took our biological mom away. "Why did you have to leave.....I need you." Andy cried, I saw a mist forming beside the gravestone and looked up to see our mom. I had no memories of her, but I've seen pictures and know what she looks like. I smiled at her and slightly waved, nobody knew this but I can see and talk to the anything in the afterlife.

"Why are you smiling and waving? No one's there." Andy said snidely, sometimes the loss of our mom aggravates him. Nobody has told me what happened the day of the crash, but they make it seem like it was bad. So bad that my dad hated Uncle Mike for 10 years after the crash, that was until mom put forgiving thoughts in his mind to help the situation and making sure the band didn't fall apart like it was at the time.

"Mommy's here." I said innocently, I knew they wouldn't believe me saying that no one ever does.

"Tay, that's impossible. Mom's dead, she's been in heaven the past 12 years. She's been watching over us" Ben said softly, he sighed then continued. "We're gonna start our walk home so catch up when you're ready." He and Andy then walked away in the direction of our house.

"She's closer than you think." I mumbled after them. "Mom, why don't they believe me?" I asked her, looking up at her I realized that I really looked so much like her.

"Tay baby, not everyone believes in a life after death. Many also are skeptics about the paranormal, you're also very right my dear. You are so much like me, yet so much like your father. Use it to your advantage." She said then standing near a tree in a distance, stood a really tall black form that had only just appeared and made me gasp.

"Mom?"

"He can't hurt you so don't worry about it, he's a demon who tormented me for years. He won't get to you or anyone I loved while alive."

"Tay, come on!" I heard Andy and Ben call for me, I tore my eyes from the demon to my brothers waiting by a tree.

"Go, Erin is starting to worry." Mom said, I nodded and ran to my brothers.

"God what took you so long?" Andy asked snidely.

*Third Person P.O.V*
Rose watched as her three children walk away towards their house, Rose knew Tony was still grieving. He'd sometimes imagine Erin as Rose to be capable of showing some happiness, Rose knew her death severely upset her sons and she's had to step in to stop fights and rebellion with the boys. "Tris, Cara, Marlie. We have company." Rose said quietly and within a blink, her friends were beside her. She explained what happened and the group slowly approached the demon, he seemed unfazed.

"You all have such lovely children, it'd be a shame if something got to them." He said, evily laughing.

"If you want to get to our kids, you have to go through us." Rose said threateningly, the demon just continued to laugh.

"I killed you once, don't make me do it again. A demon as powerful as I could kill you and you'll never see your precious loved ones again, the choice is yours." He said, serious but his power seeping through his words.

"Again? If I remember right I killed you and different things lead to our death." Rose retorted making the demon smirk at them.

"Almost nothing can stop me from killing, not even your almighty God could stop me from killing the four of you." He said, his evil soaking his words.

"What?!" The four girls asked, generally confused.

"None of you were supposed to die, I killed you! I put the cancer in Cara and the thoughts to not do anything about it, I made sure Marlie didn't live after her birth and I caused that crash and made sure to break the correct bones in your body for you and Tris to die. Now, if you think you'll keep your precious kids safe then you're more stupid than I thought!" He said then turned to Rose and smirked again. "I know your little girl saw me and now I'm one step closer to ruining their lives like I ruined yours. Maybe I'll take their father away or even just kill her and the dad, then that's when we'll see what happens with the boys." With that the demon disappeared.

*Andy's P.O.V*
I couldn't stop thinking about what Tay said earlier, I mean could it really be possible she mom? "Um, Tay?" I asked and she glanced in my direction as we walked, we were almost home.

"Yeah Andy?"

"What did you mean you saw mom?" This perked Ben's interest, he looked at Tay waiting her answer. We were now stopped in front of our home.

"She was listening and watching us she's always watching nearby, what else could I mean?" She sounded frustrated and walked into the house followed by Ben and lastly me.

"Thank God you're safe, I was starting to worry." Erin said and sounded relieved, I scoffed at that.

"Of course we're safe, we just went to visit our real mom." I said emphasizing the world 'real'.

"I know but I'm your guardian so I can worry. Now come eat, I made dinner." She said sounding hurt at first then cheery again.

"Fuck off, I'll eat when I want to not when I'm told to." I said flipping her off.

"You can't do that, would you do that to your father?" She asked in disbelief of my actions.

"My father? He let my own mother die! He's a fucking dick! Why would I ever treat either of you with respect?" I asked in a rude manner and emphasizing the word 'ever'. "He's probably not even gonna visit for Christmas like he said."

"Andrew Matthew Perry, go to your room and stay there! I am sick and tired of your attitude!" Erin yelled at me, I knew I was pushing her buttons.

"Good!" I yelled and walked towards the stairs and up to my room, once in there I opened the window knowing what I was about to attempt. I looked at the kinda thick branch of a tree in front of me, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. I jumped to the branch and held on before quickly moving to the base of the tree and climbing up to where I wouldn't be seen.

*Ben's P.O.V*
"I'm done with your attitude!" Erin yelled at Andy, I had never heard her yell before.

"Good!" Andy yelled back and headed up to his room, I don't even know what's causing his bursts of anger these days.

"Now, who wants dinner?" Erin asked more calm now, she quickly turned and walking into the kitchen not waiting for a reply.

"Can I just eat later?" I asked quietly, I didn't want to cause her to yell again.

"Ben, just join us. If you won't do it for Erin, do it for mommy she wants you to." Tay said quietly to me.

"I don't know how you know what mom would want but, you got me." I said and we walked into the dining room as my phone started ringing, I didn't check who it was before answering. "Hello?"

"Hey bud, how's it going?" I instantly recognized the voice as my dad's, he must have either just gotten off stage or going on soon.

"I've been doing pretty good. Andy, Tay and I went and visited mom's grave today. How 'bout you?" I asked him.

"I'm about to go on stage, gotta go. See you in three days! Love you!" He said rushed and hung up.

"Well that was weird." I said putting my phone back in my pocket.

"You've upset him, be careful what you say to him." Tay said, God she thinks she knows everything!

"Ben, please take this to your brother." Erin said handing me a plate of food, I nodded and walked upstairs to his room and knocked. No answer. I opened the door to the room to find it empty with the window open. Fuck.

"He's in the tree." Tay said walking up to me.

"How the fuck do you know? And don't say mom told you, mom's dead! Mom was ripped from our lives, get that through your fucking head!" I yelled at her and she looked slightly upset and looked down.

"Why did dad hate Mike for so long?" She asked me slowly looking back up at me, her voice frail and quiet.

"Dad walked in on Mike raping mom."
