Who Can Save Me Now?

I pulled back, looking at Andy and he chuckled, leaning in again and kissing me quickly. I didn’t laugh or smile, I blushed a bright red and hid my face in his chest, earning a laugh from him and his hand brushing my hair down. “You know how long I waited for this?” He asked. I shook my head and he softly pushed my head back, looking at me and rested his forehead on mine. “Ever since I first saw you.”

We said our good nights, Andy walking me to his bus and he kissed my cheek one more time before I got in. I looked over at the group who were watching TV. Lu-Lu was between Grant and Ben, her head resting on Ben’s shoulders. Alyssa was curled next to Ben, staring at the TV while her phone lit up but she ignored it. Grant looked over at me and smiled, patting the seat next to him and I walked over, sitting next to him as he wrapped an arm my shoulders.

“You guys dating?” Grant asked. I looked up at him and shrugged.

I woke up to Alyssa shaking me and a huge grin on her face. “What?” I lightly hit her face to move it away.

“Guess who’s playing Warped today.” I looked at her and rubbed my eyes.

“Do I know this band?” I yawned, sitting up and ruffling my hair.

“You should, you’re in it.” I blinked a few times before Alyssa grinned and rushed off the bus.

I quickly took my suitcase out and changed into a black ADTR tank and a flannel shirt over it, pulling my skinny jeans on and my worn out Vans. I hurried out to the front, rushing out and seeing Grant rush over to me and grabbing my hand. The bus had left us right in the front, as the parking was full of the buses from the bands already here.

“Our manager asked us this morning and we agreed right away.” Grant pulled me to the entrance. I could see the long line of kids waiting and turned to see Lu-Lu and Ben jumping in place.

“Last one at the gates has to perform in the mosh pit.” Ben grinned and Alyssa smiled.

“Get your passes at least.” Grant chuckled, giving us all our backstage pass. I hung mine on the loop of my jeans and stood next to Alyssa. “Ready?” Grant asked and we all got ready.

“Set-“

“Go!” Alyssa ran full speed and I took off after her. Grant was hot on my heels before Ben passed me with Lu-Lu on his back. She was laughing like crazy and I saw a few fans looking at us and others screaming.

“Tori!”

“Grant! Take me with you!” I looked as Grant passed me and I tried running as fast as I could. I saw the gates ahead and Ben and Lu-Lu passed right in, Grant behind them and Alyssa made it half a step behind. I slowed down and slumped on the floor, laughing as a few people risked their place in line to see me.

“Hey, you okay?” A few fans asked and I smiled, nodding. I took a few photos before I noticed Alyssa walking to me and a guy ran straight out of line to her. She smiled at him and hugged him quickly before pulling me with her.

“We’re playing Main Stage today! We’ll make sure Tori is out in the crowd!” She called and people cheered and I playfully glared at her.

After our performances, I left with a few small bruises from the fans trying to get to me and being extra sweaty. We all got off stage, being stopped by an interviewer on our way to the bus.

“Sorry, but can I borrow you guys individually? For an interview about the band?” We all nodded and Ben nodded to the bus.

“I’ll get freshened up first and I’ll go first.”

I walked off the bus, bumping into someone and stepping back. “Hey sorry about that.” I looked up and recognized Ronnie Radke.

“Holy shit, you’re…” I trailed off, Ronnie chuckling and nodding.

“Ronnie, yeah. You’re Victoria right? From that band that played just now.”

“Yeah! I’m a huge fan too!” I felt myself fangirling and Ronnie laughed again.

“Thanks, I could say the same. Listen, I was thinking of playing Bad Girls Club and it would cool if you joined me and sang the chant.” I could feel a scream build up and I eagerly nodded, Ronnie grinning and I followed him up the main stage again. FIR began playing as I sat side stage and sang along.

“I have a good friend here who’s going to help me sing this next song! Let’s bring out Tori!” I took my mic and walked out, waving at the fans and grinning at Jacky as I passed him.

I walked to the front, the crowd singing the ‘heys’ with me and I ran back with Derek

I stopped head banging with Derek, singing the next part with Ronnie as I walked toward Jacky and leaned on his back.

I went back to the front and had the security help me to the barricade, standing on the edge and having the crowd chant. I got off as Ronnie started singing and went back on stage.

I walked back, running to Ryan and jumped on the bass drum, balancing on it as we both sang, Ronnie singing behind me. I swung my hips back and forth to the music, enjoying myself.

The entire crowd joined us and I grinned jumping down for the set and ran to Ronnie to finish it off.

I leaned against his side, laughing for the effect and the crowd went crazy. I waved at them one last time and got off stage and catching my breath. “Tori?” I looked over at the interviewer from earlier and smiled.

“Yeah, what’s up?” I asked.

“Mind having the interview now?” He asked. I nodded and followed him to an empty picnic table.
