Ghost In The Mirror

I was released from the hospital yesterday and had successfully packed all my rhings that could be manually transported, rather than by truck or U-Haul. I packed the money that my parents and I saved as well.

My concussion had diminished to a dull throb, thankfully, and now I can barely feel it.

I plan on running away soon. I just recently researched bus schedules. A bus that stops two blocks away is going to stop in West Virginia will arrive in two hours. From West Virginia, Im going to Pennsylvania.

My parents had always dreamed of moving there so I plan on living there dream. Besides, I don't want to be in foster care. My parents held a special place in my heart, no one is going to try to take that from them and Im not going to give them the chance to try.

Chrystal is fast asleep in the front room, has been for about an hour or two now. Im leaving soon now, hopefully going unnoticed.

I tiptoed out the back door and booked it the whole two blocks to the bus stop with my bags on my back. I hid in the shadows every chance I got. I made sure I wouldn't be noticed.

Once I got to the bus stop, I had a few minutes to spare. I adjusted all my straps, made sure everything was in place, then finally rested my feet from that sprint that left me breathless.

The bus pulled up soon, making climb aboard. I gave the driver a half hearted smile, earning one in return, and sat near the back of the clanky rust-mobile.

A few stops later a guy who looked to be my age climbed aboard. He sat near me and gave me a small smile. I responded with the same and started looking theough my bags, hoping to fish out my IPod.

As soon as I pulled it out the boy from before says, "Im Austin Carlile."

"Im Tarra Baldwin." I reply.

"What music do you listen to?" He asks, pointed at my IPod.

"The good kind. Slipknot, GreenDay, Blink-182, Metallica, AFI, Misfits, stuff like that." I shrugged, gaining a smile from Austin.

"You had me at Slipknot." He cooes. "Do you mind if I listen with you? I got a ear bud splitter."

"Plug it up." I smile, making Austin chucke a little.

The next stop Austin moved to sit next to me. He hooked his splitter up and we listened to music in one ear and to the other person speaking through the other ear.

I had grown to like Austin. I was sad when I had to get off but that was soon replaced by a bit off happiness when I learned it was Austin's stop as well.

I learned he was going to California so this bus stop was our goodbye. We did trade cell phone numbers, promising the other that this goodbye wouldn't be forever.

I promised Austin that I would text his when I got to Pennsylvania and he promised he would texted when he got to California in a few days.

Sooner than I would like, my designated bus arrived. I gave Austin a hug and climbed on. I sat near the back again and listened to music for the short ride I had ahead.

About forty minutes into the toturous ride, a sign read 'PENNSYLVANIA WELCOMES YOU'.

Here goes nothing.

I know I told one of you yesterday that I was going to post then, and I did try, but my phone was being an asshole and wouldn't let me. I can't tell you how many times I tried to update and had it not work. It sucked.

Also, If I offended anyone with the foster home thing, im sorry. It wasn't meant to be offensive and if i hurt your feelings, just message me and Ill change it.

Im not sure when my next chapter will be up but I will update you guys with some information on my hip. The tissue that was removed has been tested for infection and i get the results tomorrow.
