Who Can Save Me Now?

Chapter 19

“Once your set is over, get back to the bus and do whatever it is you people do before you guys can go to the festival and watch other bands or look around and meet some fans.” Our manager told us as we all got ready to go on stage.

It’s been two years since we all met and with tours being thrown at us, new albums and many surprises, it was hard to keep up with each other. And in case you’re wondering, this was a surprise I was talking about:

“Lu-Lu, my microphone is in the bus, run and get it for me please?” I asked and she saluted me, running toward the tour bus.

“Alright, what’s gonna happen?” Alyssa asked and the band huddled as Pierce the Veil got on stage with us.

“Everything set?” Mike asked and we all nodded.

“Got it!” Lu-Lu ran back and I thanked her as she continued getting ready, grabbing her guitar and grinned at Vic. “My good luck charm.” She quickly kissed him and he returned it.

“Two minutes!” The stage manager announced and we all huddled.

“Alright, who’s asses are gonna kick!?” Ben yelled and we all cheered.

“We’re gonna fuck shit up!” Grant yelled and Alyssa was jumping in place, nodding as she concentrated on the note changes in a few songs.

“Those kids are going to be chanting for more by the time we’re done!” Ben grinned and Lu-Lu jumped, clapping her hands and I laughed.

“We’re gonna show these bands who’s boss around here!” Grant laughed and I rolled my eyes, smiling.

Alyssa, Ben and Grant did the usual back flip, Lu-Lu jumping in place as I did a bit of vocal warm-ups.

“Well, go kick ass.” I turned and Andy smiled at me. I nodded and turned back to the stage where the crowd was already chanting our name. I jumped a couple times, seeing Lu-Lu grab her guitar and run out.

And we began.

We played three songs, finally taking a breather and I sat on an amp smiling at the crowd as they cheered.

“Well, looks like we got a huge crowd here today.” I smiled and they cheered. “How many of you guys liked our second record?” I asked and again, they answered with cheers. “Awesome! Now, as you guys know, my name is Victoria.” I smiled and stood up, bowing elegantly.

“This, is Ben.” I pointed to him and he waved, winking and blowing kisses.

“Over here we have Grant.” I turned to him and he smiled at the fans, lighting a cigarette and puffing out smoke before waving and grinning.

“Alyssa on the drums.” I pointed to her and she stood on the drum seat, waving and tossing her sticks to the crowd, getting her spare ones from our manager.

“And last but not least, Lu-Lu!” I announced and she waved, grinning at everyone and Vic walked up behind her, Ben silently quieting everyone about it.

“Lu-Lu is a dear friend of ours and as you can see the most liveliest.” I laughed and she grinned at me. “But now, we have a surprise for her.”

It was then that Vic got down on one knee and the whole crowd burst out in screams, that Lu-Lu turned around and screamed. I tossed Vic my mic, he laughed and reached her hand, holding it in his tightly.

“I’m in love with the woman who I first thought was annoying as hell. The woman who made me lose all action and thought with a smile. Lu-Lu, will you marry me?” Vic asked and everyone screamed.

Lu-Lu nodded, jumping up and down as Vic jumped up, hugging her tightly and taking out an engagement ring.

We all celebrated, finishing our set and heading out to our bus to get clean so we could all walk around warped.

"I will be stealing my fiancé." Vic smiled and Lu-Lu eagerly followed him to the festival, holding his hand and grinning.

"Why don't I propose to you like that?" Austin asked Alyssa and she rolled her eyes, walking away as he followed, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Jenna said she would be here so I'm gonna go find her. Isn't Tay coming too?" Grant asked.

Last year, Ben was introduced to Tay Jardine, front woman for We Are The In Crowd, and to say it was meant to be is an understatement.

Grant was then with him and Tay when Jenna McDougall, from Tonight Alive, met him and they immediately swapped numbers.

Now, everyone in the band was happily taken.

"M'lady, shall we head to the festival?" Andy asked and I followed him.

We got back home after a couple weeks and relaxing. Ben and Grant were off on their dates, Lu-Lu and Vic were getting details ready for the wedding and Alyssa was... Who knows.

I was in the kitchen, making a sandwich when the front door closed and I looked up to see Alyssa running in, Austin hot on her heels as they ran up the stairs and her bedroom door slammed shut.

Time to go!

I grabbed my phone and sandwich, hurrying out the house and calling Andy.

"Yes girlfriend?" He answered.

"Pick me up?" I asked and he chuckled.

"On my way." I sat in front of the house until Andy's car pulled up and I ran in toward it, getting in and he drove off.

"What's up?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Alyssa and Austin are having fun in her bedroom."

"Oh no." He laughed and I smiled. "Good thing I saved you."

Andy parked his car in a parking lot, both of us getting out as he took my hand and we walked until hitting the beach.

"Tori." He turned to me.

We sat on the sand, the water coming in slow and calmly.

"Yeah?" I looked up at him and he smiled.

"I love you,very much." I smiled and got on my knees, hugging him.

"I love you too Andy."
