*Tiffany POV*
“I am sorry I didn’t mean to scare you. I knocked but you didn’t say anything so and the door wasn’t locked.” Austin stood in the doorway of the bathroom.
“It’s fine actually. I was just caught a little off guard.” I said.
“I was wondering if you wanted go for a walk on the beach. Its kinda boring out here.” The male voice s

poke again. He sounded so familiar, I just couldn’t figure out who it was.
“Yeah, I would love too.’ I totally forgot that I was on the phone with Chris. ‘Oh shit! I almost forgot.”
I quickly bent down to pick up my phone off the floor “Hey Chris I’ll call you tonight or maybe tomorrow. Okay?” I waited to hear his answer.
“Sure. Um. That’s cool. Kiss Sam for me okay?” I smiled at the fact that he always brought up Sam. He was always playing with him and Blaise. It was the cutest thing ever seeing him with kids.
“I will.” I cooed. “Bye.”
“Bye.” I could hear how tense he was in the one line. Did he hear Austin and I talking?

I looked up at Austin as I hung up, “Ready?”
He nodded and stepped back to let me through the doorway. I walked out to find David standing talking to some guy from one of the bands. His eyes shifted from me to Austin and back to me. He shot me a look that I knew all too well. I quickly grabbed Austin hand and walked out on the porch.
“Alone at last.” I said turning to Austin, letting go of his hand as I did. I looked out towards the beach. I felt Austin’s hand slide its way back into mine. I took off my heels before walked into the sand. Austin held my hand helping me to keep my balance. We walked in silence for awhile.
“Tell me about yourself.” Austin questioned finally breaking the silence.
“Well, I come a from big family. Two sisters and four brothers. My parent’s are separated. I have an amazing son, as you know. I was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I get my temper from my mother and I get my heart from my father.”
“Four brothers? How’d that work?” I could feel his thumb rubbing circles into my hand.
“I guess pretty good since I am in a band with them.” I laughed to myself.
“So Lionel is the fourth Sullivan brother then?”
“No actually. We grew up with him. I didn’t really get close with him till High school though."
Austin nodded taking in my comment. ‘It is James, actually.”
“Is he gonna show up here tonight too?” Austin giggled a little.
“No, he’s in Afganstan.”
“Oh. His in the military? What branch?” He squeezed on my hand a little.
“Marines. Followed in my dad’s footsteps.” I squeezed back a little.
“So when did you adopt your son?”
“Right after I got married. I use to babysit him when he was a baby my senior year of high school. His Parents were actually from Russia and came here to start a new life for themselves. They passed away when he was one. I was always taking care of him, it just felt right to adopt him.” I looked over at him waiting for a response.
“You were married?” Austin stopped walking then and motioned for me to sit with him.
I sat down beside him and nodded my head “ 3 ½ years. I put up with his shit for 3 and ½ years.”
“What happened?” I watched as he played with the sand in his other hand.
I struggled to admit what happened to me during when we were married. I could feel the knot build in my throat.
“You don’t have talk about it if you don’t want to.” Austin reached over and placed a hand on my knee.
“Let just say that high school love is such bullshit.’ I said with a harsh laugh. ‘What about you? What’s your story, Mr. Carlile?” I nudged him with my shoulder.
“What? You don’t know?” Austin looked at me with smirk on his face.
“I’m sorry I have only heard a couple songs and I don’t stalk you guys like my mom apparently does.” I shoved him a little. He dove right in telling me his story from the his childhood to his ex wife, Gisele. I listened to his story amazed. It was when he talked about his mother and the music he made that I could tell that he loved them the most. It was so beautiful how passionate he was about them.
“Wow.”
“What?” I asked, confused.
“Your an amazing listener. I haven’t had anyone actually stop and let me talk for once.”
“My mom use to say I should become a counselor before I found my love for music.” I looked out at the beach. The sun was starting to set.
“So beautiful.” I said looking at the sunset.
“I know.” I looked over find Austin staring at me. I looked down at the sand smiling to myself. In one swift movement I felt his hand make me look at him and his lips crash into mine. Caught off guard, it took me second to kiss him back. I felt his tongue brush against my bottom lip asking for access, which I happily granted. After a while we broke away from each other.
“You’re so amazing.” I said looking into his beautiful chocolate orbs. It was like he was seeing straight into my soul.
Austin slung his long arm over my shoulder and pulled me in closer to his side. We sat there in the sand a little longer, watching the sun go down.
“Are you cold?” I nodded. The sun went down taking the heat with it.
“Let’s go back inside but before we do. I want something to remember tonight.” Austin pulled out his phone from his pocket.
“What that kiss wasn’t enough? I smirked.
“Believe me that kiss was definitely enough. I just want picture of us.” We turned our backs to the sunset and I snuggled in close to Austin again. He kissed my forehead and took the picture. We started back towards the porch. In the distance, I could see someone standing on the porch. As we grew closer, they moved back inside.

We went back inside and talked to a couple of people. I separated myself Austin and talked to Bring Me boys and my brothers. I also meet some of the guys from issues, northlane and Letlive. After an hour or two more of sharing stories and thinking of how amazing the tour would be, I started to say my goodbyes to everyone.
“I’ll walk you out.” Austin said when I told him I was leaving. As we walked out, hand and hand, there were a few ‘oh’s in the background.
We walked out to my car, ignoring them.
“When can I see you again?” Austin asked as we came to my car.
“Well I am taking Sam to the Zoo tomorrow and I have a couple meeting next week. But maybe I can squeeze you in.” I looked up at Austin.
“Okay, I’ll call you then. Goodnight.” Austin leaned down closer to me.
“Okay Goodnight.” I removed the space the between us and pressed my lips to his.
I got into my car and watched his tall figure moved in the dark walking back to the house. I started buckling up when I heard my phone again letting me know that I received a new notification. I unlocked it to find that Austin had tagged me in a post. It was the picture we had taken earlier today.
I couldn’t help to smile to myself. I liked the picture and commented two heart emojis.
I drove all the way home with that same smile plastered on my face.

*Austin’s POV*
I watched as Tiffany’s car pulled out of the driveway and sped off into the darkness from inside. I didn’t know what to think of Tiffany. There was just something about her that drew me to her. I haven’t met a woman like her before and I loved that about her. She was different from the girls that I dated before. Originally all I wanted to do hook up but after today there was something that made me want to break through the wall that she had up around her. I turned back to the people that still filled Oliver’s house, still thinking of her. I watched guys joking around and getting wasted not really listening to what they had to say. I noticed as a figure made their way towards me from the corner of my eye.

“Hey man.’ His hand stretched out before him. I took it, shaking it

“Austin.”

“David. I see your good friends with my sister.” He took a sip oof the beer that he was holding in his hand.

“You’re one of her brothers then I see. I have to say your sister is pretty amazing.”

“You don’t have tell me about my own sister. I just want you know If you fucking mess with my sister I will hurt you. I don’t even care if it was over the littlest thing. I will end you. ” I looked down at David, being that He was shorter than me by a couple inches.

“I have no intentions to hurt her in anyway or form.” I stated not letting his little threat phase me.

“I don’t care if you were or weren’t. You just better be careful.” With that he turned away walked back into the crowd of people. I walked to a table and put down the drink I had in my hand and walked to door to leave.

I pulled out my phone and found Tiffany’s number quickly and dialed her number. I walked down the driveway and sat on the curb, waiting for her to answer.

“Calling already? You can’t get enough me can you?” Tiffany said as soon as she answered.

“Of course not. I wanted to also check and see if you made it home yet. Plus I did say I would call you.”

“I just walked through the door actually.”

“Good. I am glad you made it home safe.” I smiled as looked down at the ground.

“I’m really glad you called though. My mom wanted me to invite you to the bar barque she having tomorrow after I take Sam to the zoo. So what do you think? Do you wanna come?” I listened as she patiently waited to hear my answer.

“I would love to.”
