Ghost In The Mirror

I met Alan today! He's staying here with us until Sunday, when they go back home. His family was getting out of hand so I told Austin to pick him up so he could have a good time for the rest of his visit in Scranton.

We were all sitting on the couch making small talk when my phone started ringing. It was Ricky. I excused myself from the living room and went into my bedroom before answering his call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tarra! What are you and Josh doing this afternoon?" He asked, getting right to the point.

"Probably hanging out with Austin and Alan. Why? What's up?" I replied.

"Opal and her band are playing at a local bar. You and Josh wanna come see? You can bring your friends."

"I would love to! What time?"

"Six. Ill text you the name of the bar. Ill see you later!"

"Bye!" I cheered then hung up. I waled back into the living room and reclaimed my spot by Josh.

"Who was it?" He asks as he wraps am arm around my shoulder.

"Ricky. He said Opal and her band are playing a gig tonight at a local bar. He asked if we would come. He even invitied Austin and Alan." I explained, smiling at my friends.

I hadn't heard Opal play befor but I heard she was a killer guitarist so I was excited to go. I wouldn't miss tonight for anything, even if the three of them stay home.

"Hell yeah!" Josh exclaimed. I smiled. I looked over at Austin and Alan and they looked unsure about something.

"Would your friends even like us?" Alan questions nervously.

"Are you kidding me? They'll love you guys! They would be stupid not to!" Josh yells, answering Alan. He was right though. If they didn't like these two then they're idiots. Austin and Alan are awesome.

"Im in." Austin nodded. He looked over at Alan, lacing his fingers with his.

"Me to." Alan smiled.

"You guys should probably get ready then. I don't think they'll let you in with sweats on." Josh informed us. I nodded and went back into my room. Austin and Alan followed me and grabbed their bags then went into the bathroom to change. Josh came in my room before I could shut the door. I guess he wanted to help me find clothes.

He walked to my dresser and pulled out my shreaded black skinny jeans. "You should wear these." He said, putting them in my hands.

"And why is that?" I questioned, arching an eyebrow.

"Because you look really hot in them. That's why." He stated, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Ok then." I nodded. He kissed me then let me go.

I went to my closet and pulled out my fitted white v-neck. I set that on my bed then went back to my dresser to grab a white bra. A black one wouldn't be a good idea. I tossed it on my bed and grabbed a pair of no-show socks, tossing them to the bed as well. I pulled my white vans out of my closet then set them by my door.

"You have to leave now." I told Josh.

He pouted. "But, why?"

"Because I don't want you to see me naked."

"Fine." He sighed, slowly trudging out of my room.

As soon as the door was shut I started getting dressed. After, I pulled my hair out of the messy bun it was in on the top of my head and brushed through it. I straighted it after and started putting my make up on.

I had a simple smokey eye and winged eye liner. I wasn't big on colored lip gloss, which is why all of mine is a nude color. I put that on then called Josh back into the room.

"Do I look ok?" I asked, spinning around in a circle.

"You look beautiful." He replied, planting a soft kiss on my lips.

I smiled then hugged him. "Thanks baby." I looked at my phone and noticed it was almost six. I also had a text from Ricky telling me the location of the bar. "We gotta go."

"Austin and Alan are ready." Josh informed me as I started to leave my room. I nodded. "I also know where Opal is playing so I will lead the way."

I nodded again. "Let's go." I told Austin and Alan, smiling. They nodded then we were on our way.

We walked the whole way, it was only twenty minutes, and almost didn't get in because of our age. Opal had to come outside and tell the guard we were with her.

She led us to our larger group of friends, and her band. "Hi guys!" I waved. "This is Austin and Alan." I introduced. "Austin and Alan, this is Chris, Cailyn, Angelo, Rosalie, Ariel, Ryan, Devin, Mary, and Ricky. You've already met Opal."

I looked towards the two of them and tride to bite back a laugh. They looked so overwhelmed. I would be to. Its a lot of people.

"Tarra, Austin, Alan! This is my band. Bryan is our vocals, Tyler is on drums, Danny is on bass, Colton is the rhythm guitarist." She explained, pointing to each of them. I waved. I wonder why Im just now meeting them.

"They're all sophmores like me." Opal explained proudly. That's why I've never met them before. Opal is a year under all of us in the group of friends. Everyone besides her is a junior.

"A Night To Forget is on in five minutes." The bar owner explained.

We all wished her good luck before she went on stage. Cailyn was excited for her sister, as well as Ricky for his girlfriend.

They all made their way to the with their instuments, drum sticks, and water bottles. They started playing covers of songs first. They played Last Carress by Misfits, Dude Looks Like A Lady by Aerosmith, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds by The Beatles, then they started playing their own songs after they had the crowd pumped.

Opal was shreading the guitar. I was amazed by how great she was. The riffs she had come up with were off the charts fantastic. Josh wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder then kissed my neck. "She's great isn't she?" He commented. I leaned into his embrace and nodded. "I want to be in a band someday. Music has alwauys been a part of my life and I wanna share it with others, a lot like Opal is doing."

"Form a band." I suggested, turning a bit so I could look him in the eyes. "I believe you can do it."

He nodded a bit and smiled. "Ill talk to the guys about it. Only under one condition though."

"What?"

"I want you by my side the whole time."

"Deal."

Khaos, did you like Opal's chapter? I felt like it was pretty good. Its your character though! If you didn't like it just tell me and ill fix it up to your liking.

They met Alan! I didn't put much of him in there, for that I apoplogize. He wil be next chapter though! Promise!

Im sorry for waiting so long to update. I have reasons though! I will list them off to you.

1. My friends forced me to go to a football game with them Friday night and held me hostage until twelve at night, not that I was complaining. I got free food.

2. Saturday I went over to a friend's house, something I haven't done in a few months now because of my injury.

3. Sunday I went to church then to a couple comic books shops, then got into an arguement with a friend of mine. I was so pissed off after that I couldn't think straight, or write a chapter.

4. Earlier today I went swimming for the first time in THREE months. I had so much fun! Its hard not swimming for that long when you live five minutes from the beach.
