Who Can Save Me Now?

I paced the room, over exaggerating on my vocal exercises as I got ready to go out. Alyssa rushed in, her sleeveless tank on, as usual, showing her tattoos. Ben walked in after her followed by Grant. We huddled as the crowd began chanting and Lu-Lu bounced in the room, jumping over the couch and catching Vic off guard.

“Alright, ready?” Grant asked. We all nodded and he grinned.

“It’s our first show back, that means new fans, music, and tricks.” Grant said, looking at us. “We’re gonna fucking kick some ass tonight!” He yelled and we cheered. “The kids are gonna fucking love us! Now let’s go and fucking show these bands who run this shit!” We all cheered, Ben pulling Alyssa to the table, both standing on it as Tyler Carter ran past so he wouldn’t get hit and they back-flipped off. Lu-Lu and Grant took a shot of whiskey and I finished my vocal exercises.

“And now, here to perform their hit single from their new album, give it up for Suicide Night!” The host of the AP Awards, Jeremy Mckinnon spoke and the crowd cheered. I looked at the band behind me.

Ben fixed his bass before smiling at me.

Grant put out his cigarette before turning his attention to the stage.

Lu-Lu hopped in place, her guitar firmly strapped around her body.

Alyssa twirled her sticks, looking down and Adam quickly snapping a photo of her.

Alyssa looked up, nodding at us before walking out into the screaming stage and waved, getting on her drums and starting the beat of our song. Ben followed, playing his while Grant walked out, Lu-Lu running out and I was left. I watched the crowd getting excited, waiting for the show to start.

Alyssa began picking up the beat when I ran out, full speed, up the steps, across the stage and grabbed the mic stand. The crowd screamed. I took the mic off the stand, letting it fall as I ran to Grant and he began screaming. I sang, holding the crowd’s hands and ran off stage, having the crowd sing the words back to us. I smiled and got back on stage, finishing the song as Alyssa finished her part and the crowd screamed.

“Thank you Ohio!” I yelled and bowed. I grinned as everyone yelled for another song and I turned to see our manager give me an apologetic look while waving at us to get off stage.

Grant, Ben and Lu-Lu threw their picks, Alyssa tossing her sticks and winking out at a few people who screamed her name. ”Always the popular one,” I smiled at her as we walked back stage and she shrugged, taking the wedding ring from Austin and pulling it on.

After an hour of passing out awards, it was our turn.

“The winner for album of the year is,” Andy Leo smiled into the mic.

“Suicide Night!” Andy and Dave both said and my jaw fell.

Lu-Lu jumped up in happiness, Ben and Alyssa hugged as Grant shook me and I grinned, laughing. We rushed on stage and took the Skully.

“I think Tori here is still in shock.” Grant spoke into the mic. I smiled up at him as everyone took turns thanking everyone and when Alyssa was done, she gave me the award, letting me talk.

“Thank you, to everyone that made this possible. Our producers, merch sellers, manager, our record company and thank you to my band. But most importantly to the fans for supporting us and letting us do what we love most. Thank you so much!” The crowd cheered and we all waved, walking off stage and back to with the other bands. We got bands telling us congratulating us and other taking turn hugging us.

I spotted Andy smiling at me and I walked over, showing him the Skully.

“Sorry for stealing this from you guys.” I mocked and he rolled his eyes.

“There’s always next time Mrs. Biersack.” He leaned down and kissed me. I returned it, hearing Panic! At The Disco begin playing their song and I pulled back.

“I’m not your wife yet.” I playfully rolled my eyes and Andy playfully glared at me.

“In three days you will!” He sang and I laughed.

Once the awards ended, the group headed to Austin and Alyssa’s house to an after party and I just headed home, too tired and exhausted from today’s events.

I plopped in bed, laying faced up and pulled the blankets over my body, wrapping them around me. I grabbed my phone, going into IG and snapping a photo of me.

I uploaded it, locking my phone before going to sleep. I woke up to footsteps walking toward my room and I opened my eyes to see my bedroom door slither open and Evelyn’s face poked in.

“Sorry, just wanted to see if you were home, go back to sleep, it’s barely 8.” I closed my eyes and fell back asleep as she closed the door. When I woke up again, I sat up and yawned, scratching my upper arm before heading down stairs. I found Evelyn’s bag on the couch and she was in the kitchen on the phone.

“No, everything is set, just chill. Alright see you in two days. Love you too.” She hung up and turned to me, staring at me. “How much did you hear?” She asked.

“Just that you have everything set, so chill and you love them. Jack?” I guessed and she nodded.

“The idiot got drunk and went through the drive-thru of Taco-Bell half naked.” She rolled her eyes, smiling. I let out a laugh, going behind the kitchen counter and opening up the fridge.

“So, what crazy plans do we have today?” I asked, slightly afraid of what she might say.

“Nothing crazy, just pure relaxation.” She smiled. I turned to her and she hopped on the counter.

“Let’s eat and I’ll explain what we’re doing after.”

We both had cereal, Evelyn ordering me upstairs and told me to change into some lazy clothes. I pulled on a pair of black pajama pants with low pockets on both sides, and one of Andy’s t-shirts. I walked down to see her in grey joggers, both hands in her pockets and a BONER shirt.

“Ready?” She asked and we headed out.
